Lwatkins · 25/01/2007 04:42

And it's too cold.....

Lwatkins · 25/01/2007 04:48

oooo, and has anybody else noticed that there nipples have suddenly got LOADS bigger? Sorry if tmi, but you know, just putting it out there. If i don't say it then who will - nobody. That may be because it's 4:50 in the freakin morning and your all asleep, warm in you cosy beds and i'm here weeping! But you know, think about it. Mine have, was quite shocked when i was showering earlier, my boobs have suddenly been taken over by my nipples and it just looks all wrong! Also caught a glimpse of my fandango earlier and it aint pretty ladies, i'm gonna have to get down there with some waxing strips asap, or a chainsaw!

jessinwa · 25/01/2007 05:07

my nips are huge and brown. i used to have nice pink ones, even though my norks are monstrous. they were like this last time too. luckily, between pregnancies they went back to their pink color soon after i stopped nursing the boy. just thought i'd chime in.

Frenchsmallfry · 25/01/2007 08:05

Morning all.............;

Anymore snow? Schools out today because of ours it all looks very pretty in the daylight. Looks like snow fun in the garden. today I'll try to take a pic later and post it for you.

Lwatkins you really must try to go to bed at a sensible time. 4.50 in the freakin morning,!! as I'm an hour ahead of you my alarm is just warming up to buzz in my ear at that time. Nipples are larger but not massively!

Hi MKG and Jess, like you buggy MkG, what a Good idea.

OP posts:
cinnamontam · 25/01/2007 08:10

Bloody hell - I hadn't really looked and you are right! They are massive. I mean mine - not yours That would be many shades of wrong

notsolilKel · 25/01/2007 09:14

MKG you are packed for hospital already?!?!? my god woman you are waaaay ahead of me here...!! (I love the name Sebastian by the way, DH wouldn't let us have it tho cus in German it become 'Bastl' or some such . The buggy you picked looks great. I always wonder how you really fit behind a normal buggy with just a buggy board tacked on the back...

April I didn't even know Boots did bouncy chairs. I found this one at M&P though and am quite taken with it. "Interactive" gets me every time...

LW poor dear - school is so worth it in the end, just keep telling yourself that. You'll feel better after some decent sleep. Oh and don't envy me too much my sleep - I was awake all hours because my d*mn dog was lonely...I love that creature but gawd she can be a right pain sometimes!!!

our heat's off, again, so twiddling thumbs waiting for shower...grrr

twelveyeargap · 25/01/2007 10:01

Ah here. I thought I was bad with the baby shopping! Haven't so much as glanced at all the "extras" yet. Must try harder.]

Glad DD is ok LG&T. Bloody nuisance to have to have the op and get gromits, but it's fairly common in young kids isn't it?

Clever buggy MKG.

Oh, I measured myself on Sun or Mon for TPT as I knew I'd forget. Am STILL 8 and 3/4 sheets although am DEF bigger. I suspect we'll all start growing like mad soon, with the fundal height surpassing the bellybutton. Jess, you'll be entering 3rd Trimester/ Week 28 next week, will you? Or am I ahead of myself?

I'm mad for onions AND bananas. Potassium deficiency, perchance. Just scoffed a cinnamon bagel topped with banana. YUM! Already considering a cheese and onion sandwich for lunch. Is that disgusting?

Absolutely tore home after work to make it to the doctor's to register, so I can get my long overdue antenatal check booked. Puffed up the hill at top speed to discover the bloody place was closed for staff training for the afternoon. Agh! Bump was rock hard with the effort. Poor baby. Have to do it all again tonight.

All the stew talk yesterday got me quite motivated. I prepared and half cooked a stew as soon as the Ocado man arrived last night and bunged it in the oven for DD to swich on low when she gets home. Also made a rather healthy turkey-mince spag bol to freeze. Then had oven chips and egg for tea.

Finally sat down around 10pm with the dregs of a bottle of wine and thought I'd just watch a bit of telly and go to bed, whereupon DH calls and ask will I collect him from Tottenham. (Had just been to see football with a client.) Rushed out in jimjams, furry boot slippers and a big hoodie (not a great look), de-iced the car, warmed it up and just before I pulled off he called and said, "Oh I feel bad. You should stay in the warm. I'll get home... Somehow..." Grr. Pointless going back in at that stage and there'd have been no taxis. Took bloody ages as the police were directing traffic once I neared it. Got home to discover parking space near house was gone and had to leg it up the road in slippers feeling somewhat foolish!

