Thanks guys. It hasn't continued since then, but I have had cramping and low back ache - both miscarriage symptoms. I'm gonna head to self referral EPU this morning for scan. Will keep you updated. x

PeachIcedT · 08/10/2016 07:02

Woken up to no symptoms today ? 8+3
Boobs not sore at all and no sickness. Trying not to panic as I remember boobs stopped hurting before my mmc last year !

FoxMulder · 08/10/2016 10:29

I had a bleed last weekend but my midwife never got back to me! Been feeling too sick and tired to pursue it.

lalaland1985 · 08/10/2016 10:33

Good luck July Flowers

Badgerbird · 08/10/2016 10:42

adventure that must be scary Hun. I can only say that every pregnancy is different though and try to keep your mind well occupied today! Can you call your EPU on Mon if you are still worried or have an early scan?

Adventuregame · 08/10/2016 10:51

I'm thinking I might pay for a scan next week - I've been pretty calm up to now but not sure I can take it much longer.

EsmesBees · 08/10/2016 10:55

It might be worth it if it eases your mind adventure. For what it's worth I found my symptoms fluctuated wildly during my first pg. You may just be having a 'good day'.

Adventuregame · 08/10/2016 11:29

Thanks bees - yes let's hope it's just a good day !

pinkywink · 08/10/2016 11:41

Hi all, first time poster but really anxious this morning, I'm about 11 weeks (scan on Monday) but bleeding when I wipe this morning. 3rd pregnancy but had 2 early mc, this is how they both started too. Is there any hope for me? Planning on taking it easy for weekend, spoke to MW and she said go to out of hours/A +E if bleeding heavier or pain

KJW9716 · 08/10/2016 13:34

I'm so hungry today. I had breakfast then 2 hours later I was overcome by a feeling of extreme hunger and lightheadedness. So I ate again, and now an hour later I feel like I'm hungry again, so I've had a cereal bar. Still feel a bit shaky and hungry! I assume this is all to do with baby? I'm 7 weeks x

MissMooMoo · 08/10/2016 14:28

We had a private scan this morning.
Baby measures exactly 8 weeks and heartbeat was nice and strong.
DH actually believes there is a baby in there now!

Sonnet18 · 08/10/2016 14:42

Lovely news miss moo

JulyLady7 · 08/10/2016 15:34

Hello all,

Thank you so much for all your lovely well wishes this morning.
EPU wouldn't scan me as they weren't doing scans today but recommended that we have one.
DH and I didn't want to wait till tomorrow, so we got a private one this afternoon.
We saw our chubby bean with the heart beating away! No source for the spotting. Sonographer reckons it was break through bleeding where the hormones in charge of the menstrual cycle know it's time for a bleed, so maybe again in 4 weeks until the placenta takes over.
We've been put forward three days as well, so 8 + 2 and new EDD of 18.05.2017!
Soooo happy. Thank you so much for all your lovely support! xxx

EsmesBees · 08/10/2016 16:06

Wonderful news july!

PeachIcedT · 08/10/2016 16:27

July I'm so happy for you! I hope your mind is now at ease, good idea not waiting and just going for the private one. We are still close in due date as I was moved forward at my scan and am now 8+4.

Missmoo I'm pleased you got to see the heart beat, certainly does help to make it feel real. I was nearing pregnancy-denial prior to my scan.

Sonnet18 · 08/10/2016 16:27

Phew! That's brilliant july you'll be so relieved!

Brightsmoke · 08/10/2016 16:44

So relieved for you July, it's so lovely seeing them wriggle on the screen isn't it :)

My husband was the same when I had my early scan Missmoo

I've just come home from shopping all afternoon, I'm so exhausted!! So much to do though still. Has anyone started buying things yet?

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/10/2016 16:47

So happy for you july, what a relief! And how lovely moo, must have been so special to see your little beans.

Hope you're not too worried adventure.

Today I'm mostly white as a sheet and exhausted. Sleeping. A. Lot. My mum had chronic anaemia when pregnant so hoping it's not that as she still talks with horror about the iron injections...

MissMooMoo · 08/10/2016 16:55

july just saw your posts. SO glad to hear everything is ok.
