One I am so so sorry, look after yourself.

Thanks so much for thinking of me everyone. I haven't had any more bleeding since last night, few teeny little niggly cramps but no more than normal. After 20 phone calls I got through to midwife who will call me back. I didn't call EPU as I've had such bad experiences with them, during this pregnancy they have told me I was miscarrying and to take pain killers when I wasn't! I'm hoping because I've had no bleeding today it's all ok.

Lovely scan picture Sarah!

TopKittyKat · 12/10/2016 19:29

Jpeg - I'm glad the bleeding has stopped. Make sure you get lots of rest.

Celen - maybe I'm not imagining it then! Does the feeling just gradually get stronger?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 12/10/2016 19:38

jpeg glad to hear the bleeding has stopped. Such a worry!

I managed all of 3 hours at work today before admitting defeat. Went to GP as worried I had flu. They think just a virus. Was severely dehydrated though and ketones were through the roof so they've prescribed some antiemetics. Though not taken any yet and have managed to keep a couple of large glasses of water down so hoping won't be needed.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 12/10/2016 19:41

I am currently hiding in bedroom whilst DH puts DS to bed (he will generally settle fine for DH, all hell breaks lose when I get involved). DS is running a 39C fever again after being right-as-rain yesterday. Praying for a peaceful night!

JennyOfOldstones · 12/10/2016 20:26

So sorry to hear that one

BinglyBinglyBeep · 12/10/2016 20:53

I'm so sorry One.

Jpeg glad things are sounding a little better with you.

Celen · 13/10/2016 08:20

Argh Bubbins what bad timing for your ds to be poorly too but glad you went home. Rest today missus if you can? If ds is home, can you have a tv & blanket day? Don't be a hero with the medication x

TopKitty I can't really remember but I think the feeling came more often, then you start to get poked from the inside as the baby grows Grin

MrsRhubarb · 13/10/2016 10:26

One I'm really sorry, be kind to yourself

Hope everything is okay Jpeg

Full of plague in the Rhubarb house, honey and lemon is just not cutting it. Added a dash of whiskey last night, and I slept much better than the last few still propped up on about a thousand pillows though Hope baby won't mind a little medicinal use of alcohol. Luckily DD is happy to be distracted with a little Cbeebies and her birthday presents - pirate ship and doctors bag have been the ultimate three year old gifts here.

Recommendations for good maternity jeans?! All my old maternity ones are boot cut/flare jeans which seem really untrendy now Blush

Bought some ok straight ones from ASDA but they all seem over bump which I don't like. Bought some jeggings from New Look which look nice but I'm constantly pulling up over my bum. So annoying Hmm
Why is it so hard to find under bump skinny jeans that, you know, fit properly?! Confused

Bubbinsmakesthree · 13/10/2016 10:34

Thanks Celen - fortunately DS was fine again this morning so off to the childminders! I am just firing off some work emails delegating everything urgent and will then be crawling back under my duvet! Managing to keep liquids down at least now - currently experimenting with eating dry cheerios one-at-a-time to see if my stomach will take it! The antiemetics i'be been given need to be taken at night so if I've not managed to keep food down today will give them a go.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 13/10/2016 10:39

Oh and MrsRhubarb hope you feel better soon!

Celen - maternity jeans that don't stay up are so annoying! I mostly found over-bump styles stayed in place better, but I think I got some decent underbump jeans from H&M last time (theit standard length is really long, which is great for me, might be less so for others).

marmitecheesetoast · 13/10/2016 10:57

Nausea seems to have made an unwelcome and unexpected reappearance here this morning Envy and i am on day 4 of headache Sad it is a bit better today though. DH gave me a nice head massage last night!

Hope you feel better soon Rhubarb and bubbins. Sounds like great bday presents Rhubarb!

Jumping on the maternity clothes recommendations has anyone bought any maternity tights yet and how have they found them?

Celen · 13/10/2016 12:07

What size are you marmite? When I was pregnant with ds, I worked in an office. I used to buy next size up tights then cut the elastic at the top for added stretch! Worked ok until I got really round Grin

choccybiscuit · 13/10/2016 12:10

I'm having problems myself with finding a decent pair of maternity jeans. I bought some jeans and jogging from next both over the bump, kept the jogging but the jeans were a terrible fit so sent them back. Went to h&m and tried some over the bump ones skinny maternity jeans in my usual size, they came up really small, so tried next size up, still too small so I've given up! Confused

choccybiscuit · 13/10/2016 12:10

That should say jeggings

marmitecheesetoast · 13/10/2016 12:30

Sounds interesting Celen where exactly and how far do you cut? Pre-pregnancy size 10 normally buy medium size tights for right lenth so guess could I easily just try buying Large.

choccy I have loads of pre-pregnancy h&m jeans, have always found them small in size and always end up with a larger size than normal! Sounds like maternity stuff is just the same!
