We're handholding for the newly graduated viroids and handing out hooyahs to badly behaved miroids. Between womble pains and boobs with veins, some of us are still managing to shag! It's JS Grads 47!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 47th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 46th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 60th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Anyone know what they will ask at first health visitor appt. I have mine in Friday.

Peenut · 05/05/2016 12:51

Sorry not sure about what they ask at first HV appointment Lil, when do they come and visit you? All this stuff is getting a bit scarily close! Yeek!

You've made me feel better Carrot! At least you got your £100 back. I hate that kick yourself feeling after you've done something daft!

How are Feathered and Fruit getting on? Any signs of babies appearing?

lildottie · 05/05/2016 17:32

Oooh are there due dates approaching on the thread? Haven't checked stats for ages!

pee this first appt is at the GP surgery not a visit so I guess here they visit after baby arrives.

Have been for my foof wax and I'm soooo glad I did. So much more comfortable!

YogaPants · 05/05/2016 18:14

Fruit, DiscoFairyPants and Feathered are all full term now and I will be 37 weeks next Tuesday. It could be the echo of the March baby boom on here soon!

lildottie · 05/05/2016 18:44

Had a peak, can't believe im 5th! I could overtake you if you go over and i get induced though yoga - race ya! ;)

Peenut · 05/05/2016 19:58

Ooooh! It's been a while since the fanjo bunting was dusted off! Star better get it unpacked!

Peenut · 05/05/2016 19:59

Lil ... I so need a foof wax!

YogaPants · 05/05/2016 23:42

At the mere mention of fanjo bunting, Fruit has gone and done a boy-bee!

I'm up for a race Lil. Also hoping this one stays put for 12 more days until I finish work. This might work to your advantage!

SockQueen · 06/05/2016 09:04

I tried to edit the stats sheet at the top but couldn't - am I doing something wrong? There are also a few newer viroids who haven't added themselves yet.

Off to London today for my FRCA "graduation" bash. Ordered a "Baby on Board" badge for the Tube but it still hasn't arrived, so I'm hoping it's not too frantic by the time I get down there.

FeatheredTail · 06/05/2016 09:28

Sock you can just ask for a badge at any of the larger London stations - it was a revelation to me after waiting 8 weeks for my badge to arrive through the post!

I had my legs waxed, eyelashes tinted and feet pampered yesterday so am now ready for labour! Did I say I'm ready for labour? I didn't mean it. Although I'm feeling more human for sure! Yes, Fruit has had her little boy - he's lovely! She beat the induction!

I have had to stop epi-no practice after semi injuring/irritating myself - I'm anxious not using it, but the idea of going into labour with a fanjo ring of fire is not appealing. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out so I can get back on the wagon. I got to 7cm which isn't too bad.

Anyone else taken by suprise with this gorgeous weather? I've bloody well got nothing to wear!!

Canters15 · 06/05/2016 09:39

Woooooo for fruit!! Congrats!

I don't think I've added myself to the stats sheet yet. Oopsie.

Weather is amazing but also mocking all the long wooley tunics I bought.

Peenut · 06/05/2016 09:58

Yes! Well done Fruit on beating the induction and having a lovely little boybee. Is that the sound of fanjo bumping fluttering in the breeze I hear?

Injuring your self with the epic-no? Winces! I bought some perineum massage oil the other day and DH asked what a perineum is. He looked a bit pale when I explained. Considering the benefits of an epi no but they are pricey aren't they? (Although higher chances of an intact banjo is worth any amount of money).

I'm off for a spa day with my Mum next week Feathered ... bring on the wax/tint/industrial strength foot filing equipment.

Peenut · 06/05/2016 09:58

Sorry, Fanjo not Banjo.

ZylaB · 06/05/2016 17:10

Congrats fruit

I like the sound of an intact banjo! :D. Though I'll be having an ELCS this time after failed induction and emcs last time, because it'd be that or another induction and I'm not prepared to go through that again.

SockQueen · 07/05/2016 19:35

We bought a car today! Our current one is an MX5, so not conducive to baby-friendliness, and we needed a second one anyway, so we now have a lovely second-hand Mazda 6 to play with.

Also bought a fairly forgiving dress for my cousin's wedding in a couple of weeks, as none of my nice dresses will fit me, but I don't look pregnant enough for proper maternity dresses.

How's everyone else's weekend?

FuzzyOwl · 07/05/2016 22:37

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I need to buy a new car as well Sock but it seems such a hassle when none of the ones I like the look of online are anywhere near me. I expect I will keep procrastinating until I give birth!

Has anyone got any suggestions for headaches? I have tried paracetamol and also cocodamol (I am still being prescribed it for arthritis and only told to come off it in my third trimester), 4Head, drinking lots, showers, baths... I also plan to have a massage as soon as I can get an appointment, but nothing is budging them and they are more migraine-like in their intensity and disruption. I know I shouldn't complain as headaches and heartburn are the only symptoms that I have, but they really aren't fun with an almost one year old.

