Thanks goinggrey think I need to stop buying kitkats and stuff from supermarket because I just now through it!
There's no crap food left in the house so I've had three passion fruits and 2 kiwis for breakfast- very sugary still but telling myself natural sugar not so bad Confused
Thanks stubble I'm a bit worried aim making baby massive!

goinggrey1978 · 24/10/2016 13:39

Bumbleclat, i think also it's because i lost 2 and half stone in the beginning having the gastroenteritis bug that i'm making up for it now, plus i've never been on a diet ever, as medical conditions restrict what i can and cannot digest or tolerate, been on a low fibre, low fat and no dairy products diet for at least 10 years now and i have to eat lots of carbohydrates as well, there are some foods and medications i'm just not allowed to have as i just can't digest them at all, so i just enjoy cooking meals from scratch and batch cook a lot as well

Babydreaming · 24/10/2016 17:28

Has anyone been getting any tummy pains? I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and I've been experiencing this sharp/stabbing/stretching pain on the right side of my tummy next to my belly button. It's in the same side each time and seems to come on after a long day at work on my feet! I've had a scan within last week and baby was okay but I'm just not really sure what it is! I think it may be ligament pain but I thought that came on earlier on and was lower down? Anyone experienced anything similar?

firawla · 24/10/2016 18:10

londonmama the out & about nipper 360 is a double that's quite sturdy and takes slightly bigger children - I can't remember the exact weight but we got that after ds2 got too big but still needed to be in a double (he has Asd and some other issues so was late with motor development and needed to be in a double with ds3 til he was pretty big!!) -we didn't use that while ds3 was newborn as we had a Phil and teds then, so not sure how it is for newborns but I'd say the out and about brand would be worth looking at to accommodate a bigger weight limit for older siblings.

Have to admit I'm quite glad not to need a double this time around though!

StubbleTurnips · 24/10/2016 19:23

baby might be the dreaded braxton hicks? I had this down my left hand side after doing too much the other week, and at weekend when decorating.

queenc81 · 24/10/2016 19:30

Oh wow congratulations ladies who've delivered!!

I'm off to hospital, think my labour has started. Just grateful I've had my course of steroids, hopefully she comes out fine.

How is everyone else feeling? Xx

goinggrey1978 · 24/10/2016 19:30

Babydreaming is like your belly is going really tight and about to split the skin?? if so i've had this on and off for a while and i've been reassured it's normal and it's to do with bubble growing again!

Lovewatchingrainfall · 24/10/2016 20:17

Omg queen hope all goes okay. Must be scary for you.

Babydreaming · 24/10/2016 20:22

Goinggrey that is exactly how it feels! It feels like the baby is trying to stretch my skin apart and stab me at the same time! I know it sounds stupid but it feels that if I stretch too much my skin might rip (I'm aware that won't actually happen!) Hopefully it is him growing...he could do with getting a bit bigger!

Bigfam · 24/10/2016 20:24

Good luck queen thinking of you and baby both Smile

AppleMagic · 24/10/2016 20:24

Baby and going sounds like Braxton Hicks to me!

KitKat1985 · 24/10/2016 20:26

Oh goodness queen good luck. Let us know how you get on. xx

Baby I'm getting a lot of twinges and pulling pains. I guess it's just where all the muscles are stretching. xx

zazie7 · 24/10/2016 20:46

Good luck queen and congratulations Solomon and Steffi!

Baby I'm getting stretching pains too and have noticed a couple of strechmarks appearing in the last few days :( I guess they are doing a lot of growing in a short space of time at this stage.

