New december 2016 thread! Will there be arrivals on this thread I wonder?

We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

Lots of new arrivals!

I don't know if my waters broke last night, or if it was just a 'wee' accident. I'd woken up needing the loo (again!) but was just lay in bed. There was a bit of a pfft moment. Only enough to wet 'jamas and nothing else. I went and peed and all seemed normal, and no staining when I wiped? No further dribbles, so guess it was a weak pelvic floor moment?

Maybe thisisbonkers, what did it smell like. I have been told waters smell of semen. If it was wee you would know by the smell.

bonkers I'll join you in the same club, seems to be most nights I wake for a wee; due to the spd / trying to move I seem to leak what I'm hoping is wee. I seem to have always soggy pants

It didn't really smell of anything. I think it was probably pee

I'm sweating more at night recently, maybe because I added an extra blanket because of the low temperatures. I also am having increasing pelvic floor issues, what fun

Thisisbonkers, yes I think it's our pelvic floor now too, I'm in the loo so much during and during the day, I feel like l live in there!! Been wearing protection for ages now as there always seems to be a little leakage nowadays, not long now and the babies will stop playing football with our bladders constantly!!

Had my 38w appointment today, baby not engaged

Midwife did book me for an induction at 40+12 though, so there's a definite date in case we go over!

They told me my baby wasn't engaged when I was in labour so I think they can move quite quickly so don't worry Turnips.
My waters didn't really smell but did smell different to pee. They were pinky though. I found it hard to tell as didn't get any unusual feeling. Maybe see if the midwife will check you over bonkers x

I am so bloody tired! DS dropped his nap for the second day in a row, utterly hanging

Dd3 has dropped her daytime naps too dartmoor you don't realise how much of a life saver they are until they stop do you? Although saying that, she slept really well last night, but today has been a bit shit with the virus, at times she's been completely out of it.

Had 38 week appointment today and baby is apparently 2/5. Is that good? I feel like he's trying to tunnel his way out at every opportunity. Have been given a date for our 40-week appointment and apparently they'll start "helping him on his way" when I'd be 41 weeks. I seriously hope he's making an appearance before that.

It's neither good nor bad really, it means he's 3/5ths engaged. Going in the right direction!

It is awesome in terms of bedtimes bigfam but I'm already counting down til I can start putting him down, just under 2 hours to go!!

Our beautiful boy arrived 23rd November, 12 days early. Absolutely beautiful and all well

I can absolutely sympathise with the poor pelvic floor. I've been wearing protection for weeks. Bloody sexy!

Had Ds1(3) all day today and what with him and my SPD, sciatica and weak legs I'm broken! Back to the childminder tomorrow!! I think he's as happy as me!!

My waters smelt like bleach and semen first time round. Definitely a different smell to wee!

Growing I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with anxiety, So have I, it's so hard when you have a pre existing issue with anxiety, as pregnancy really can bring it on.

bigfam sorry about you little one being ill! Hope for speedy recovery.

Counting down, 11 days till due date. Wouldn't mind if he came next week, as soon as we've set up the bed and got a double buggy, thinking we'll manage it this week. Going Christmas shopping tomorrow, so hoping to get all Christmas presents in one go.

37+5 here and from last night I've had a few random period pains. This means nothing right? Hopefully, as DH is about to go away for two days. (Not far but still.)

Well that's me fasting now until my c section tomorrow, not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight too exciting!

oriana me too, 37 weeks and slight period pains 😬 I was hoping that baby would at least let me have some maternity leave (finish on Friday) before making an appearance but it would be nice to have her before Christmas :)
