Anyone else Due June 2017?

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

I hadn't planned to contact docs or mw yet but wasn't docs on Monday for my son and she knew something was up with me so we had a good long chat about it. My referral to mw for booking in has been sent off but I don't think I saw her until I was 10 or 11 weeks last time. No plans to have an early scan at the moment, will see how I go, if I start really panicking then I might change my mind!

haveacupoftea · 29/09/2016 17:36

Todays test...definitely still preggo! Think I can finally settle and believe it now! 5 weeks tomorrow. Had a good sleep from 10pm to 8am last night so not feeling too tired today. However I had vivid dreams last night and a scary one that I checked my cm and found bright red blood Confused

Oooh Lollycake please keep us updated on if you get morning sickness this time or not, I might lay off the dairy produce a bit if it actually works! PeaceLoveAndBiscuits Hope it's not so bad for you this time round!

MrsY I'm thinking about it. You can get one near here from 7 weeks and it's about £70/80, so I might do. I think it'd be reassuring, but I I'll wait til 7 weeks and then see how I feel I suppose.

Purplefairy21 · 29/09/2016 20:30

haveacupoftea i accidently bought the wrong pack of pg tests this morning in my sleep deprived state (thought I'd got a twin pack of digis) turns out it was a digi and a normal cb one. Decided it was less embarrassing to just use it rather than try and swap it. It turned positive before the dye had even reached the control line panel. Shock guess it's the nearest I can ask for reassurance right now.
I'm going to push for an early scan as I have a history of recurrent mc but as I doubt that I'll get more than one before 13 weeks so I'm going to try and find the money to get a private one done as well. I can't help but think the same as last pg is going to happen :( had scan at 9 weeks 2 days later started bleeding, got told I was been silly and over reacting and it ended up been quite traumatic tbh. I knew from very early on that something wasn't quite right with the pg really. Sorry to put a bit of a downer on the thread.
How is everyones evenings?

peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/09/2016 20:43

Can't justify the cost of a private scan here, and luckily haven't ever had a miscarriage so don't feel the need. Will just wait and see what happens.
I'm overweight so my scans are always rubbish quality, anyway Wink

MrsY87 · 30/09/2016 08:11

Purple that's bad you were told you were over-reacting, I really think it depends who who you speak to at the epu, I've had a really mixed experience with them the past few weeks. Hopefully you manage to speak to someone understanding.

Think I'm going to get an early scan about 8 weeks, I'm already driving myself mad that something is going to go wrong and hopefully will help put my mind at rest.

Lolly my last pg I thought I'd had my period took a test just on a whim as I got a very early positive opk and it was positive... Could you just have had a very implantation bleed which you thought was AF and actually be a bit further along than you think?

KirstenRC · 30/09/2016 10:58

Eugh sorry only just seen all these replys!! I'm due June 6th have a scan today as been getting some pains so fingers crossed everything is ok!!!!

LollyCake · 30/09/2016 11:18

MrsY87 Yes I have wondered about that! My last period was a bit weird, although a bit too heavy to be an implantation bleed I think. It's frustrating because last time O was so sure about the dates. I guess I'll just have to wait for a scan.

LollyCake · 30/09/2016 11:19

Good luck for your scan KirstenRC

sleepylil · 30/09/2016 11:34

Thinking of you KirstenRC, hope all goes well Smile

MrsY87 · 30/09/2016 11:41

Hope everything is ok for you Kirsten

KirstenRC · 30/09/2016 12:23

Thanks guys I got checked out at the hospital on Wednesday total blood check hcg levels good and cervix looking good (apparently she was looking for blood) so I'm optimistic will update you all x

peaceloveandbiscuits · 30/09/2016 12:40

I'm having some sharp pains today but trying to ignore them. I know I definitely had pains and weird sensations last time, and I can't be arsed to panic the way I did last time. I know I'm lucky to be able to feel so blasé, but I'm embracing it!

Best wishes for everyone else having concerns.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 30/09/2016 12:41

Is it too early to start a stats spreadsheet?

haveacupoftea · 30/09/2016 12:46

I've been having all kinds of pains! Not as bad as my AF due date but random cramps and pinching all over the place.

Never too early peace go for it Smile

I'm sooo excited to be 5 weeks today - finally feels as if, omg i'm pregnant! I'm going to have a family of my own! Grin

MundayCakes85 · 30/09/2016 22:27

Evening all! Is there room for one more? Got my BFP Tuesday.
This will hopefully be DC 2, due on DH's b'day 8th June!
Getting lots of period type cramps, tiredness, sore nips and occasion attacks of the rage Blush

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 30/09/2016 23:19

Can I join in? Found out yesterday I'm due on 7th June. All being well this will be DC3.
I had a fairly traumatic MC between Dd1 and dd2, so I'll pay for an early scan for reassurance. No chance of one on the NHS here. At least, there wasn't last time, but that was 6 years ago!

themoonandsixpence · 30/09/2016 23:22

Hi everyone I'm due on the 2-Jun-17, had an ectopic pregnancy back in February so we're a bag of nerves at the moment, have my first scan booked for next Thursday....just want time it to be over and done with. Glad to know others are re-checking their hCG levels Smile

themoonandsixpence · 30/09/2016 23:25

Hey Giraffe I got an early scan, it might just depend on the Trust but if you are at risk then see your GP and see if they can arrange for the hospital to see you for a 6 week & 8 week scan. There's no harm in asking.

Purplefairy21 · 01/10/2016 09:12

Think it's fair to say the hormones are increasing here, ended up bursting into tears yesterday because DH got me to reverse into a bay a different way to how I normally do it. Hmm Blush that's definitely a new one. (I passed my test 6 months ago)

Purplefairy21 · 01/10/2016 09:13

Welcome to the new people

KirstenRC · 01/10/2016 09:22

Morning had my scan yesterday only 4 weeks or so, so we only saw the sack, but the midwife said that's normal, I asked her a million questions and everything is in the right place!!!! Another scan booked in for in two weeks time hopefully we will see a little bean in there!!!!! Being looked after well by them it's very reassuring :) hope your all doing well today xx

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 01/10/2016 09:34

Did another pg test this morning hoping to see a really strong line, but it's still quite faint. I did a digi two days ago so at least I know I'm not hallucinating lines, but I wish it would get darker.

haveacupoftea · 01/10/2016 10:04

giraffes mine stayed faint for quite a few days before we could have confidence in our bfp. They also went stronger then fainter then stronger again.

I am having a few stronger symptoms now too. Very tired this morning not due to pregnancy per se but because I was up about 4 times to pee during the night. I had really bad heartburn all night too.

I think when DP sees ms he might finally believe it!

Mooseville · 01/10/2016 10:18

I wouldn't worry too much giraffes I think the strength can vary depending on how hydrated you are etc.... I didn't realise how stressful these first few weeks would be worrying about it sticking around!

I keep trying to only test once a week to try and halt the craziness. Very spotty and a bit achy around back/legs over the last few days....

We're going to book in for an early scan I think at 7 weeks, just to have a look as I'm impatient!
