So sorry raisin, thinking of you.

Lovely to see more scan pics, the mixed news on hear makes you realise just how precious this all is.

becci I'm having a honeymoon baby too! When did you get married? We got hitched on 11th March and fingers crossed my little bean will be due on 18th Dec all going well. I lost weight for the wedding and feel it's so obvious that my stomach has grown massively!

SouthDownsSunshine · 27/05/2016 06:48

Ah becci you look gorgeous in both photos. What a lovely bump.

OrianaBanana · 27/05/2016 07:02

Really sorry raisin look after yourself.

Jealous of those with bumps - I don't really have one yet (11+2) just feeling a bit fat and that's probably mostly water retention/over nibbling.

I keep thinking at my scan they'll find it stopped growing weeks ago or something. Still more than a week to go Sad

LittleBear01 · 27/05/2016 07:21

I'm 12+2 and have woken up to fairly heavy red bleeding Sad I'm going to try to convince EPU to check me out but have a feeling that they'll tell me to wait until my 12 week scan on Tues. I don't have pain or cramps so holding on to some hope that all is ok.

Watermelon2016 · 27/05/2016 07:35

Happy holidays chapman! I've still not been sick at all and boobs much less sore. Blighted by headaches and also constipation. Having said that terrible tummy last night. I think I over indulged at an Italian restaurant we went to!
Enjoy Vegas!

One silly question for you from a first timer. Am I ok to get my hair lighted?!

TipBoov · 27/05/2016 07:48

Fingers crossed for you Littlebear xx

Bella1985 · 27/05/2016 07:48

Firsttimer16 my stomach muscles feel like I've been doing a 100 crunches 3 times a day. Which I really haven't! They must be stretching preparing to make space for the uterus when it moves up in 2nd trimester into the stomach cavity.

babyinthacorner · 27/05/2016 08:02

So sorry Raisin and everything crossed for you Littlebear. I think it IS a good sign that you don't have cramping, but ring GP straight away and explain how anxious you are. Mine were great and got me an appt at the EPU within hours.

I had my 12wk scan yesterday - my birthday, which I was dreading. But it turned out to be the best birthday ever! Baby being very naughty and lying face down, which meant we spent half an hour just watching it wriggling and jumping around. It was magical. They dated me at 12.6 yesterday so ever so slightly ahead again - due date now 2nd December. Just need to get the test results back and I'll be telling the world! Thank goodness - it's so difficult trying to keep it quiet - especially as belly's getting rounder and rounder and floaty tops and dresses aren't doing the job anymore!

TinySalmon · 27/05/2016 08:02

littlebear does your EPU accept walk-ins? I would just go in and say it's an emergency. Fingers crossed for you that everything is ok xx

watermelon I'm still getting full-head highlights every 6 weeks (going from very dark roots to platinum/ashy blonde!). Hairdresser said as long as it's not a scalp bleach or any bleaching/colour going directly on to the scalp then you will be fine. She also uses ammonia-free toner. I think 15 years ago would have been a different story but these days with advances in hair technology we are safe :)

I've been feeling very unglamorous in this pregnancy - living in leggings and trainers, barely ever putting on makeup, so there's no way I'm giving up on my fake tan and highlights! 🙈

firawla · 27/05/2016 08:03

So sorry raisin Flowers and fingers crossed for you littlebear - surely they should agree to check you out straight away!

We're getting ready to go on hols today. Had been really looking forward to it but now with all the fuel strikes in France I'm a bit more stressed!! Hope it won't be too bad so I can get the relaxing break I really wanted! And looking fwd to scan when we get back

SolomanDaisy · 27/05/2016 08:07

Raisin, I'm so sorry. I hope you're coping ok.

Becci I love your wedding dress! And what an amazing bump!

Littlebear, I hope it's ok. It used to be at my hospital that after 12 weeks it was the normal maternity service not the EPU. I hope they'll scan you today.

I had my nuchal test yesterday and they said we were low risk. The actual figure was something like 1 in 285, compared to an age risk of 1 in 83. It feels quite high risk, since it was 1 in 50,000 with DS! The nuchal and hcg were fine, nasal bone seen, but my PAPP-A is a bit low (still within normal though). I am relieved at not having to make decisions more than anything. You can't do anything about it once the baby's here, which takes all of that away. I shouldn't have googled low PAPP-A though.