Just realised this morning that I've booked tomorrow afternoon to get my phone installed so have been really productive for the first time all week - all year maybe. Need a bit of time pressure to get me motivated, it would seem!

Happy Thursday!

TYG, just to make you feel a little bit better, I have craved onions since about 12 weeks, especially spring onions and red onion and usually raw. I put them in everything- salads, sandwiches etc. My favourite snack for about three weeks was cheese and red onion toasties. DH is sick of me bulk buying onions!

LG&T, as part of DH's police force acceptance he had to get a medical certificate from our GP- he picked it up yesterday and scrawled across the bottom it said 'persistant glue ear at a young age: grommets and adenoidectomy'. P's in good company!

Was very naughty on the way to work today and stopped at the bakery for a hot sausage roll- but in my defence I ate it all myself and didn't give it to a child in a pushchair so I can't be voted off MN for chav-like behaviour. Tescos were supposed to deliver our shopping this morning but it didn't arrive before I had to leave for work and we had no milk or bread left so I couldn't have breakfast. I think the sausage roll is entirely justified!

Snow's gone this morning, boo hiss and in its place we have lethal ice. Not great for a woman of compromised centre of gravity.

PS top of my uterus is about 2 inches below my sternum so am officially enormous!

SKYTVADDICT · 25/01/2007 12:54

Hi all. Great pic FSF. All our snow has gone now unfortunately/fortunately ??

I got some Floradix and have just taken the first dose (Holland & Barratt £7.99) so hopefully it may perk me up a bit.

Also DP has agreed to let me get some ironing done by a friend of a friend who will pick it up Friday night and return over the weekend. My mum usually helps out but has cracked her wrist and is currently in plaster. I feel a lot better already .

TYG - I am 27 weeks today so I think that makes Jess 27 weeks yesterday but am not sure either.

On 17 more days at work after today - hurray. (9 weeks)

twelveyeargap · 25/01/2007 13:30

My surprise arrived! Yippeee! Thank you so much LG&T. Going to tuck into a HUGE piece of bounty cake straight after my cheese & onion sandwich, (also with cheese and onion crisps in it).

Ooh, yummy yummy yummy. Bounty cake for meeeee.

twelveyeargap · 25/01/2007 14:14

Im her, manic day. Had to go to town and do the post office, bank, buy Hugo birthday pressie. Then had to shop at sainsbury's, awful traffic on the way to School for Phin's assessment and interview with the educational Psychologist. It was then pick up time.

Car full of shopping and kids, lunchboxes. Unpacked shopping only to remember a friend was coming over with her 2 boys for tea (my only friend...sob) Gaaaahhhhh.

So am cooking tea in amo, she will be here in a sec. Back on later

TYG glad you got your surprise, SOH yours cant be far behind! MKG so pleased you are ok, i miss you. Loving Sebastian for a name.

Frenchsmallfry · 25/01/2007 17:07

Thank you, Snow is still here, hasn't got up past 1° today so don't think it will melt everywhere yet, but the sun has been out and the roads are now clear. Hope we don't get more tonight want ds to go to school tommorow.

Anymore sugar rushes today cin?

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 25/01/2007 17:12

Post doesn't arrive until about 11am here so I'm at work when it does. Looking forward to going home (at work till 7pm) and checking the post... I wonder ... LG&T, you're very naughty... Hope Phin's ok, ditto friend and offspring. What's all this only one friend rubbish, I should hope we're your friends too?! Hey I'm trekking miles to come and see you and brood while I'm on mat leave, that's proper effort. And you and the other superheroes must get together fairly regularly- surely you have little soirees where you eat Bounty Cake and do tricks? In fact, you must have Superman at least on speed dial.

FSF, I am so impressed with your gingerbread men. I'm getting quite a reputation. In fact, I am eating a gingerbread man as I type. Maybe it's an illness. I don't care though. I was very touched by your member profile!

What's pirate porn like then? Is it all 'ooh shiver me timbers' and 'splice my stonking great main brace you filthy wench'?

Again, I repeat, I have never watched porn. I read a Mills and Boon once. That's sort of the same isn't it?

cinnamontam · 25/01/2007 17:44

FSF - she was moving around so much it can't be good for her so have decided to limit the amount of sweet stuff (it was an entire tub - small one but nevertheless...)
Ate a massive plate of fruit last night and got nothin'

SOH - what kind of Mill's and Boon's did you read? Keep going with the pirate porn lines - absolute gold!!
