I've been swimming twice, everyday I take my swimming stuff to work in hope I'll go on my way home. I'm either too hungry or too tired to go. Must try harder!

Mustangsallyis · 11/10/2016 16:37

Adventuregame, yes to bloody Southern Trains. Had to stand up for 1.25hr train ride in feeling slowly more sick as more people crammed in. I left early and am now almost home to collapse onto the sofa.
Hope your journey back is better than the commute in.

mightymouse76 · 11/10/2016 16:39

Rabbit I'm well impressed! As soon as I stop feeling so green I'm going to go…to the kids pool! The olympic 3m deep one I usually swim in seems a bit daunting right now…

Badgerbird · 11/10/2016 16:40

Oh mighty you are making me giggle sorry Grin yes it's scary shit isn't it!!! Im 39 in a coupla weeks and have looked after kids for years but somehow I never knew pregnancy was anything like this?!?! So sorry to hear you've had such a scary experience already too. Thankgod all ok!

If you have a look through we were talking about exercise just yesterday funnily enough. I can cope with walks in the woods and yoga but totally wore myself out yesterday doing both. God I feel useless!!! Confused

Ghostonthedancefloor · 11/10/2016 17:01

Yes to the double belly! I'm definately in that is-she-fat-or-pregnant stage.

Hi mighty! Sorry to hear you've had a scary time, hopefully a smoother 7 months.

Finally just spoke to midwife! Booking in on Thursday at 10+5!

teainbed · 11/10/2016 17:08

Erm well I'm still having tea! Only two cups a day and some decaff.

Mighty that sounds awful, hope things settle down for you.

Glad I'm not the only one with stomach issues! I'm fairly slim usually and it's looks really obvious.

All I've managed exercise wise is walking without being sick or risking fainting but will try for something more energetic when this stage is over.

MissMooMoo · 11/10/2016 20:19

I seem to be back on hot drinks! Although still can not make coffee at home as the smell lingers for too long, but have been having takeaways.

I also have a definite bloat bump, 8+3 and I was hoping it would be ages yet!

Marzipanmodelling · 11/10/2016 20:54

Sorry to hear so many of us still feeling sick Flowers here's to the second trimester just being around the corner where we all bloom, can tell people and the sickness fades!
Just after advice, I've been taking the pregnacare vitamins daily but forgot yesterday and only remembered at 1am so took it then but now wondering if I take another tonight if it'll be too much (2 in 1 day) and if I should miss a day or take another one? Am worried about missing a day before the 12 weeks ..

PeachIcedT · 11/10/2016 21:06

Marzipan, if you took one before bed at 1am first thing this morning, you'll be fine to take another before bed tonight, which will be near enough to 24 hours (if I've read that right)

Marzipanmodelling · 11/10/2016 21:10

Thank you Peach my brain has stopped working properly and I couldn't work it out! That sounds right! Smile
Got my midwife booking appt this week at 10 +3 so hope can get scan booked around the 12 week mark, it's such a long time to wait. Good luck everyone for scans coming soon

talulahbelle · 11/10/2016 21:44

All booked in, scan at 12+1 on 3rd Nov. It's going to be a long wait. I'm a kg down on my usual weight too, thanks nausea. Midwife didn't seem too worried about my odd and restricted diet.

Anyone else get excess saliva? I have a hideous watery mouth, always seems worse in the evenings.

newbieho · 12/10/2016 01:59

Hello all, I'm 10 weeks today with the first baby. Is anyone else fed up with waking up for a wee at night? I am up every night and it's very annoying.

Brightsmoke · 12/10/2016 05:45

talulah I wake up most nights and have dribbled everywhere, that's definitely new!! Haven't noticed an excess in general saliva though.

I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't need to pee all the time ATM! I wake up in the night a lot as I'm uncomfortable, my poor husband!

talulahbelle · 12/10/2016 06:21

newbie I'm up multiple times a night. Luckily the door to the en suite is on my side of the bed.

I've woken up with a hideously snotty itchy nose, wish I could stay in bed but I've got DD to care for.

RasperryInAMelon · 12/10/2016 07:45

#1 for me EDD 25.05.2017 and bricking it already! Haven't had a booking appointment come through from the Midwife yet - when should I hear?

Adventuregame · 12/10/2016 07:49

Talluhla we're the same. My scan is Nov 2nd at 12 wks exact !

So I did it yesterday - I bought maternity tights ! I don't even have a bump but waistband of normal work tights was making me feel sick all the time ! Oh my goodness - so comfy today !!!!

RasperryInAMelon · 12/10/2016 07:52

Adventure where did you get them from?? I'm struggling big time in the same way and have to wear tights and heels 24/7 for work Confused

newbieho · 12/10/2016 08:12

Tallulah thanks for your reply. I am dreading to go multiple times at night (before the baby's birth Smile).

newbieho · 12/10/2016 08:14

I've switched to maternity bras - what a relief! Might start wearing them at night too. My pre-pregnancy boobs were quite small and I feel unusual carrying such an extra weight in my bust. My husband does not complain though! Wink

Adventuregame · 12/10/2016 08:34

Rasperry I got them from Mothercare and there wasn't a great selection to be honest. Could only get 15 denier and really I need them thicker but at least I've got something. I got size large and I'm only 5'5" and slim but they're great. M&S didn't have any in but ones on their website looked good. These were 2 in a pack for £12

Badgerbird · 12/10/2016 08:52

Hi raspberry, welcome, we have the same EDD :) no booking in appointment due me yet either.....

I'm generally only up once in night but hubby says I spend most of it runkling around Confused prob all my super crazy dreams!!

Have a good day everyone Smile

MissMooMoo · 12/10/2016 08:54

raspberry I am due on the 20th and seeing the midwife next friday at 9+6

RasperryInAMelon · 12/10/2016 09:04

Thanks Adventure! I'll take a nosey online today I think... my feet are so swollen by the time I get home with my work shoes, dreading what it's going to be like in 7 months time!...

Badger I'm so eager to get m appointment through and then first scan. Having terrible worries about how I'm going to cope during this pregnancy. It's my first and I've never experienced exhaustion like it!

MissMoo I guess I should get a call any day now then Smile

FoxMulder · 12/10/2016 09:11

My saliva problem is massively contributing to my nausea. It pools in my stomach and makes me sick. The burping is really bad too.

mightymouse76 · 12/10/2016 09:30

Morning all
How are any of you managing to work? I'm part time 2 days a week, self employed the rest. Had Last week off when I had the bad reaction to the anti-nausea, and now trying to manage the sickness without drugs (I.e just feeling hideous all the time)
But I've been up 20 mins and desperately need to lie down again. Due back in work tomorrow. How does anyone do this?

Also is anyone else drinking herbal teas with a bit of cinnamon or liquorice in? I hear bad things but everything else makes me gag.
Yogi Choco tea just about stays down but it's probably contraband
