sarahhh1984 · 24/09/2016 20:46

Just found the new thread so saving my place.

AnnaKateNZ · 25/09/2016 04:59

Yay so exciting seeing all the scan pics! I have mine first thing tomorrow. I can't believe it is finally here. Excited but nervous as well!

TopKittyKat · 25/09/2016 07:14

Marmite - I can't believe that doctor. How awful!

I can't wait for my scan. Another week to wait.

I'm suffering with a constant headache at the moment. From the minute I wake up to the minute I go to bed. If it's not sickness, it's headaches. Oh to feel normal again!

AnnaKateNZ · 25/09/2016 07:43

topkittykat I've had bad headaches this week too. Horrible isn't it? Happy one week countdown to your scan, I hope it doesn't go too slowly for you

MumiTravels · 25/09/2016 08:37

Arghh. Anyone want to adopt a husband. He's tossed and turned all night, up down up down, evertime he rolled over or got up he woke me up. Then got cross when I asked him to sleep elsewhere at 4.30. Then some f*** started mowing their lawn at 7am.

He's completely ignoring the fact that I'm pregnant. I've been really good up until now but I've been absolutely shattered this week and really need more sleep than usual. I've been told I'm not being a team player this morning as I asked if i could come back to bed for a hour. He's not speaking to me now.

Helbelle75 · 25/09/2016 09:40

Mowing the lawn at 7am?! Blooming heck mumi i'd have gone and. As for DH - think he needs a good talking to.
Sorry for those with headaches - can you use those cooling strips?
I'm utterly exhausted this week. Fortunately my DH is an absolute treasure/ very well trained, so he's been doing the cooking and generally being ace.
Got myself a pregnancy pillow from groupon - the best thing ever!

onecrazycook · 25/09/2016 09:41

Oh gosh. The brown spotting is back. Well, it's more like a tinged discharge really. Anyone else had this or is it time to worry? It really is a tiny amount

Helbelle75 · 25/09/2016 10:25

I think nothing to worry about. If it becomes red and lots of it, get it checked out.
Hope that's all there is one and you can relax.

TopKittyKat · 25/09/2016 10:30

Hi onecrazycook - I have had spotting and lots of brown and pink bleeding throughout this first tri. I've had two scans and all is fine and I was just told that some women bleed.
I know it's hard not to worry, but the chances are, it will be fine. If it gets worse or you're really worried, maybe ask for a scan.

Thanks for the advice on the headaches. I've been using a gel eye mask that you can chill in the fridge that gives me some relief. I've also used the 4head stick that you put on your forehead. It never goes completely but they help a bit.

Helbelle75 · 25/09/2016 10:35

I used to get regular headaches and had acupuncture for them and they've not really happened since. It's a bit drastic, but worked!

Celen · 25/09/2016 10:36

Have you still got your symptoms onecrazycook? If not, then I'd phone for a scan. If you've still got symptoms, then could be a number of reasons why it's there - but agree with TopKitty, if you're really worried, call either way x

onecrazycook · 25/09/2016 10:36

TopKittyKat have you tried the trick of putting a vag of frozen peas on the back of your neck whilst having your hands and feet in a bowl of hot water? Works for me, even if I do feel like a prick.

Thanks for the reassurance, guys. Will keep monitoring the situation (obsessively)

onecrazycook · 25/09/2016 10:38

OMG!

A BAG of frozen peas, not a VAG! Jesus- that's a whole different thread

Celen · 25/09/2016 10:55

Grin Vag of frozen peas !!! Excellent next username Wink

MumiTravels · 25/09/2016 11:54

I'm a bleeder too. Ring the community midwives onecrazycook they are around over the weekends. Someone will be on call. Whatever you're into with your frozen peas, we won't judge even though filling your vag with frozen peas is very odd indeed

onecrazycook · 25/09/2016 12:33

My nipples are still pretty sore and I've just nearly thrown up in Aldi, so symptoms still there (I've hardly had any sickness at all though, I might add). I just some to my fiend who is a MW assistant and she says if it's brown, very, very unlikely to be anything to be concerned about, but if it changes to call in. I think I might call tomorrow if it continues

TopKittyKat · 25/09/2016 13:28

I might try the bag of frozen peas not sure about the vag though, although I'm almost willing to try anything!

That's good that you still have symptoms.

finova · 25/09/2016 13:36

Just ordered some maternity clothes!
I'd got rid of all my previous ones (bought 7 years ago and had done 2 pregnancies).
Where are you getting yours?

Theknittinggorilla · 25/09/2016 14:15

onecrazycook I haven't had any Bleeding but my midwife told me any bleeding to call (though I'm rhesus negative so not sure if that's why). Sounds like it's really common but if you can get some reassurance might be worth calling in, I think I would.
I'm also suffering from headaches am sure caused by dehydration. Trying to drink more water but don't fancy it as feel so sick.

In a happier note I had my serenity scan yesterday and there is definitely a wriggly baby in there (and just one, phew!). They couldn't do blood test as reckoned I was a bit earlier than 10 weeks so have to go back Thursday. I've decided to ignore their new date though, am not losing three days! Will wait until nhs scan I think.

Have decided to hold off on telling 3 year old Until we have blood results and 12 week scan, might as well delay the constant questioning of when is baby coming!

finova I found top shop and H&M the best last time but most of the good stuff doesn't seem to make it outside London! They seem to only have limited collections in stores in the north Angry

Niks2026 · 25/09/2016 14:34

I am so absolutely fed up with this nausea!! I'm starving hungry but don't want anything to eat. Anything I fancy makes my stomach churn when I actually eat it. And I'm so hungry the nausea is worse! It's like one big bludy circle! And the tiredness has seriously hit. The last 3/4 days I have been beyond useless.
On a more positive note, I have a private dating scan tomorrow evening. Cannot wait to see a little wriggly bubba. Will make all the awful pregnancy symptoms worth it!

SharkBastard · 25/09/2016 14:48

I'm 100% with you about the nausea...not sure how much longer I can cope feeling this terrible! 10 weeks today and still throwing up bile in the morning and feeling on the brink of vomiting all day!

And the thirst!!!! It's that hangover thirst, the kind that never gets quenched and the more water I drink the more sick I feel!

And the tiredness?! Good God!

Gonna try and nap to get a break from the nausea

Mummymulb16 · 25/09/2016 16:29

Ladies feeling tired and nauseous hang in there it does get better in the second trimester I feel so much better still sick every evening but mainly do to heartburn and indigestion ! It really does get better week 12-14 it's like a switch Smile

Celen · 25/09/2016 17:04

I look forward to that Mummymulb, I'm 13+1 and so over the nausea Envy

Celen · 25/09/2016 17:06

Might not be around the next week as we're off to Centre Parcs til Friday - can't wait to get away even though I can't drink (although no desire to either) and we're taking the 3 year old Wink
