Congratulations peanut glad you're both doing well!

Thinking of you queen good luck for tomorrow - unless things speed up and you have baby tonight!

Birth announcements make me so nervous! I have a csection booked for 29/11, and the baby's room doesn't have a wall yet, the builders aren't back until Saturday, and I haven't picked the paint or wallpaper for when it has been plastered.

At least she'll be in our room for the first few months, but I really want her room finished so I can set her furniture up, get her clothes washed and put away etc. Has everyone else got lots left to do?

Baby's room is being painted next week tip and furniture arriving the week after that. All DS's clothes are sorted in boxes and just need washing though so if anything does happen it wouldn't be too big a drama just a bit awkward!

tipboov - yes so much to do here too. Loft conversion still hasn't even started!!! Apparently it will be within the next 10 days, but it'll take about 8 weeks and I'm due in 7! There are a few others with building work going on in the FB group too. I also can't wait to just have it all done so I can decorate and put the clothes away nicely. I've had to borrow space in drawers in ds1s room for now!

Congratulations Peanut! I hope you both make good progress. Will you be able to stay in with him?

Thanks all! I'm expected to be in for a couple of days but won't stay in for the duration that he's here. He's got a swolllen head at the mo so they're monitoring that and he made need a scan and/or X-ray to keep an eye on it. He had a rough delivery even though it was a c because he'd got himself in a really awkward position and it was a 3 person challenge to get him out. This means he's quite badly bruised the poor thing but Drs will seem him on rounds at 9am & we'll see what they have to say then.

Oh congratulations Peanut! What a shock for you both though. If it makes you feel any better I have a friend whose baby was born at 35 weeks and he's now 3 months and doing brilliantly. xx I hope you are both well enough to go home soon. xx

I have to say 4 days into finishing work and I feel so much more relaxed. Really pleased I had enough annual leave left over that I could leave at 35 weeks this time, rather than staying to over 37 weeks like I did last time.

All starting to get a bit scarily real though. Hospital stuff is all packed and downstairs waiting to go, and I have my 36 week appointment at the midwifery unit on Sunday (they very kindly let me have a Sunday appointment as my 36 week check is at the midwifery unit rather than the community midwife, and DH wants to see the maternity unit as well). I think baby may be starting to engage a bit. Last night I had to get up 3 times to pee in about 20 minutes as the pressure in my bladder was so strong.

Wow it's all pop pop pop here! Can't believe it - and seriously need to get my bag packed by the sounds of it (sods law will end up 2 weeks overdue though ).

Oh my god seriously?! So dd3 has an ear infection and tonsillitis and now ds has got another tooth abscess after only having one about a month ago... this is a bloody nightmare

Anyone else feeling extremely dizzy? I've been so dizzy all day yesterday and this morning, thought I was going to drop off the chair during a meeting this morning! Had to lie down on my office floor for 20 mins afterwards and now feel slightly better, but it's seriously scary waling around in public and suddenly feeling like I'm about to drop on the escalator or on the street

Baby's cot arrived flat packed yesterday and dh is being very relaxed about putting it up! With dd he only put it up when I was already in labour, and even then he was grumpy because he just wanted beers at the end of half term! I'm still angry 2.10 years later My mum is coming to visit this weekend, I might get her to help me put it up. She's good at flat pack!

Congratulations peanut!! I'm also a bit scared by the amount of births. My due date is 4 days after yours peanut so it's getting scarily close! Hope your little one does well.
