Oh no Mumi that does not sound fun at all! It definitely sounds like your immune system is taking a hit.

I hope that scan takes your mind off it. Good luck!

Prive120 · 10/10/2016 20:54

mumi I have that same reaction on my hands. How weird! It started off as just being dry patches but is now fracked and sore. Wonder what it is?

Good luck with your scan tomorrow

MumiTravels · 10/10/2016 21:58

Mine's from the soap at work. My allergies are heightened at the moment so it's just a reaction I think.

I'll get some steriod cream tomorrow to try.

SussexTeacher · 10/10/2016 22:02

Hope all you ladies are doing well! Sorry I haven't been on here much as been using the Facebook group a bit more.

Haven't had time to catch up on all the posts but I'll try and do that.

So lovely that everyone is now having scans and finding out the gender. I'm waiting for the NHS scan to find our gender, can't wait x

abeandhalo · 11/10/2016 06:54

Frequent E45 is helping the itching, it's mostly on my back and legs, haven't had it on my hands so far!

We have become really confident that ours is a boy, I will be really surprised if they say it's a girl at our sex scan!

Celen · 11/10/2016 07:09

Mumi I've got weird red rash marks all up my legs and sometimes my face feels like it's on fire Sad I'm going to the gps next week to see if I can get something on prescription.

abe I'm the opposite - convinced it's a girl so will faint if they tell me it's a boy! Grin

marmitecheesetoast · 11/10/2016 09:50

Congrats Scandi big day how exciting! We'll have to start a list of team blue/pink/vanilla!
We're going to keep it as a surprise...but I can imagine I'll be really tempted to find out!

Just been for flu jab so got a bit of extra lie in this morning before work which is always good! Also, I am wearing maternity dress for the first time!! It's a lovely Asos floral tea dress. It's one of those ones that such of grows with you so is quite loose and floaty at the moment with plenty of room for bump expansion! So still not quite flaunting the bump...!

My eczema has been driving me insane it's so sore but can't put any of the 'good' cream in it and nothing seems to be calming it down

Theknittinggorilla · 11/10/2016 10:27

We are not finding out - had a moment of temptation when they phoned with serenity results and asked if we wanted to know (at 10 weeks!).

I am convinced it's going to be a third boy - might be joining you in being completely outnumbered scandi! Genuinely don't mind either way, girl would be nice for a change but quite like the idea of 3 boys!

sarahhh1984 · 11/10/2016 10:52

Congratulations, Scandi!

We're not finding out either, marmite and gorilla. Sure I'll be tempted when they ask but I know DH and I would both rather find out when they're born.

I have my flu jab on Thursday. Rang this morning and doctor said I could come in today if I wanted but I have my scan tomorrow so wanted to put it off. I know vaccinations can sometimes make you feel a bit grotty and I want to be as top notch as I can be tomorrow!

Theknittinggorilla · 11/10/2016 11:00

Good luck with the scan tomorrow sarahhhh, mine is Thursday and feel like I'm the last one!
Had to tell my team at work yesterday, had planned to wait to scan but rumours had started flying and didn't want them to find out from someone else.
So feeling relieved that they know and I can relax a bit, but even more nervous about the scan as feel like I have tempted fate a bit. Roll on Thursday. Really looking forward to telling my nearly 4 year old too!

SharkBastard · 11/10/2016 12:27

Baby in situ, waving and measuring a week ahead...although I know I'm 12+2, so guess it'll be a big one again!

Phew, can relax a bit!

MumiTravels · 11/10/2016 14:29

A stubborn baby here but eventually got the measurements. EDD is 20/4/17 now. So 12 + 5.

The monkey rolled over as if to say I'm sleeping go away Grin

Lovely scans shark and mumi

jpeg28 · 11/10/2016 18:25

Lovely scans Shark and Mumi!

I'm having pizza and chips for dinner... I know it's bad... I don't have the energy to cook proper food!!

Hope everyone's ok.

RaRa25 · 11/10/2016 18:44

Lovely scans ladies.
I could only be bothered to heat up a tin of tomatoe soup for tea!

jpeg28 · 11/10/2016 18:47

Also... I've just been the the loo and I've started bleeding. I'm 13 weeks today and I'm petrified. Don't know what to do.

SharkBastard · 11/10/2016 19:16

Is it red? Spotting or heavy? Can you call EPU? Or is it midwife now?

jpeg28 · 11/10/2016 19:22

It's pink, sort of diluted if that makes sense. EPU isn't self referral and midwife opens at 9. I'm in bed now and think I'll just stay here until the morning. If it's bad in the morning I'll try and get an appointment

Celen · 11/10/2016 19:31

Oh jpeg that is a worry - did you have bleeding earlier on in your pregnancy?

jpeg28 · 11/10/2016 19:38

Yes had lots of brown bleeding up to 8 weeks. Have had so many scans including the nuchal on Thursday which was completely fine.
I'm trying to tell myself everything is ok.

TopKittyKat · 11/10/2016 21:48

Oh no jpeg That must be such a worry. Stay tucked up in bed. I hope it goes by morning and turns out to be nothing. Good luck!

Congrats to you ladies who have had scans. It's wonderful seeing the baby wriggling on screen. I could have watched for hours!

everdene · 11/10/2016 21:55

Hi all, I feel really stupid.

My SIL gave me an Angelsounds Doppler and I've tried it but can't find a heartbeat and now I'm worried.

I was sitting down and used the gel but I could only find a whooshing sound. Has anyone else tried one?

RaRa25 · 11/10/2016 21:56

Oh jpeg you must be worried sick. I'm sure it will be ok, especially with having your most recent scan. Try to get some rest.

everdene · 11/10/2016 21:56

Beautiful scans Shark and Mumi!

choccybiscuit · 11/10/2016 21:57

Sounds similar to the type of bleeding I had jpeg . Mine stopped after a few day but it kept coming back every week. This is the longest period of time I've not had it and it's been 2 weeks since the last lot. Baby is fine. If it's still there tomorrow morning give epu a call. Hope it goes soon.
