We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

Shock don't do too much bonkers I'd never have been able to something like that so heavily pregnant!

Business as usual for me (well, perhaps not the cleaning Grin ), I'm just a bit slower than I used to be! I'm not one for being stuck indoors doing nothing. These three weeks of work have driven me crazy as I can't do what I'd normally do with time off (ride and cycle!)

Popskipiekin · 09/12/2016 14:03

Oh thanks bigfam (btw Romy is adorable!). I'm better, DS is not but just virus/ear/chesty thing, not DV or anything, just none of us getting any sleep as he gets wheezy and needs an inhaler poor lamb.
Ah congrats jfw82 Owen is absolutely perfect - as is his babygro Grin
Bonkers I have all digits and limbs crossed that you have your baby in the next day or so, good luck!!

billabye · 09/12/2016 14:16

Baby Poppy born this morning weighing 6.15 after a fairly lengthy induction. Thankfully the pushing stage was over quickly! Hoping to be home soon and introduce her to her big sister x

Oh billabye She's absolutely gorgeous. Glad (some of) your labour was manageable.

What a snuggley picture Billabye! Super cute. Congratulations!

Thisisbonkers · 09/12/2016 16:33

Ummm, are waters breaking a constant trickle or would I just get a bit of a gush. Well, not even a gush. Thinking it might be a show. I'm not home and the one time I've not put my notes back in the car....

Thisisbonkers · 09/12/2016 16:57

Just realised that's a bit TMI Blush on my way home to call triage!

Insertwitticismhere · 09/12/2016 17:15

Think we are all past tmi now! Smile. Last time my waters went in a steady trickle over several hours. Got through a lot of maternity pads but no 'floods'. Went to triage to check and got a time for induction in case labour didn't begin spontaneously. Good luck!

Popskipiekin · 09/12/2016 17:19

Think waters can break in lots of different ways. Last time I just thought I was wetting myself continuously Grin Exciting times bonkers!!

Thisisbonkers · 09/12/2016 17:59

I've got home and chilled the hell out. Pretty sure it's not my waters. So shall monitor. Tea is in the oven and I want to eat it before needing to go anywhere Grin

duxb · 09/12/2016 18:32

Congratulations on the new arrivals.

The induction process began on Tuesday and was rather long for me - finally had my waters broken yesterday at 2pm and after fourteen hours of gas and air taking me to 7cm dilated, baby decided she wasn't for co-operating. (Still back to back but head sideways and chin up rather than down, kept trying to force herself out and was contracting at 9cm despite her being in the completely wrong position and me only being 7cm when not contracting). An epidural on medical grounds that didn't take and then an emergency c-section under GA due to a failed spinal block and our daughter, Ruby Elizabeth was born at 5.16am weighing 7lb 13.5oz - twelve days overdue. She is worth every second of difficulty of the induction and labour process despite it being as far from my birth plan as possible, as well as all the days the last fortnight i convinced myself we were never going to meet her and we are beyond blessed. For all of you losing the will to leave, I promise it's worth it.

Minispringroll · 09/12/2016 18:36

Bonkers I've got the same issue. Not sure whether I'm wetting myself, but the baby is quite low and this might be the reason. Got my 40 week appoinment on Sunday and will ask about it. Confused

DH is home but struggles to get out of bed. They've given him medication for his kidney stone and he seems to be feeling a lot better. Smile It does mean that he'll struggle to come to hospital with me, should anything happen tonight or this weekend. Hmm I do want this baby out...but I'm not sure I want to go by myself...

Congratulations billabye. Flowers

Minispringroll · 09/12/2016 18:38

Congratulations duxb. That sounds rather horrific but she looks gorgeous! Grin

Insertwitticismhere · 09/12/2016 19:35

Congrats duxb she looks like she knows she's been a bit of a pickle! Smile hope you are feeling ok all things considered! x

Bigfam · 09/12/2016 20:18

Gorgeous duxb congratulations x
C'mon baby bonkers, I want my prediction to be right Grin

Wow. So many new babies! Congratulations to you all! Hope you are all recovering well. xx

billabye · 09/12/2016 20:59

duxb that sounds like a nightmare but what a gorgeous cheeky little smile she's got. Well done for getting through it Flowers

Popskipiekin · 09/12/2016 21:12

duxb that sounds like you've endured and survived every woman's worst labour nightmare - I take my hat off to you. Baby Ruby is beautiful and I hope you all get some rest in the coming days.

springroll that's such good news about your DH - hope he can recover fully enough to accompany you when it's time.

Fed up of baby not being here and have arranged swanky date night with DH tomorrow evening in the hope that the baby will jeopardise it by arriving.... can but dream. My mum has prescribed champagne and lobster as apparently this is what got me out at 17 days late!

Bigfam · 10/12/2016 01:03

This time last week I was awake & babyless, little did I know in just over an hour my contractions would start and I'd be holding my beautiful girl in a few hours time ❤ Can't believe she's a week old already!

Growingbeanno2 · 10/12/2016 07:28

Oh fan that's what we were just talking about on the flip. Every Saturday am we veg in bed with toddler and movies. This time next week it'll include a baby!!!!!

Happy weekend everyone

Bigfam · 10/12/2016 07:35

It's weird isn't it, you'll be saying it next week beano how exciting!
I thought to myself so many times 'this time last week I was doing this I was pregnant' 😊
Tested out the baby sling/wrap yesterday, it felt like I was pregnant again. Seeing her scrunch up her little body like how she would have been in my bump was awesome. (except the other way up obviously!)

Hi everyone. Congratulations on all the new babies. Im still patiently waiting but im not too worried. Due on 25th so still a few weeks to go. Hubby informed me yesterday that he is only getting christmas day off this year (chef). He changed jobs in may so not entitled to paternity. But his employer is letting him take 10 days holidays when baby does come, so to get more off over Christmas it would be ideal if baby comes after 20th but hopefully before Christmas. Not asking much am I..
Well now i keep thinking that he will come before that. Woke this morning to being quite wet down below. Thought it could be waters leaking but dont think it was. Will keep an eye on it to see wats happening..

StubbleTurnips · 10/12/2016 09:36

No changes here, except a very poorly toddler who's been in and out of the doctors (thank goodness it wasn't appendicitis in the end). 6 days till my due date, had horrible visions of DD needing surgery and me being in labour!

Bigfam · 10/12/2016 09:47

Your poor little dd stubble have they got any idea what's causing it? Glad to hear they've ruled out appendicitis. I hope she's feeling better soon.
