Hi girls, 'first timer' here! Due with first baby on 24 June - feeling very excited and nervous too! I've found the last few weeks of the first trimester pretty hard going - tiredness, gagging feeling, tummy upset... but the worse thing is the loneliness and not being able to share my biggest news with my mum and best friends. It's killing me! We had dating scan on Tues and all looking great - a very wriggly baby! - but we're waiting til Xmas to tell my parents and family etc... so I'm hoping you lovely lot can feel the void until then! Love to here from you xxx

Morning (just!) after a six hour wait I had bloods taken and an internal examination and am booked in for a scan tomorrow at 3pm. Absolutely shattered now but doctor seemed to think hormone levels etc looked ok so there might be a chance.

Seahawk sorry to hear you had a giant wait too, glad you were able to get it done though. Hope the wait for the results doesn't drag out too much and as others have said, I've heard quite a few stories of NHS test being inaccurate so I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Just to round off my awful day I'm now bleeding but they did say it was normal so I'm using all my strength to stay positive!

oh seahawk you've really been through the ringer today. I hope it's just normal after effects and it eases off soon.

Hello, new here! First time mum due July 21. Although it has changed a few times! Just back from my booking appt, midwife was lovely and 12 week scan on the 9th Jan. Already had an early scan and heard the heartbeat, which has been the only highlight so far! Suffering from hyperemis and in general feeling awful. Desperately hoping it all eases off soon. Congrats to all,looking forward to meeting some bump buddies soon! X

Oops sorry not should have posted by updated dates as I had my scan this morning, they put me at 12 weeks exactly with EDD of 30/06/16 but I'd very much like to stay with you guys if you will have me, I'm fairly sure this baby will be here in July!

Baby was in an upright position and wouldn't move round so my scan pictures are pretty funny, the baby looks like Mr Burns from the Simpsons! Sonographer didn't charge us for the pictures as they weren't great.

I've had a marathon sleep all morning and am now getting up.

Went for an early scan privately 😢 baby measuring 6w 0.5cm with a slow heartbeat. I'm supposed to be 9 weeks tomorrow 😢 not sure what to make of it... Can only think the worse. I'm so so sad.

Hey Hula, thinking of you. On scan I was measuring 10 days less than expected :( it's been a week now :(
All you can do is wait and hope.

I hope it's some kind of mix up and everything is ok.

I'm really struggling with the nausea now and am considering asking for medication from my gp.
It's just all day and all night and it's much worse when I'm moving around , but with two dc I just can't cope with it.
