evergreen I'm with others - you should definitely try and talk to someone about how you're feeling. Can you talk to your midwife, GP, parents, DP, or anyone else who you feel comfortable with?

There are so many hormones flying around in early pregnancy and it's a lot of changes to get used to what with getting married as well, so it's not surprising you're feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all.

Morning all! Ever you poor thing - you've got a lot going on at the moment but everything will pass, I promise.

Had my scan this morning - all is good! Nuchal measurement was fine (although obvs I need to wait for bloods) and I'm dating 11+6...which means Baby Sky is due on Valentine's Day! I'll try and upload the photo now...s/he had really kicky legs (not surprising, Daddy's an ultramarathon runner), and was waving...with real fingers!

I really hope everyone else having scans today has fabulous news too xxx

ever I really feel for you and remember you said you have suffered from anxiety and I think other issues before, right? I know now is an expensive time but in addition reaching out for real life support like others have said, could you afford to spend 100 on a early private scan today just to put yourself at ease? You had the early scan which means everything is very likely ok but I cannot imagine wedding and baby stress at the same time so get why you feel like you are sinking. Sometimes throwing some money at an acutely stressful situation is worth it for your mental health if that's possible. I'm sure your midwife can offer some more sensible advice. Hang in there

Aww that's fab news SkyLucy! I bet it's such a relief for you to see everything looking good. I'm just waiting for my letter confirming my scan, as I'm 12 weeks this week.
Was the dating scan due date much different to the one they tell you from you period?? As so far mine is due 16th Feb

ever you poor thing, you just have so much on your plate, anyone would be anxious. Agree you should try to talk to someone. If it is any consolation I felt I'd been lied to about how pg would be last time round, I wasn't prepared for how crap I would feel and for the awful worry. And I didn't have any previous issues to make it worse. I think the worry is one of those things Mums either forget or don't speak about as when I mentioned it later everyone knew what I meant.

Morning all, had my scan this morning so finally coming out of hiding (have been following the thread from afar!).

Measuring at 12 +1 so bang on my EDD of 12th Feb. I thought I would be put back a few days to be honest!

This is DC2, first is DD - 2 in September

friendly and fanella I would be furious if my mil did that to me. Especially if she didn't even tell them to pretend they didn't know. Bits such a violation and lack of respect 😡

wispa. Thanks for that advice. It sounds like the bee would suit our day to day lifestyle best as we are city dwellers. I'd like to think we'll be going on long country walks but it's unlikely

Welcome holly and nice! This is my first baby. We did pre natal DNA genetic testing so we know we are having a little girl!

My last period would suggest I'm 12+2, and the emergency scan I had a few weeks ago would put me at 11+3. To be honest I KNEW I was 11+6 because I know exactly when the 'magic' happened!

I think a little variation in dates is perfectly normal...you should have your scan date by now though - have you rung and chased? Mine got 'lost in the post' - worth checking!

Evergreen I agree you should talk to your midwife. Are you working all this week? Maybe try to take a day off and do something relaxing like go for a massage.

I'm gonna make it three-for-three with Sky and bippity !

Back from lunch, which followed the scan, at which all was good! I'm slightly further along than I realised, at 12.+4, so my EDD has shifted to 9th February and I get to stay here, yay!

I'll try and post a pic later - the tadpole was hopping about and looked to be hiccuping - it obviously didn't like the bike ride there!

I had mine today too and im measuring 13+2 instead of 13+1 so now due on the 4th Feb, my measurements were all fine too just need to wait for the blood results.

i got 13 pics but here is the clearest so i dont bore you all

I'm jumping in behind kikis with more good news. Baby Button growing up a treat, EDD now moved to 11th Feb from 10th which was actually consistent with its measurements at our 9 week scan. What a relief. Honestly I think I could sleep for a week now after that. And breathe....

Kellz just missed your post! Congrats to you too!

Shell, my symptoms eased right off at around week 10 I'd say, which is why I was petrified of my scan today, because I was convinced there'd be nothing to see.

But over the past week or so, especially in the evenings I'd say, I've had a light level of nausea particularly after eating. And my boobs - especially nipples (sorry for TMI!) are quite tender to the touch. So it definitely seems to come and go in that regard.

How are you feeling now evergreen? Hope you are ok, sounds like you've got a lot on your plate this week, all of which would be stressful enough in isolation!
Agree it's worth mentioning the anxiety to your midwife if you can.

shell I'm 13 and a bit weeks now and have had more energy this last could of days and the nausea is a lot better. Still feel a bit queasy between breakfast and lunch but usually fine after that now.

Sorry to hear you're feeling low evergreen, I felt like giving up last week and I haven't got half as much going on as you have. Today I'm full of beans and there's no rationale for feeling different. Just do whatever it takes to get you through this week (I'm thinking major pampering & eating but maybe that's just what cheers me up) & I'm sure once you make it out the other side you'll start to feel better again.
