DartmoorDoughnut - I'm being simple! Looking at the calendar, I was counting the week up to my 39th week and not the one OF my 39th week! Shifting the dates makes me happy though as I want a December baby as my birthday's on the 16th.

tipboov completely the same, all day I'm starving and need to eat every few hours then on a evening I cannot stomach food. But then wake up the next morning at 6 starving again! Very strange

baby I had to do the blitz a few months back when DD (and DH) got infected. Not fun.

Hello everyone else. Not 100% awake yet. Lovely DH got up with DD and made me omelette rolls so I just had to roll out of bed when they were ready.

I also struggle with eating on an evening. Force my breakfast down and then want to eat s the time until about 4. It's not ideal but at least we are eating during the day x

Ahh; that's right Bigfam. Early scan put me 4 days back which would mean 21/12 but midwife said to stick with LP date for now.

I just gave in and ordered some maternity leggings, jeans and a shirt dress as I cannot fit in anything I own at all! I'm only 8+6! FYI Dorothy Perkins have 25% off everything online including maternity, plus I used an extra discount code HISTORE10 and got another £10 off, so what should have cost me £62 cost £36.50! Bargooosh!

Thanks for the advice on the car journey. We leave in half hour and I'm already feeling really nauseous. Lots of snacks and sick bags packed.

I really feel for those of you who have to take the tube in the summer, my sister passed out twice on the tube in her last pregnancy. Remember to have plenty of water with you.

I am 8 weeks and have just told my dad and sister, I wasn't going to tell anyone until 12 weeks but even if the pregnancy didn't go through I'd need them to be there for me so felt weird/ unneccessary keeping it a secret.
I won't tell my mum yet because she is in the middle of some very intensive chemotherapy for leukaemia (hopefully ending in July) and I want to wait a bit- just want her to focus on herself for the next few months.
I feel weird having told DF and DS- makes it feel real.
I don't know what I expected to feel.

Question, maternity clothing what size do you get? Is it the size that you normally would get?

Theaks I did pretty much last time, most were from h and m though and the mat clothes are all small med large etc and I did go up a size just so I would be majorly comfortable

Goes round your middle to support your bump, I never had one so don't know if they work

Also they are good to cover up the bump if your jeans are cut below the bump not over the bump

Bump bands don't offer any support, they just cover up your bump. Useful when you're in the in-between stages so you can wear normal tops that bit longer.

I bought some but they're way too big and fall down. I think I'd need a 9 month bump for them to fit 😕

I find maternity clothes are over generous, so I buy my size or a size down. Last time I borrowed some of my sister's size 8&10 clothes. I'm a 12-16 normally! I didn't put on any extra weight last time though, just bump and a bit bigger on the boobs.
