fizzy sending you lots of positive vibes for tomorrow. Remember you are seeing the best people who will do all that's needed for your babe and you are both in great hands. It must be an incredibly anxious time but great you are listing any questions...make sure you don't leave until you are 110% satisfied with the information you are being given. Stay strong and positive and perhaps try some gentle breathing techniques today to help you relax, here is a lovely one -

crunchy great you have sorted out the work situ and good on you for applying, I hope it all goes your way.

sophia how are your iron levels? Low iron can make you feel faint / weak, so perhaps look into that and take a higher dose supplement which may help with fatigue and dizziness.

erica how are you feeling today?

Advice needed ladies...where are you buying maternity leggings? I have a couple of pairs from H&M / Topshop but looking for something a bit thicker / more lycra, as the cheaper ones seem to go baggy in all the wrong places after just one wear !!

33+4 and feeling it these days!

Christinedonna · 14/06/2016 11:50

fizzy I have no doubt you'll both be fine! Hand holding here

PickleBot · 14/06/2016 16:20

Fizzy good luck x

bear Dorothy Perkins.

Fizzyboo · 14/06/2016 16:46

Thanks bear, christine & pickle. I've got about ten mins of work actually done today, but a hell of a lot of randomly staring out of the window in my own little world... Time is passing though

LotsofDots · 14/06/2016 18:19

Hope all goes well tomorrow fizzy the majority of right sided aortic arches are isolated as far as I remember, so hopefully that'll be the case for your baby.

Fizzyboo · 14/06/2016 18:47

Oh I'm so glad you do what you do lots! You've made me feel so reassured about this before, I really am grateful for your opinion on it!

LotsofDots · 14/06/2016 19:02

Fizzy, some people have all their insides the opposite way round to usual and don't know about it, or have their heart on the right as an isolated phenomenon. The inside of the body is fascinating! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 14/06/2016 20:04

Good luck for tomorrow fizzy keeping everything crossed for you.

Longtimelistener · 14/06/2016 21:09

Lots of luck for tomorrow Fizzy, will be thinking of you Flowers

OwlinaTree · 14/06/2016 22:37

Good luck fizzy, sure all will be well.

Fizzyboo · 15/06/2016 00:06

Oh all of you are quite lovely, thank you xx

rumisyum · 15/06/2016 07:17

Thinking of you today, Fizzy. xx

Crunchy, he's 17 months old. Toddlerhood is maddening in lots of ways, but it's also a ridiculously adorable stage. And I've got 3 weeks left at work after this one - 2 full on, one winding down. Fully on clock-watching mode...

ToElleWithIt · 15/06/2016 08:40

Best of luck today fizzy

Off on holidays on Friday . Can't wait - smothered with a cold... in June FFS. Then only 3 weeks until I finish up at work.

Biscuitswithtea · 15/06/2016 08:41

Hope today goes well Fizzy.

Am also on a work countdown - 4wks tomorrow is my last day when I'll be just shy of 37wks. Can't wait! DS has decided to toilet train - which is good but adds to the general kerfuffle at home at the moment...

MrsZumbaDancer · 15/06/2016 10:41

Good luck today fizzy

4 weeks on Friday until I finish and I can't wait! Currently in a battle within my dept over my contract-I went to my union who kicked off and are liaising directly with HR. Not the stress you need at 31 wks preggo!

bearhuggy · 15/06/2016 11:00

GOOD LUCK today fizzy, sending you all the good vibes and the sun is out in London this morning for you :)

I bought a swiss ball which arrived yesterday and it's so great to sit on whilst working at my desk...such an improvement from my chair! Really recommend for anyone who might be suffering with back pain at work.

zumba that sounds rather tedious, hope HR can sort it out for you with minimum stress.

elle where are you going on your hols?? Lucky thing!!

FourForYouGlenCoco · 15/06/2016 11:14

Good luck for today fizzy, absolutely everything crossed that all is ok and your little miss is just that extra bit special with no ops needed! Let us know how you get on.

33+5 today and boobs have started leaking in the night, the joy! Keep waking up in puddles, yuk. Still in lazy/chilled festival mode but need to get a grip and sort stuff out today! Not got anything at all ready for this baby Confused washed the car seat covers but that's literally it! Feels like i have ages still but it's really not long - will be technically full term in 3 weeks and 2 days! Not expecting an early arrival (DD was born the day after her due date), but still!

Salene · 15/06/2016 11:18

Good luck fizzy

Well things just get better and better for me

Just back from doctors after being up most the night with a 39.5 fever

I've got a nice dose of pregnacy pneumonia just what I could do with out

Got tablets and told to rest up

Rest up with a 20 month old 🙈 Yeah not going to happen

Husband home a week on Friday so counting down the days till then and I can sit down and relax

Currently feel like utter shit , coughing up minging stuff and pretty much feeling exhusted.

This pregnacy really has sucked 😥

Sophia1984 · 15/06/2016 11:54

Oh no Salene! That sounds horrible Sad Have you got any friends or relatives who could babysit for you?

Longtimelistener · 15/06/2016 12:02

Oh Salene, so sorry to hear you're having such a crappy time. Hope you're feeling better soon Flowers

hgleslie89 · 15/06/2016 12:52

Everything crossed for you fizzy
I finish up 2 weeks on Friday (at 35+6), but only have 5 days to work after today since I have loads of holiday to take (high turnover in my office meant I couldn't really take time off before now).
Got a school friend's wedding on Saturday - will be great to see folks I haven't seen for almost 10 years, but really not looking forward to the 7 hour drive!

bearhuggy · 15/06/2016 12:54

Oh salene you poor thing and sorry your hubby isn't there to help, as soph mentioned, do you have any friends or relatives close by who can come over? Some things you might want to try if you haven't already....

Hot steam with tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil - both very powerful antimicrobial remedies
Lots of Vit C and Vit D in your diet
Raw garlic - if you can stomach chewing it (!!) mixed with some fresh orange juice
1 pinch of cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into a glass of water, 3 times a day
Colloidial silver in a nebuliser if you can get your hands on one?
Fresh lemon & honey tea
Cut out all sugar in your diet
Lots of water and rest (I know, easier said than done!)

Hope you feel better soon x

Fizzyboo · 15/06/2016 15:25

And I'm out!

So, they said they didn't see anything new which is good, but they can't be certain there is no compression. They are seeing if they can arrange an MRI scan of babes while she's in me to have a deeper investigation, but they like to do it at 32 weeks and I'm just passed. But that's no real concern if I don't, as she will have an MRI and a bronchial video done at around 6-8 weeks old to make sure.
He said she looks good and there are no other issues with the way her heart works so he says my odds of it being chromosome related are very low, with odds the same really as the general population.
So altogether not entirely sewn up, but I'll take it, I'm good to give birth locally too :)
Thanks for all your support lovelies, you really have been such a rock to lean on, me & DH have been super touched by your well wishes x

And Salene that sounds awful, sending fever reducing and chilled toddler vibes in copious quantities!

Salene · 15/06/2016 15:44

Brilliant news fizzy what a relief for you both.

No I've not got anyone to help but my toddler is at nursery tomorrow all day so I will get some rest and hopefully by Friday the tablets have kicked in

I've been living off hot water with ginger lemon and honey it's a life saver makes me feel better a little bit.

strandedabroad · 15/06/2016 15:49

Fingers crossed for you Fizzy, let us know!
