Gosh Adventure, I can't imagine how difficult that must have been. The odds are definitely in your favour though and this is a totally new pregnancy - which is that I keep telling myself after mc @ 7 weeks in April. Hopefully November rolls round quickly for those scans!

MissMooMoo · 05/10/2016 12:08

anne I somehow missed your last post directed at me,yes I will be about 8 weeks on Saturday so hopefully a nice clear scan.

I woke up this morning with intense cramps, I have no willpower and it felt similar to my mc so I POAS digi stye and it said pregnant 3+, they are gone now so I think it was just wind Blush

Damson9 · 05/10/2016 12:12

Missmoomoo, Deflatine is safe during pregnancy if you're suffering. I was mainlining it a couple of weeks back when I had such awful trapped wind I was in constant pain and so bloated I looked about halfway gone already! Blush

Got my scan a week today, can't wait... time seems to have been on a permanent go-slow since I got my BFP, be so glad to get the scan and then be able to start telling people, my bump is growing daily I think at the moment and it's getting to the point where I won't be able to hide it! Thing is I've always been slim, and a number of the women I work with always comment on how I look after my figure etc etc so I know they will notice soon! My sickness seems to be slowly diminishing now, which is quite nice, and I'm actually taking it as reassuring that the placenta is taking over as it should (I'm 10 weeks now). Hope everyone else is doing well, thinking of those of you having worrying times, I know how hard it is to stay positive when it feels like it's all possibly going wrong, fx for you Flowers

talulahbelle · 05/10/2016 13:00

8 weeks today. I still feel slightly off and totally shattered but nowhere near as sick as I have been. Fingers crossed everything is ok.
Thank god for family too, I've been to my mums for the last two days for her to cook lunch and play with my daughter for an hour.

Brightsmoke · 05/10/2016 13:58

9+2 for me today, and the first time for a while I've plugged the fetal Doppler in, and I can hear my babies heart beating away! Such a lovely reassuring sound! I've been off work at least 1 day every week except one, so I'm feeling quite guilty about that! Luckily, I don't have much to do at work, so the other guy in the office can do my share of work easily.

I'm getting really bad insomnia and constipation ATM, the insomnia is making the nausea worse, it's just a vicious cycle!!

Hope everyone else is doing well. I keep looking at my scan photos and grinning like the Cheshire Cat!!

Rabbitykins55 · 05/10/2016 15:50

Oh my I'm so tired. I just had a wee at work and closed my eyes for a few seconds, actually contemplated staying there for a bit but didn't want everyone thinking I was having a poo! Blush

CinnamonTwist · 05/10/2016 15:53

Brightsmoke what fetal Doppler do you have? I didn't realise you could get home ones, and now I've looked them up I want to get one! But no idea what is any good?

CinnamonTwist · 05/10/2016 15:56

Argh sorry, app told me it hadn't posted so I did it again Hmm

CinnamonTwist · 05/10/2016 16:00

rabbitykins I know what you mean, I did this the other day (felt sleepy and leant my head against the wall in the work loos, whilst sitting on the loo) and accidentally knocked the loo roll holder off the wall with a massive clatter, then in trying to put the little plastic tube back in the holder it pinged back out again and made another massive clatter... I really hope nobody was nearby and overheard, they'd think I was having some kind of meltdown or something!

trinityrabbit · 05/10/2016 16:02

Fingers crossed for you charlie hope you are managing ok.

Still knackered here and work is busy as hell. At least I can work at home a bit too which is better as don't have to feel presentable.

Brightsmoke · 05/10/2016 16:06

Cinnamon I have the angel sounds jumper. It's not the best one, but it gives me piece of mind now I can find the heart beat! I read loads of reviews on loads, but this one was on offer so thought it's worth a gamble

blossom it took a while to find. I angled it in and down. It's a LOT lower than you would think. Aim it almost under your pelvic bone. I can't find it when I don't have an empty bladder. Mine is slightly to the left of centre if that helps?

ICuntSeeYourPoint · 05/10/2016 19:19

Massive hugs to you Charlie. My scan showed exactly the same - a yolk sac but no baby or fetal pole. But I'm not at all sure on my dates so all I can do is wait a week for another scan - got a GP appointment on Friday so will ask then. I feel sick as fuck though tbh, and ridiculously tired, so that's a good sign! Bleugh.

Thanks guys - everyone is so kind. Sorry you're going through the same thing icunt. I don't have any sickness but am still costantly exhausted no matter how much sleep I have, and am still peeing every 5 minutes. Fingers crossed for you for your next scan.

ICuntSeeYourPoint · 05/10/2016 20:26

Thank you. Icunt is fine blossom I love a sweary nickname!

talulahbelle · 05/10/2016 21:07

Sickness (which vanished on Monday) has been building up slightly again this evening. I'm so so tired and crampy feeling I don't know how I'm going to cope with work tomorrow. But (I'm a teacher) if I call in sick I'd have to write and send in cover work anyway. I don't even have the mental stamina to do that.
In bed now, later than 9pm feels like a late night to me right now.

MissMooMoo · 05/10/2016 21:18

charlie I also got a dark pos at 3+4, I know it can't be any earlier than that as DH and I only resumed sex 10 days before my positive, I had really sore boobs for 3-4 days before that, which was what promted me to test. Fingers crossed everything is ok!

ginandcake · 05/10/2016 21:19

Fingers crossed icunt and Charlie, really hope things work out for you.

I'm so tired too Talulah, have really struggled with work this week, 12 hours today was a killer! Can't wait to feel more human again.

Anyone watching the documentary about Downs screening? It's really making me think.
