Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Hello, is there room for one more?! I got a BFP on Friday and EDD looks to be the 26th June. I've been reading this thread and I feel a long way behind, I guess 3 weeks is a lot at the start of a pregnancy!

I already have a 3yo DS so this will be second baby.

Flowers all round!

SleepForTheWeak · 16/10/2016 07:37

I really wish I would start getting symptoms - I'm getting very anxious and keep having nightmares about miscarrying Sad.

No chance of a private scan where I live - without travelling three hours.

How else would I know everything is ok??

SleepForTheWeak · 16/10/2016 07:39

Forgot to say 5 + 4

Mummy2squish · 16/10/2016 07:48

sleep try not to worry (I know that's easier said than done) with my first I didn't get any symptoms until 6/7 weeks and then I got hit with full force morning sickness.

As I've had spotting already this time I'm trying to be objective about it. Either way there is absolutely nothing you can do so worrying about it is just a waste of your resources when you need to be growing a baby! hugs

And if you could remind me of this in a week or two when I don't have any symptoms and I'm worrying that would be fab! Hmm

Russkispy · 16/10/2016 07:50

Awake again from 3.50 and hardly slept since. My acupuncturist told me not to take melatonin. Early bed and no Tv prior, she said. I'm feeling very gassy and bloated. Peeing and pooing all day long haha sorry, tmi. Boobs are still very sore! And I feel they're changing. It's my first pregnancy and it's all minefeild to me! I don't have mum anymore, nobody to ask/talk really. Would appreciate your advices and support. Thank you!

SleepForTheWeak · 16/10/2016 07:54

Thanks mummy

I didn't have symptoms at all in the first trimester with DD but I don't remember being as worried about it.

It might be because it's baby loss awareness week so I've read a few things recently.

Flowers to anyone who has been through it

Mummy2squish · 16/10/2016 08:00

sleep I know it's been everywhere this week hasn't it? Doesn't help when this is the most worrying time.

I didn't have spotting with my first and although it's stopped now (and wasn't really spotting it was more discharge-tmi) I'm still worrying but trying so hard not to!

Mummy2squish · 16/10/2016 08:02

russ all sounds very positive! Sleep in the first trimester is horrid so just rest when you can.

I try to not watch TV or look at my phone when I go to bed anyway and when I actually behave and don't do it I find I sleep better! Get a good book and snuggle down :) xx

somethinghadtobedone · 16/10/2016 08:16

First day of waking up queasy this morning- it's been exhaustion, vivid dreams and sensitive boobs up til now. Hoping I might do better on the morning sickness this time, especially as I'll be commuting on crowded trains and don't fancy that "I need to get off immediately or I'm going vomit on you madam" moment.

I'm really enjoying having so much support and available info this time round- 14 years ago with DS I didn't know about mumsnet, none of these brilliant apps, it was just me and my Miriam Stoppard book Confused

mrspage1985 · 16/10/2016 08:54

Hi all
The vivid dreams only lasted about a week for me which I was very glad of as they were quite disturbing sometimes

Fingers crossed for you skee xx

ShortLashes · 16/10/2016 08:54

sleep I didn't get any symptoms for ages last time. Perhaps you could take a preg test again in a few days to reassure yourself?

I was very sick last night....3 times. I'd felt nauseous in the day but not sure if being sick was related to that or actually food poisoning, since I had an upset tummy too. It was my turn to get up with DS but DH had to as I have no energy!

haveacupoftea · 16/10/2016 09:01

skee is everything ok?

beanbag19 · 16/10/2016 09:14

Hope you're ok Skee.

Masweetpea1 · 16/10/2016 09:24

short, , i was the same yesterday. Felt dreadful, sick and dodgy tummy. I think it was ms, as i was fine to eat bland food in the evening.

skee, hope you're ok x

Skee · 16/10/2016 09:47

Hello all, thanks so much for the lovely messages. Cramping has eased off a bit, but feeling quite uncomfortable still. (TMI alert) what I felt earlier was quite a lot of CM, not blood thankfully, so I'm still upduffed Grin

Sitting still isn't helping, so I'm going to go for a walk to see if some exercise helps...

It is my first squish, so I feel clueless as to what's 'normal' or worrisome? I was getting used to the pinching and squeezing and slight crampy feelings, but this morning was worse than I normally get with a heavy period?

I'm normally a pretty light-hearted lass and I'm already sick of my own stressy posts, so sorry for the shite chat ladies! 😂 Unfortunately I don't have anyone I can talk to about this irl at the moment, so you're all bearing the brunt of my new found crazy Blush x x

Mommytobe2017 · 16/10/2016 10:03

I've had a really long week at work so I've been in bed for 12 hours!!

If only I slept the whole night. 3 times for a pee. Woke at 5 to 4 starving. Managed to get back off without getting up.

I've been having cramps since before I knew I was pregnant. I didn't think anything of it until I hadn't come on. I knew something wasn't right bcus I get terrible PMT and this time nothing, absolutely nothing.

qate · 16/10/2016 10:19

Total newbie here, got a BFP yesterday so currently around 4+1 (first baby). 31, married about a year - and so tired of all the "aren't you pregnant yet?" questions!

Skee - I am totally with you on the first time thing - so nervous of every twinge and pain at the moment! Baby loss week has probably not done much to settle first week nerves... No symptoms except a nagging headache which I'd normally blitz with paracetamol, but am trying to avoid taking at the moment.

Skee · 16/10/2016 10:31

Welcome qate and congratulations! x x

Sorry that everyone else is suffering from cramps and sleeplessness too, I'm thankful I'm not suffering from nausea! Hugs to those that are x

Hunger has full on started now. Despite eating a curry with rice at 8pm last night I ate half a pack of biscuits and a bag of crisps at 10pm. Woke up first thing and starving hungry. Nearly had a breakdown when we had no bread so made do with a yoghurt and having lunch at 12 rather than 2pm like normal. Considering I don't eat breakfast normally I don't really know what to do with myself. Think that will be changing!

haveacupoftea · 16/10/2016 10:45

Glad everythings ok skee. Maybe it was just gas or constipation cramps.

Is it just me or does time move so slowly in early pregnancy Confused

No symtoms today except sore boobs Confused

Not feeling sick today thank goodness! Just had a nice brekkie with dh. Off to stand in a field in the rain and watch dc2 play football - oh the joy!!

Told my sister last night, she was surprised but happy for us, luckily she still has my Moses basket so I have one item for this little bean!!

Midwife on Thursday, time is dragging!!

qate · 16/10/2016 10:50

Start of the ridiculous questions... I'm temporarily overseas and won't be back for at least a few months so will be starting antenatal care out here. Realistically (from your experience, those who have children or have already started the process this time), when should I start making an appointment to meet with the doctor? Now feels far too early, but NHS says first contact with doctor/midwife as early as possible, then booking in 8-12 weeks.