We told DS last night, he is so happy. He was whispering into my stomach at bedtime, telling the baby he loves it!

SouthDownsSunshine · 27/05/2016 08:13

littlebear no pain or cramps is a good sign. I've bled throughout (like a period) and baby has been fine. Hopefully EPU will see you, ours does until 14 weeks I think.

LittleBear01 · 27/05/2016 08:54

Thanks all. I'm waiting at EPU now. South: stories like yours give me so much hope, thank you.

Watermelon2016 · 27/05/2016 08:59

Thank you tinysalmon. I'll get an appointment booked!
Hope you get seen ASAP littlebear and becci ickle bump is gorgeous.

lilydaisyrose · 27/05/2016 09:12

LittleBear01, please update us when you can. I have my fingers firmly crossed for you.

I am eating my words after saying I felt so much better yesterday. I feel like shit today after a late night at the theatre with the kids. I also fell asleep hungry which I don't think helped. This morning I've got a sore tummy (dull stretchy pain), am exhausted and feel hungover, like something the cat has dragged in. This absolutely shite weather isn't helping either. I am also feeling really pukey when my kids kiss me as all I can smell is bad/old breath, even straight after they've brushed their teeth! I feel absolutely awful but their breath (undoubtedly fine) is really affecting me and making me boke! Poor kids! My son wants to kiss me about 300 times when we are waiting in the school line (with 100s of people milling around) and I so love him but it's just so grim!

TinySalmon if fake tan and highlights is your idea of slumming it I'm just so glad you can't see me through the screen! You sound so glam!

becci, you look so beautiful in both pictures - stunning lady!

NurseRosie and Theaks, what lovely clear scan photos! Yay for 2nd tri!

chapman, I hope you have an amazing rest of your holiday - Vegas sounds amazing and ill bet it'll be a while before you can plan a big holiday like that again - enjoy!

firawla, have a brilliant holiday and hope you don't run out of fuel!!!

barking, I hope you managed to get some sleep eventually - at the moment I am waking up twice between 3 & 5.30 am to go to the toilet but can usually get back to sleep after a short while. Have fun camping - any tips on camping while pregnant appreciated as we are considering taking the kids to a festival at the start of August.

Daisy, sometimes I feel really thick with all the info on this forum - I have no idea what PAPP-A isis but I hope all is well with you, still being in the normal range - off to google!

SouthDownsSunshine · 27/05/2016 09:55

Good luck littlebear x

Bigfam · 27/05/2016 09:59

I hope everything is OK littlebear and you're not kept waiting too long Flowers

To all those holidaying, have a lovely relaxed time.

What a beautiful bride becci and your little bump is lovely. Don't think I'll pit bump pics up til 2nd trimester.
I've always measured small in all my pregnancies in the last stretch, which normally results on growth scans, apparently I just hide them well Smile

LittleBear01 · 27/05/2016 11:17

Our little baby is fine! Very wriggly and active! I can't believe how much detail we could see. I have found out that I'm rhesus negative though, so still at EPU waiting for anti-d injection. Is anyone else rhesus negative?

TinySalmon · 27/05/2016 11:21

Thank goodness littebear! You gave us all a scare! Glad baby is safe and well x

ElodieS · 27/05/2016 11:27

Yay! V glad to hear it littlebear! I'm thesis negative too, had the anti-D after DTs were born.

We were supposed to make an early start for long weekend in Cornwall this morning, but took forever to leave the house. So far had to stop twice for DDs to wee and once for me to puke, eugh! It'll be lovely when we get there, right?!

My scan's next week, can't wait to see this LO!

Ex

lilydaisyrose · 27/05/2016 11:28

Yay LB!!

SolomanDaisy · 27/05/2016 11:33

Great news littlebear!

becciandbump · 27/05/2016 11:36

fluffypicklemonster that's so cool we got hitched 19march and im due the 17 dec x

LittleBear01 · 27/05/2016 12:28

Thanks all, the support from this thread is really invaluable. My 12 week scan is on Tues so not long until I get to see littlestbear again - will make sure I share my scan pic (although s/he was so wriggly today that it might be difficult to get a good one if they're the same on Tues!).

ElodieS · 27/05/2016 12:36

Achem, thesis negative = rhesus negative!
