Lovely scans ladies :)

Woken up by nausea at 2am, and started puking at 4am, think I've finished now...I hope! The nausea just never stops! I'm only puking in the morning but the rest of the day is just pure horrible!

Why am I not one of these lucky women who breeze through pregnancy without a day of sickness?!?!

Still a few weeks to go too Sad

ChatEnOeuf · 01/10/2016 07:29

Lovely to see all the scans, beautiful babies :)

Still nauseous most of the day here too, not actually throwing up, which is a bonus of sorts, but it's getting a little tiresome. I think I'm 12w today, though that'll probably change on Weds at scan.

Welcome Bingly

Puggleface · 01/10/2016 07:38

Morning! Fell asleep early yesterday after the excitement of the scan and going to tell my parents!

Mrs how's it going? Has the bleeding stopped now?

Welcome bingly

So I was convinced I was having a girl up until the scan! But the Nub theory is leaning towards a boy. Plus this baby is the spitting image of my son in his scans!

My boss is coming over tomorrow and I'm telling her! I thought it would be good to tell her outside of work over a coffee! (Decaf obvs!)

Anyone got any exciting weekend plans? Oh and who do I need to message about the Facebook group?

jobrum · 01/10/2016 07:52

Hi everyone, just trying to catch up on the thread. I've been feeling utterly misserable this week with anothee two migraines so only felt normal on Wednesday, every other day has been building up to, getting over or having a migraine. But the morning sickness is much better. Yay...!

Sorry to hear about those still feeling sick. Great scan photos, mine's on Monday. We were both able to take the whole day off as holiday so as the scan is in the morning will be picking dd up from nursery and spending the rest of the day doing something nice. Really looking forward to it.

I have discovered Starbucks spiced pumpkin lattes. Caffiene helps my migraines and sugar just generally makes me feel better when I'm getting one and this is a very delicious way of getting both into my body. I will be very sad when they take them away!

jobrum · 01/10/2016 07:53

Welcome to bingly and anyone else who've joined.

MrsRhubarb · 01/10/2016 08:09

Thanks Puggle everything seems okay now thank goodness.

DD has just appeared naked in the sitting room demanding a shower. Ooookay...

Hello new people!

choccybiscuit · 01/10/2016 08:24

Glad your bleeding has stopped mrs. How old is your daughter? That made me laugh Grin
Welcome binglyand any other newcomers, sorry if I missed you out. finovaglad your scan went well.
I had premenstrual headaches every month jobrumI really feel for you, especially as you can't take ibuprofen, I have taken paracetamol for headaches in this pregnancy so far, just can't seem to shift them. I agree sugar and caffeine does seem to help somehow. Hope it goes soon.

I'm 12 weeks today! Yay.... by my last scan I would be 12+5 today but going to stick with my original date until my scan on Friday.

MrsRhubarb · 01/10/2016 08:41

She's 3 in a week and a half, and such a monkey Grin

ecofreckle · 01/10/2016 09:22

Bright red bleeding today at ten plus one. Haven't bled in this or other pregnancy. I'm so sad. Have flu jab at half nine pm going to see if doc will see me for referral to epu

SharkBastard · 01/10/2016 09:37

Hope you can get seen eco such a worry

ecofreckle · 01/10/2016 09:43

Seeing GP at ten fifteen. Imagining all sorts of stuff. Going over everything I've 'done wrong'.

SharkBastard · 01/10/2016 09:45

You'll have done nothing wrong! I'm sure all will be fine. Any pain or is it just bleeding?

ecofreckle · 01/10/2016 09:48

Sorry shark....I'm being pathetic really. Nothing else presently. I dare not look at my pad. So silly. Sorry to be a downer when the thread is so full of scans and wriggly babies

Hayls17 · 01/10/2016 09:59

Fingers crossed for you ecofreckle

MrsRhubarb · 01/10/2016 10:09

Massive hugs ecofreckle at least you're on your way to the best place, they'll make sure you see the right people. You have done nothing wrong at all, though I know it doesn't change how terrifying it is.

naranciata · 01/10/2016 10:10

Hope all is well ecofreckle.

We're off to a wedding today. It's only 10am but I'm already knackered. Now we have a 3 hour drive to the wedding and after that I do not want a day in heels dry heaving. DH says he'll get a taxi if I want to drive back to the B&B after the meal. Although I seem to have accidentally booked us into an old lady guesthouse that looks like my grandmother's house rather than the fancy luxury place I meant to reserve.

SharkBastard · 01/10/2016 10:12

You're not being pathetic at all! I'd be the same, hope you can get seen and your mind can be put at rest

This thread is for good and bad!

RaRa25 · 01/10/2016 10:55

ecofreckle Hope everything is ok.
Welcome to all the new peeps.

God, sorry to moan when done of you seem to have more serious problems than this. But I feel so out of sorts today, just want to bloody scream at everyone! I can't even bring myself to smile at the neighbours. I have just stormed out of the house as me DH and DD were getting ready to go to the park and now I am sat I My car in tescos car park feeling sorry for myself. I'm sure it is hormones but I feel so bloody silly and over dramatic! It all just seems so overwhelming today.
Sorry selfish post. Think I will feel better when I gave my scan on the 10th.
Hope everyone else has a good Saturday.
Oh and naran going d luck with the wedding...I couldn't think of anything worse today...god, shoot me now!

RaRa25 · 01/10/2016 10:59

Bloody typos!! I think you get my drift, blaming the hormones again!
Right, going to buy a tub of Ben & Jerrys to cheer me up.

BinglyBinglyBeep · 01/10/2016 11:35

I hope everything is ok ecofreckle.

Best of luck with your boss puggleface. Planning on telling mine after nuchal test on Thurs. No idea how it's going to go.

On my way to a hen party today. A couple of my friends there know and will cover for me during the cocktail making class. I don't feel too ill or knackered today at least and wish I could send you some energy for the wedding naran!

Hopefully the Ben & Jerry's will do the trick RaRa.

SharkBastard · 01/10/2016 14:03

How did you get on eco, did you get a referral to EPU?

Welshy11 · 01/10/2016 14:39

Hey ladies all the scans look amazing.. very impatient here! Only 2 weeks until mine. Fingers crossed eco everything went OK at the scan.
I seem to be sick everytime I eat dairy... anyone got this? X

Celen · 01/10/2016 14:54

How are you doing ecofreckle? So sorry you're going through this worry Sad xx

ecofreckle · 01/10/2016 15:10

Hello lovelies. Thank you.

GP saw me as that is the route my midwife suggested for bleeds. She did a pregnancy test which was sticky positive. She checked blood pressure and pulse and prodded my belly to rule out ectopic. She said she'd fax early pregnancy unit who open again on Monday and to wait it out until they contact me. She told me how things would progress if it is indeed a miscarriage.

Bright red bleed immediately after a bath and has since turned to a brown ish discharge. I have no experience of any bleeding so am of course worried. The not knowing sucks. Doc told me to bed rest all weekend which I find perplexing.....if that can help then I should have approached my first trimester all different!

Having been scared by prospect of baby two at 40 I now naturally want nothing more. It's a bit of a head feck this bleeding malarky.
