How is everyone this morning?

I am feeling relly queasy and also tired. I woke up at 3am and could not get back to sleep, sao I came onto the computer until 6.30. DD was up at 7.15am

I wish I could go back to bed, but I need to get some housework done before going to an appointment.

ejt1764 · 01/02/2007 11:15

I'm coming in too .... had my bfp last week, not allowing myself to get too excited after 2mc last year.

This'll be #2 for me, ds is 4 1/2.

Have already been to see GP & midwife and have been referred to EPAU for early scan on 12th Feb - it can't come quickly enough!

Terrified, and constantly knicker checking ....

sickness - lots - sent home from work today (can't do teaching if you're puking!)
sore boobs - none
tiredness - exhausted
paranoia - see above re knicker-checking!

had to say tinytotmummy - this will be no. 3 for us to and ds is 3.6 and dd is 2.1! how freaky is that!?

Afternoon all.
ejt you are in the same situation as me the, its a nightnmare isnt it. every trip to the toilet feels like an achievement as I am always expecting the worst.

Poor you greedy, I hope everything turns out alright.

JuJuMoo · 01/02/2007 13:23

Hiya girlies :-) Congrats for all those BFP's! I got mine on Saturday but have totally erratic cycles but think I must be due early Oct. Confusion setting in already; booked Dr's apt and then went the wrong day, and when I got the day right, I got the GP wrong and have to go back next week to see the anti-natal specialising GP!

Have DS who is 2.1. Very sore boobs but no sickness yet thankfully as it nearly wiped me out completely last time :-(

Anyway, good luck ya'all :-)

i am so happy for you lissie! i really hope the confusion and complications you have had will be the only problems you ever get with this pregnancy and that from now on, it will be plain sailing!

lissielou · 01/02/2007 14:12

thank you

sickness- lots
sore boobs- def
tiredness- not too bad
paranoia- how long have you got

ejt1764 · 01/02/2007 14:15

Lissie - really made up for you ... it's been a rollercoaster for you - let's hope it's boring and uneventful from now on .... boring is good!

Kezza - I'm thinking of starting a new society - knicker checkers anonymous ... instead of the 12 step plan, you'd have the 12 week plan ... and you'd graduate only when you gave birth ... I even left my class on Tuesday for 2 minutes to go and check (doesn't help that the lady lotion seems to be on overtime - sorry if tmi - just need to share!) ...

Roll on 12th Feb - that's when I have the scan - if I get that far ...

Taichimum · 01/02/2007 14:17

Fingers crossed for you Lissielou. I have managed to survive two whole days of panicking about m/c since I found out pg on Tues. Only another 8 weeks to go . Groan.
Funny taste in mouth yes
Boobs sore- yes
Sick- no except on bus
Moods swings and crying - yes I am verging on psychotic

Hi Taichi ... welcome to the knicker checker's club ... We'll get there ...

pmsl at public knicker checking ...

Well, officer, it was like this ...

MrsMcJnr · 01/02/2007 14:22

It really is such a relief to hear that there are others knicker watching all the time like I am! Maybe I should be posting here after all even if it does feel very early.

I'll add my stats:

sickness - more queasy than sicky (though choked with cold so doesn't help)
sore boobs - sides are getting less so, nipples are getting more so, boobs def bigger
tiredness - knackered
paranoia - mucho
Gassy!

Greedy - OMG, that's very freaky! Congrats to you

So glad everything is ok Lissie, hope all goes well on Monday.

Nearly sick in the car on the way to nursery this morning, have now bought packet of mints for such moments.

V tired, although had nice lie-in this morning. DS didn't get up until 8.30 (and promptly told me he'd wet the bed) and DD didn't surface til 9.45 - outrageous!

ejt1764 · 01/02/2007 15:16

MMJ - good to see you ... the normal, non knicker checkers are just being very quiet ... or perhaps I'm just being a bit too loud!

pmsl at gassy - thought it was just me!

tiny ... puking in the car is not good ...

I've now got to put the definite list of my symptoms - to the aforementioned:

sickness - lots - sent home from work today (can't do teaching if you're puking!)
sore boobs - none
tiredness - exhausted
paranoia - see above re knicker-checking!

I now wish to add:

thirst - excessive
peeing - excessive - see above
bm (can't hink of any way to put it, sorry) - a touch on the constipated side, hence
gas - excessive ...

It's a good job you can't see me right now ....

lissielou · 01/02/2007 15:25

pmsl, im only 5w and i cant do up my jeans, was the same with ds, is that a symptom?

OP posts:
ejt1764 · 01/02/2007 15:27

Absolutely lissie, although if you're anything like me it'll have something to do with the great relief of no longer being on a diet!!

Hello ladies. I cannot believe this thread has started!! My ds was born Oct 05 which means it's two years already since I conceived!!

Wishing you all the very best and I hope you all have wonderful pregnancies.

I'm a bit though. Just as well there's no broody emoticon
