Can I just say I wish people on the tv would stop drinking wine! It's making me want one!! Wine

Gurtie28 · 14/10/2016 07:07

Lorrie I had just logged in to ask everyone about temperature! Last night I woke up in sweats, not fun!! Not sure if this is just a rise in body temperature because I'm pregnant, or if I am poorly......(I do have a bit of a sore throat this morning)

EsmesBees · 14/10/2016 07:11

I've got a weird temperature thing going on too. Boiling hot for most of the night, and freezing in the evenings. And yes to occasionally hot flushes during the day.

Still got terrible nausea and sickness. My symptoms disappeared overnight last time around 10 weeks so hoping the same happens this time and I've only got a week more of this misery to go.

MissMooMoo · 14/10/2016 08:25

I generally feel freezing all day long, comfortable at night (we have put our heavy duvet on now though)
DH says my body temp has def risen. He always seems shocked when we get into bed and asks if I have had a hot bath because my skin is nice and warm.
I wish I could feel it myself and not feel so bloody cold all day!

lottesuz8 · 14/10/2016 08:59

Hi all, I haven't posted on this new threat yet (but was on the old one). 12 weeks tomorrow, scan date Monday. It's my 1st so all very new/exciting/scary! I just can't wait to see/believe that there is something in there, though my bloating at night makes me look v pregnant already ....

Hope everyone is is progressing nicely :)

lottesuz8 · 14/10/2016 09:03

PS does anyone else do those pelvic exercises? Can any second timers say if that helps with eventual delivery? I know that is still far away but I'd like to prepare if i can...
Still running three times a week and hoping that helps.

newbieho · 14/10/2016 09:21

MissMooMoo, glad to know I'm not the only one that us freezing cold. I am usually hot but for the last week or so I was so cold Confused

WishIWasSleeping · 14/10/2016 09:42

New, Can't really say I noticed a difference with the delivery, I had good and bad days with my pelvic floor, however the first time I sneezed or coughed after delivery has made me concentrate much more second time around! The feeling of being about to let a little bit of pee out isn't nice! Keep them up! Grin

Mustbecrazy123 · 14/10/2016 10:36

Hi all! It was my 12 week scan yesterday, finally been dated and I'm a little ahead due the 28th of April! 12 weeks exactly today. It was so great I was shocked how much of an actual baby it was! Kept wiggling about and moving it's little feet together :) Think it's finally kicked in I'm really pregnant now!

Ah, fab picture Mustbecrazy, how lovely, and so exciting to see it moving around all healthily and happily! Smile

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/10/2016 10:55

I had flushes from before my bfp so was one of my earliest symptoms, every evening for about an hour and some days at other times as well. But I've realised now they've gone, maybe a week or so ago.

It's a weird one, may come and go I guess.

Feeling pretty good today, hungry! 2 people at work have asked me out load this week, in front of other people, if I'm pregnant. The first time I was so stunned I fessed up but said please not to spread it around as it's early days. The second time I was prepared and said no.

But I don't want my team finding out on the grapevine so I've told them, just quietly individually. Feels a bit risky but also nice people know.

Anyway, who the hell asks?! So rude.... I'm not paranoid at all now about my expanding middle and enormous boobs! Shock

newbieho · 14/10/2016 11:09

Mustbecrazy congratulations! Flowers

Streaky17 · 14/10/2016 11:09

I flippantly nearly outed myself yesterday. As a germophobe colleague wanted to move seats away from the guy on lemsip and asked if I was ill. I said she couldn't catch what I had. Grin

No one should ask! I expect to get a few ohh I thought you weres when I start letting people know but its too early for me. Especially if I keep expanding at current rate.

Streaky17 · 14/10/2016 11:12

Great scan pic crazy!

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/10/2016 11:15

It's too early for me too really Streaky, I was planning to wait till the scan to tell anyone at work apart from my line manager. But if the nosy parkers catch you off guard there's naff all you can do. I blushed and mumbled, it was awful! I'm a shit liar.

EsmesBees · 14/10/2016 11:50

Congratulations crazy

Had my booking appointment this morning. All pretty routine. I was glad to see I'd get a new sample pot every time! I didn't get to take my notes though which I'm sure happened last time.

Adventuregame · 14/10/2016 12:23

I think it's really bad of people to just ask ! Everyone knows about the whole 12 week wait so why would you put someone on the spot like that.

I have to say after my mmc last year it made me think twice about questions such as 'Do you want children' !!

MissMooMoo · 14/10/2016 12:28

Thought I might manage to escape actually throwing up but not so! Just puked twice, I felt absolutely fine this morning, tons of energy and I went for a swim!

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 14/10/2016 13:47

I think my MIL worked it out, refusing wine (which never happens) and having three helpings of dinner (I am constantly hungry). She did give me a pointed look but didn't go as far as to ask.

I brazened it out, she probably knows but she'll just have to wait for 12 weeks (not repeating last time when I told her in confidence, then had miscarriage and her neighbour came to say ho sorry she was to hear what happened to me; I didn't say anything at the time but learned my lesson).

ImogenTubbs · 14/10/2016 14:11

Unfortunately I'm going to have to bow out at this point. Had a scan this morning and no heartbeat. Clearly hasn't been growing for a while (should be 9 weeks). Wishing everyone on this thread the very best of luck, good health and wonderful outcomes. Until next time!

Rabbitykins55 · 14/10/2016 14:36

So sorry to hear that Imogen. Flowers
