Nobody seemed to want to say anything until I have the next scan as they are so uncertain. Just to be prepared for the worst

Wow one! I have a friend who is a result of a one in a billion pregnancy/birth. His mum was already 2 months pregnant but ovulated again and that egg got fertilised too...so he and his brother are 2 months apart, they aren't twins, as they are completely separate eggs!

One very wriggly baby seen on the scan today.

I'm measuring ahead at 13+2 so my new due date is 9 April.

This is getting real!

Anyone hazard a guess? Boy or girl?

I'm no expert but I would go for boy! Are you going to find out?

I have been certain all along I've been having a boy but I think my scan looks like a girl! I can't wait to find out now.

I have an inkling it's a boy but who knows.

Wow Cook, what an astonishing thing to find! Keeping everything crossed that this little one is sticking around (and yes, stay with us!). Fascinating article, Celen - I had heard about the phenomenon but never seen it in real life.

Puggle that's great they've been able to rule out the VP so soon. I thought it was 20w, but scanners are so much better nowadays.

I've been lurking for a few weeks as I've had 2 MCs previously and didn't want to tempt fate but finally had my scan today and measuring at 13 weeks! So will be having our first baby April 11th
Now having a minor panic about space, money and time off work but I'm sure it will all work out fine.

Congrats PinkSmash, sorry you've had a journey to get here.

Congratulations on the baby! I feel an affinity as I thought my due date would be April 11th too until it was nudged forward at my scan!