Haven't been on this thread in a while, but have a bit more time now as have moved internationally and finished work for mat leave. Looking forward to a quieter few weeks to prep for baby's arrival. I'm now 34 weeks and torn between feeling like i can't believe baby will be so soon and have so much to do to get ready and feeling like I can't hack up to 8 more weeks of pregnancy :/

DartmoorDoughnut · 24/10/2016 21:01

Good luck queen Flowers

queenc81 · 24/10/2016 21:03

Thanks ladies, will update when I can xx

Popskipiekin · 24/10/2016 21:21

Ah thank you Londonmama. It really is tricky to keep up energy levels around a toddler and remain calm - am in awe of people on DC3+.
Interesting to hear what people think about buggy boards - I had also thought that I wouldn't be able to control DS1 (who will be 2.2) very well on a board, I doubt he'd get on it willingly if say we had to leave the playground but he wanted to stay. So I plan to use normal single buggy with baby in sling until he's 5/6 months by which time DS1 will be 2.8 and hopefully ok on a board... or I'll reevaluate then anyway!
queen I'm so glad you've had the steroids. Best of luck!!

firawla · 25/10/2016 00:06

queen good luck!!!

Londonmamabychance · 25/10/2016 10:57

Popski I also think I'll try to use a sling with baby, I just really didn't get on with it well with DD, so a bit nervous about relying on it. Planning to get a buggy board soon and start "training" DD on it! Grin this other mum at my nursery has the same age gap, and she said she always just kept her toddler on a scooter! Don't know how she managed that, I'd be a nervous wreck as we live in a very busy area with loads of traffick. Also considering getting a second hand double buggy on the cheap (just accept a quite worn out one) so I have it to hand if I reeally need it, but haven't spend too much on it. firawala thanks for the advice on the out and about nipper! did you like the Phil and Teds? Ther are quite a few going second hand, but some people said to me they had problems with the wheels puncturing frequently, and also that the space for the baby is quite small?

Babydreaming yes, I also had stabbing/stretchingain next to my belly button last week. It felt like maybe it was baby's elbows or head or something pushing. I askd mw and she said it was probably that.

Is anyone else having a stabbing/burning pain just around and above the pubic bone, almost like inside the vagina? I had it like crazy last night, thought maybe it was a UTI and went to GP to have it checkedbut the test came back clear.

MrsJoJo · 25/10/2016 11:00

Waving hello again...

Just caught up after a manic final few weeks at work - I've been able to keep up with the FB page but not this fast moving thread! Congrats to those who have already welcomed their LOs - it's all becoming very real now.

StubbleTurnips · 25/10/2016 11:44

London yes! It can be a sign of SPD, mine keeps clicking and grinding which is causing me a lot of pain at night. It's the muscle in the middle of your pelvis loosening.

All the best pregnancy symptoms in this house Grin

firawla · 25/10/2016 11:50

london yes we had a LOT of punctures with the Phil and teds too. I liked that it fits easily onto buses and in shop aisles but after a while the space did become too small and we had to change it. It's okay for a baby and toddler but not so much for two toddlers

SouthDownsSunshine · 25/10/2016 12:14

I hope everything is going well queen.

How are you and your babies doing notaclue and solomon?

All fine here, feeling much better and less achey after pilates last night. I'm resealing the shower sealant this morning, it's so much harder with a bump! I almost got stuck in the shower cubicle earlier, I couldn't work out how to get up in such a small space!

We aren't going with a double buggy, as dd will be 3 in January. I'm not sure that's totally wise, as we still rely on it a lot. I had figured that by 3 she'd be walking longer distances, but no...and she refuses to scoot up even the slightest hill. We'll have to sling the newborn for as long as we can, so dd can go in the buggy.

Grapefruit8 · 25/10/2016 13:39

London yes!!! That exact feeling! Im convinced baby's head is going to engage early as at my last 3 midwife appointments it's been head down- seeing midwife again tomorrow so we shall see! How is everyone feeling? Anyone else suddenly hit a wall where everything aches and no matter how much you rest it's not enough? Literally feel like I'm wading through treacle in work, everything is so much effort Confused

stripeyorangesocks71 · 25/10/2016 14:12

My energy levels seem to go up and down.. last week I was constantly exhausted and hungry. I appear to have picked up again this week energy wise but my emotions seem to be all over the shot! I'm putting it down to baby's growth spurts for the lack of energy and hunger. No idea about the need to cry about pointless crap yesterday/today.

stripeyorangesocks71 · 25/10/2016 14:18

I splurged on a Skip Hop Duo changing bag yesterday from tk maxx, should have been £60, down to £29.99. Will double up as baby's hospital bag also. Plus I love it Grin
