Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

I'm a bit of a bastard at the moment because I'm so bloody shattered. DS isn't sleeping and I'm SO TIRED. I'm wishing the early weeks away so I can have some energy back.

haveacupoftea · 05/10/2016 20:43

Hope you feel better soon sweetpea. I do think a lot of it is tiredness. I am not sleeping more than usual really but am very tired. And not being able to have a glass of wine to relax!!

themoonandsixpence · 06/10/2016 07:05

I'm 5+6 today and have my first scan in a few hours, just nervous as hell as to what I will see or won't see. It's all I was dreaming off last night....in my dream we ended up in the wrong department and they were wanting to give me an X-Ray it woke me up that I had to check on my calendar invite I had written down the exact location.

Also turns out I booked myself a midwife appointment for tomorrow (6 week point) but had forgotten about it.

I have to say I am usually so on the ball with appointments and meetings but these past few weeks my memory has really been letting me down. I don't know I have and haven't done.

Masweetpea1 · 06/10/2016 07:37

Good luck today moon.

I had said earlier this week that i wouldn't get an early scan (they're £100 round here), but I'm not sure i can wait Blush so i think I'm going to book one for 8 weeks.

Goingmadttc · 06/10/2016 07:55

Hope all goes well Moon. sweet pea all the scans I could find was over £100 too but then I found one that was £75 but it's in Cranleigh so not sure if that's anywhere near you. I feel nervous every day too, feeling sure this preg will end like my previous ones (CPs) but each day that I wake up and it still seems to be ok I am feeling more and more hopeful. DH and I can't talk about it without touching wood for fear of jinxing things! Still no symptoms! 5+2 today.

haveacupoftea · 06/10/2016 08:25

Good luck moon hope it all goes well

Mooseville · 06/10/2016 08:35

Good Luck moon

Threw up for the first time this morning... feel strangely relieved! Blush Where the hell does all that saliva come from??? Another new thing joins tells you about!!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 06/10/2016 08:58

For me the constant nausea is worse than actually vomiting, though neither are pleasant!

Goingmadttc · 06/10/2016 08:58

Hooray Moose, that's a good sign!!

themoonandsixpence · 06/10/2016 10:38

Thanks everyone it went so well. I had drunk so much water that my bladder was so full that they had to use an internal probe once I had peeded. The scan was so clear and we could see the baby's heart beat going like crazy (which rest assured is a good sign). So thankful this bean had embedded itself in the right place, I was getting anxious over the lack of morning sickness. DH is so relieved, it's finally hit him.

Now I have to wait another 6 weeks until the 12 week scan....time machine please

themoonandsixpence · 06/10/2016 10:40

Goingmadttc we we're just where you are a few hours ago. I hope it goes well for you.

Dontstepinthecowpat · 06/10/2016 11:01

That's amazing moon that they can see something there so early on, I might have a private scan. We have never had one before twelve weeks before (except with miscarriage) but this time I really want some reassurance. Also morbidly the 12 weeks scan will be due around Christmas so if things didn't work out I would rather know a bit earlier.

I don't know if anyone else here is due DC4 but I feel that I look pregnant already, I know the bloating is to be expected but my boobs are enormous and my jeans are really tight. I am just heading into town now to look for big jumpers to keep my warm as my jacket won't zip up over by boobs Blush

Mooseville · 06/10/2016 11:07

Great news moon How exciting!!!!

Goingmadttc · 06/10/2016 11:43

Moon that's such great news!! I didn't know they could do scans so early, that's amazing! Maybe I will call them and see if I can schedule one for 6 weeks rather than 7!

haveacupoftea · 06/10/2016 12:28

No morning sickness yet! Still just sore boobs and heartburn. This morning I shouted at the dog and cried the whole way to work Blush I am going to have to stop on the way home and get the poor thing an extra treat Biscuit

MundayCakes85 · 06/10/2016 12:36

Great news moon I bet it was lovely to see that little heartbeat Grin
I will be waiting until the 12 week scan as I can't afford an early one. Booking in with midwife 1st November so I'll probably tell my Mum after that.

Purplefairy21 · 06/10/2016 12:51

Great news moon Cake
haveacupoftea I'm sure the dog will forgive you when you get home
Other than sore boobs, the sudden urge to pee and feeling a bit hangoverish nothing really going on symptoms wise. Im actually wishing for proper morning sickness Hmm as reassurance that pg is going ok. I should be careful what I wish for lol Grin

MoonlightMojitos · 06/10/2016 13:18

Congrats on the scan moon!

going they generally say to wait until 7/8 weeks because it's a lot more likely to be able to pick up the heartbeat whereas sometimes they can't at 6 weeks but it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong so can cause unnecessary worry.

NappingRabbit · 06/10/2016 13:30

Great news moon!

I am experiencing far too much saliva and mild nausea on and off, all v manageable so far but very early days.

Can I suggest we add our gestation to the bottom of our posts now and then to make it easier to keep up with where everyone is?

4+1

Goingmadttc · 06/10/2016 14:30

Good idea Napping.
Thanks Moonlight, that would stress me out if they couldn't find a heartbeat if I went too early. I will try to wait then til 2 weeks on sat when I will be 7+4.

5+2

BoBo90 · 06/10/2016 15:06

Congrats moon! That must have been amazing seeing baby's heart 😍
I've been to gp, got my pg pack and been referred to midwife and for an early dating scan! Just have to try to be patient and wait for appointments to arrive in the post 😁 My only symptom is tender and larger boobs the buggers are already big enough 😩

5+3 (maybe)

VeganMama83 · 06/10/2016 15:24

Congrats moon, fab news and I can imagine the relief you must be feeling!

No real symptoms here other than the spotty skin and a tiny bit of bloating!

Will book the early scan on payday and try to have it about 7/8 weeks (so end of month)

4+2

VeganMama83 · 06/10/2016 15:27

Oh and filled in referral form at GP for midwife so will hopefully have booking in 9 weeks ish (seems an age away since I got the bfp so early!)

Happy to see it's the midwife I had for my second pregnancy too, she was lovely and really helpful with bf.

MrsY87 · 06/10/2016 17:44

Have had some brown spotting today when I wipe so really worried that this pg also isn't meant to be. I know that brown isn't necessarily bad but having only had a mc in Aug I'm really struggling to be positive. Sad

5+2 (based on opk)

Goingmadttc · 06/10/2016 17:51

Oh no Mrs, I really hope it is all ok for you. Everything online says brown is good and much better than red. My friend has quite a lot of actual blood at 8 weeks but had an early scan and all was fine and her little boy now happy and healthy 18 months. So sometimes it can all be fine. I know how scared you must be though as I had three early losses this year, but never made it as far as 5 weeks. Hope all is ok for you and thinking of you; try to stay calm and positive if you can.
