Anyone else Due June 2017?

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Hi, is it ok to join you ladies?
I got my bfp yesterday - slightly shocked!!
I have 2 teenagers and a 10 yr old.
I think I am due 2nd June.
So far feeling sickly in the mornings and most of the day, not really eaten much for about a week.
Not rung Drs yet but will have to as I'm on medication and I stopped it all when I suspected I may be preg, need to find out what I can take.

Congratulations everyone & hugs to those with losses xxx

haveacupoftea · 28/09/2016 06:36

Welcome mumofthree congratulations on your new addition! we have the same due date! I haven't had any sickness yet.

Fizbo I went to the GP at 4 weeks after 5 days of positive hpts. My BMI is over 30 so I needed 5mg folic acid prescribed asap though.

northernquavers · 28/09/2016 09:44

Hi everyone, hoping I can jump in, had two BFPs and Ovia says I'm due 10 June. Started TTC #1 in April, had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in June. Not even four weeks which is crazily early. Last night was up all night vomiting with diarrhoea not sure if it was a bug or something I ate but feeling v paranoid about effect on tiny little dot inside me. Looking forward to hearing how things are going for all of you.

haveacupoftea · 28/09/2016 13:25

It is nerve wracking waiting for your AF due date isn't it northernquavers. I got my BFP 9 days ago and STILL test everyday!

Last night was my first night of getting up to pee in the night at 4+5 Shock I was up at 12.40 and 5.30. Boobs are a lot less sore this last couple of days though.

MumofthreeandBean · 28/09/2016 14:27

I wake at 5.30 every morning and can't get back to sleep! Weird dreams too!!
Called Drs today about meds I take and he was the first person I told other than dh

peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/09/2016 14:39

I'm on meds too (ADs and hypothyroid), both safe to take in pregnancy, took them when I was having DS, but I do need to make them aware and have my thyroid more tightly controlled. But I'm still in a state of disbelief so will probably wait until after my holiday next week. Also hate having to fight for an appointment Angry

MumofthreeandBean · 28/09/2016 15:37

We can get phone appointments at our surgery, saves time!

Purplefairy21 · 28/09/2016 17:16

Can't wait to get my booking in appointment sorted and get early scan booked. My anxiety will hopefully subside once I get past the daunting first trimester. What is everybody doing about folic acid?

ICuntSeeYourPoint · 28/09/2016 19:14

I started folic acid as soon as I got my bfp.

5 weeks, nearly 6 and I'm majorly breaking out in spots. Keep getting acidy burps too and thinking "what have I eaten? - Oh yeah, I'm pregnant"! Am feeling really tired and bloody starving all the time too.

MumofthreeandBean · 28/09/2016 19:20

I'm not starving I just feel ill all the time!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/09/2016 19:46

Yes you need to start taking folic acid ASAP. You can pick it up in the supermarket.

ICuntSeeYourPoint · 28/09/2016 19:49

I was starving all the time with ds as well - gestational diabetes. I put on 5 stone! Took a year to lose it and much has gone back on since. Bit worried it might be that again.

Can't decide whether I'm feeling a bit sick tonight or whether the dog's farts are just particularly gross this evening, haha.

MacNcheese87 · 28/09/2016 20:53

Hi ladies.
I'm due June 3rd, ish. I'm not sure to go by date of last LMP only or LMP with my longer luteal phase. (3 days difference in dates)

What symptoms are you all having? I haven't really had nausea yet, but my boobs are so sore and I'm pretty bloated! I've probably peed on 20 tests in the week since I got my BFP.

MrsY87 · 29/09/2016 06:47

Cautiously joining. Got my BFP on Sunday, but feeling quite anxious as had a mc at the end of august. This will be DC2 for us, DD is 2 next month. All being well hopefully should be due 6th June.

Not many symptoms yet other than waking up super early and sore boobs although they seem to be less sore than a few days ago. Don't think I had many symptoms this early with DD or before mc so trying not to worry too much....much easier said than done!!

LollyCake · 29/09/2016 09:52

Hi everyone! I just got my BFP this morning and I'm still a little shocked. My EDD is the 20th of June. I already have one DS who will be two next month. He was born premature so I'm terrified of that happening again.

I had a feeling I was pregnant as I had what I thought was implantation bleeding earlier in the week. I've been off my food a bit too!

sleepylil · 29/09/2016 11:25

Know exactly what you mean MrsY, I'm still very nervous and anxious at the mo and trying to not overthink every twinge and symptom or lack of!

MumofthreeandBean · 29/09/2016 11:36

Has anyone booked apt with midwife yet?? Dr told me to wait until next week

ICuntSeeYourPoint · 29/09/2016 12:50

Lollycake are you sure? Doesn't 20th June mean you literally conceived about yesterday?! Congrats anyway!

I don't think we can do the booking in until 8 weeks but it's a long time ago I last went so could be wrong! I'm not even 6 weeks quite yet and still half in denial - I'm having an actual baby! A whole one! LOL.

Definitely feeling gradually a little bit sicker every day. Been reading up, apparently prenatal vitamins with iron in them can make you feel a lot sicker so I'll be avoiding those this time and just sticking to folic acid at least for the first trimester.

Have we got any vegans? The internet says studies show that cultures that mainly eat veg and no animal products don't really suffer from morning sickness!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/09/2016 12:57

I don't eat meat and threw up at least once a day until I gave birth last time Grin

MumofthreeandBean · 29/09/2016 13:32

8 weeks booking in sounds right, I redid my due date and its now 31st may - seems different sites give different dates! I'm around 5 weeks now, feeling sick everyday and headaches too, my 13yr old even commented yesterday about how I'm always ill the last few weeks! Confused

northernquavers · 29/09/2016 15:34

I had a smear test booked for next week which was arranged ages ago, I called the GP to find out what I should do about it and they cancelled it and told me I MUST call the maternity unit to book in with midwives. So I did, but first appointment is not until 9th Nov. At least I got to pick my appointment time but don't see why it couldn't have waited a few weeks.

My only symptom is headaches but that's typical of this day in my usual cycle so praying that's not a bad sign!

MrsY87 · 29/09/2016 15:34

My booking in was really late with DD, like 11 weeks, hoping it will be earlier this time as otherwise it's so long to wait without seeing anyone!

Had the tiniest bit of brown cm earlier which totally freaked me out but trying to stay positive and focus on the fact that it was brown means it's hopefully nothing to worry about...

Anyone planning on having an early scan for reassurance?

MacNcheese87 · 29/09/2016 15:49

I have an early scan booked for 19th October. I can't wait. I'll be 8 weeks by LMP but I suspect really 7 weeks and 4 days. I haven't bothered with the GP yet, I wonder if I can just request a midwife instead?

Tiredness has hit full force today. Think I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. So bloated too!

northernquavers · 29/09/2016 16:19

Not really thought of or looked into early scan. Would be interested to see what others think who have had it done though.

LollyCake · 29/09/2016 16:40

ICuntSeeYourPoint I think I conceived pretty early in my cycle as I'm not due my period until next week. The clearblue digital test said 2-3 weeks. I'll be interested to see what my scan says eventually!

I'm technically vegan. I've been vegetarian for years, then my son was diagnosed with CMPA and an egg allergy. I'm still breastfeeding him so I have to avoid anything that could make him sick. I was only vege last time round and I still got morning sickness.
