Anyone else Due June 2017?

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Masweetpea1 · 09/10/2016 18:39

Hi all,
Welcome newbies! Radio silence this weekend as was in jersey for a very sober christening . Our flight was delayed 2 hours, imagine being in the airport delayed with morning sickness, bleurghhhh!!

Great weekend but thank God we're home . I'm exhausted!
x

Mooseville · 09/10/2016 18:46

Brill news moonlight so pleased with you! Enjoy your holiday!

Been out for my first sober day out here - to a bottomless Prosecco brunch of all things! But it was enjoyable, nobody even really cared why I was t drinking! Although they weren't close friends of mine, just DP's and their friends so I kinda got away with it!!!

MundayCakes85 · 09/10/2016 18:57

Great news moon enjoy your break!
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend, I'I getting ready for work, again! Not looking forward to it.

Mumrahhhh · 09/10/2016 19:28

Super news moonlight

Thanks for the update vegan I think if I start off again slowly I should be ok.

I'm sooooo bloated today I already look about 3 months pregnant!!

Anyone wother older kids, when do you/will you share your news? I have a 5 yr old ds who is a proper mummy's boy, but likes to play rough (we were wrestling today) so feel like I need to tell him but don't want any one else to know and feel bad for burdening with that sort of secret!! Plus having to explain if something happens???

HelloMist · 09/10/2016 19:29

Mumof3: I thought it would work just on the web but my Android phone only let me view it. I had to use the Sheets app to edit. (I think that was already on my phone). It should be OK on a PC without needing software.

Posting the link again if someone missed it:

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mdxF2QcjcXobnuxXwd8uqYfq0_wE26F6rDcRAxAecxQ/edit?usp=sharing

Hopefully it should help us keep track of names and who's at what stage.

Welcome Sleep, MacandCheese, Kitty!

Such good news, Moonlight! Smile Hope the holiday is lovely.

Goingmadttc · 09/10/2016 19:45

Moose, hats off to you surviving a bottomless brunch! I just got back from my lovely (albeit sober) holiday and not looking forward to being back at work tomorrow on the 7am train! Still no symptoms really which still really worries me! Wonder if they will hit this week as I get nearer the 6 week mark.. although being sick on the train wouldn't be ideal!

Skee · 09/10/2016 20:49

That's a great idea Mist, I have no idea if I've actually managed to complete it so that others can see it right enough GrinConfused

peaceloveandbiscuits · 09/10/2016 20:52

Going I see you're also in Surrey. Whereabouts? I'm in Woking and will give birth at St Peter's.

Goingmadttc · 09/10/2016 20:57

Hi Peace, you're not far from me! I'm nearer to Guildford so I would think I will be at the Royal Surrey.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 09/10/2016 21:00

That's great, we can have play dates when the sprogs are here Grin I'm about halfway between St Peters and Royal Surrey but went to SP last time.

KittyVonCatsington · 09/10/2016 21:02

Mumrahhhh Could you maybe wait until your scan, so you have a photo to show? I think I might to that. Hat and buy a book about a baby brother or sister and broach it that way!

Goingmadttc · 09/10/2016 21:04

Ah, great, hooray to play dates!

Joy388 · 09/10/2016 21:06

Hi All,

Is it ok if I join? I got my first ever BFP last Thursday and I'm so so happy Smile. But I'm also really worried, it's amazing how quickly the excitement turns into worry! I only stopped taking the pill a month ago and I'm hoping that doesn't increase risks. Have any of you been in the same situation?

4+2

peaceloveandbiscuits · 09/10/2016 21:08

Although I will have a toddler with me as well, who may well frighten the life out of you. I remember when I took him to baby groups as a tiny dot and was horrified at the monstrous toddlers running around GrinBlush surely he'd never turn into one of those?!

Goingmadttc · 09/10/2016 21:19

Ha ha Peace, don't worry I have lots of friends with kids so not scared of toddlers though gosh they are hard work! Welcome Joy! I know it is such a worrying time isn't it? I would say I am 10% excited and 90% worried about something going wrong! We have been trying quite a long time so I was so happy to get my BFP. I haven't heard anything about there being risks re only just having come off the pill. I think they only advise you to have a break so your periods get into a routine again to make dating easier. But scans can help with dating so I don't think that matters at all. I know someone who got pregnant actually on the pill and her son now a very healthy 14 year old! Don't think it matters at all so don't worry.

Goingmadttc · 09/10/2016 21:21

5+5 ( sorry keep forgetting)

Skee · 09/10/2016 21:22

Hello Joy - congratulations! I had my first bfp on Friday - it was a complete surprise!

I stopped taking the pill a year ago in preparation, so I can't relate in that respect - but my elation has quickly turned to worry, so I can sympathise!

Yesterday I was worrying about all the cramping and pinching I'd been feeling for days, but today it's stopped, so naturally I'm worried about that too Blush

I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow, according to My Calendar...

annakd1234 · 09/10/2016 21:32

Joy I'd literally just come off the pill too before this, came off and we were planning on seeing what happened, never dreamt we'd conceive first cycle, really pleased obviously but was such a surprise!

I feel like a bag of nerves, every little twinge I get I think 'it's an ectopic', but maybe I'm just being overly sensitive, if I wasn't pregnant and got a twinge like this I wouldn't think twice.

I've booked a private scan 2 weeks on Tuesday so hopefully that'll reassure me and make it all seem more real!

KittyVonCatsington · 09/10/2016 21:56

The early stages of pregnancy are full of stabbing pains, pinches, period pain, sickness, cramps, constant peeing, fatigue and also nothingness! I'd forgotten it all until today! Grin

HelloMist · 09/10/2016 22:25

Skee, I'm 5w on Thursday and have had a few pinching pains and cramps in the last week. Not for a day or 2 now though. It did worry me as I didn't remember having similar so early in my last pregnancy but I've since been reading it is common! As long as no bleeding (and not really severe.) Sounds like a few of us are getting them. Also I do see you on the spreadsheet isn't and correct Smile

Wondering about the flu jab. As someone said here, best to get early in the season (NHS site says this month or early next). I wasn't planning to tell my GP yet or get a booking appointment as I think my clinic's advice is do those after their early scan. Will GP do a jab without me making appointment to tell them? Some of my local pharmacies offer them but I assume I need an exemption card to get it free. (So after booking in with MW).

Skee · 09/10/2016 22:46

Reading about everyone else's experiences and symptoms is so reassuring Mist - thanks for putting my mind at ease Smile

Mummyh2016 · 09/10/2016 23:00

Can I join please Grin

Got my first BFP last night, 4+2 based on last period. EDD of 16th June, 2 days after DPs birthday and 7 days before mine Smile

ThisLittlePiggyHadRoastBeef · 09/10/2016 23:06

Place marking!

Got a PFB yesterday :). Will be due 14th June 2017.

My DD turns 2 in a couple weeks.

This wasn't exactly planned but DH and I are both extremely happy :)