CountryGal4 · 08/05/2016 04:04

Fuzzy any visual disturbances? If so you need to go get checked as it could be bp related

YogaPants · 09/05/2016 13:38

How was everyone's weekends? Any scans booked this week?

Hope your headache isn't as bad today Fuzzy.

I think little yoga has dropped somewhat over the weekend. I am beginning to feel pains down below and have doubled the number of pee breaks taken. Better make sure I write my birth plan sometime soonish this week!

Feathered Are you still worried about a transverse position?

Peenut · 09/05/2016 13:53

Oh dear, sorry to hear about the headaches Fuzzy. I did get headaches in first tri that were un-shiftable with paracetamol but all I can say is that they did ease off as I went into 2nd tri and haven't really returned to bite me on the bum again. So hopefully you won't be bothered with them for too much longer?

Lovely weekend thanks Yoga, lots of pottering/eating/chilling in the lovely sunshine. Those signs indicate to me baby is coming! Whoop! Get pencil to paper with your birth plan.

The temperature in work is going up and up ... I may have to give up and get an ice pop very soon. I'm wearing what can only be descried as a maternity smock from a bag of summer preggo clothes passed on to me by my sis in law. Feeling very floaty and pregnant in it!

Starting NCT on Weds, looking forward to it and hoping I don't rock up and say something ridiculous at the first biscuit break.

Scan tomorrow to 'locate my placenta'! Or check it's not low any more –I'm not too worried as I think most of the time it moves up on its own. Looking forward to seeing the baby again though. Be a bit bigger at 31 weeks than last time I saw her/him.

SockQueen · 09/05/2016 15:04

Good weekend thanks Yoga - spent Friday in London with my parents for my FRCA thing, we had a bit of free time so had a wander across Westminster bridge and down the South Bank in the sunshine, then after the ceremony had a nice catch up with old colleagues. Saturday parents stayed over and we went and bought a car, then went shopping with my mum for a dress for cousin's wedding in a few weeks - got a nice non-maternity one from White Stuff which is stretchy and forgiving, so will hopefully get a few wears out of it!

Yesterday was just lazy and today I'm doing lots of tedious work-related paperwork as it's getting close to annual appraisal time again... Socklet is getting more noticeably wriggly, and consultant appt last week was all good, but so far no plans for extra scans.

FeatheredTail · 10/05/2016 16:05

Hey Yoga - yes, I'm worried s/he moved to transverse again, although at my last midwife appointment I was told s/he was head down and 2/5 engaged. My next appointment isn't until Monday - 2 days after my due date (seriously shit doctors surgery). Bump just seems to have become wider - although it could just be the sheer size of it! I'm absolutely humongous- !

How's the birth plan looking?

lildottie · 10/05/2016 21:59

Sorry been MIA and haven't caught up. Forgive me for running in with a me post!

Have had stabby pains low down this afternoon evening. Thinking most likely bladder rather than baby related so possible uti. Phone someone tonight or OK to leave until morning?

lildottie · 10/05/2016 22:27

I realised that was a stupid question and called. Either start of a uti or more likely baby moving down they reckon so all OK. Knowing my luck it will be a combination of both! Will see what tomorrow brings!

FuzzyOwl · 10/05/2016 22:57

Thanks for the advice and I will focus on the coming weeks when they should go, especially since I haven't had one at all today which is really good! No visual disturbances but I have a midwife appointment next week, so will chat to her about it.

Hope your birth plan is now written Yoga. I really meant to get around to doing mine last time but DD turned up before I had a chance! None of it would have been relevant in the end, so I didn't have any regrets.

Hope your NCT goes well Pee. I have booked a course as well so interesting to hear how you get on with your one. How was your scan?

That sounds a lovely weekend Sock.

Honestly Feathered don't be fobbed off by what the midwife tells you if you have any doubt about the baby's position. I knew DD was breech but all the midwives told me she wasn't and it was only when I was 9cm dilated having gone through all those contractions for nothing! that they believed me. Stay firm and insist on a scan if necessary and if you go into labour in the meantime, insist you are properly examined as soon as you go into hospital and say about your concerns then.

Glad you called lil and hope it isn't a uti.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

YogaPants · 11/05/2016 05:31

Birth plan is still in my head at this point. It is a bit like procrastinating on an essay at uni. I am tempted to leave it to the last minute. Hearing how often they change makes me feel like it either should be very short or very flexible.

Hope they "located" your placenta, Pee and it's not blocking baby's exit.

Well done on the new car Sock! Our lease isn't up until next March and it is mucho £££ to terminate early so it's going to be quite a squeeze fitting the three of us into our little car for a while longer.

Hope the stabby pains are just baby settling into position lil.

Ooh, feathered isn't it funny thinking that you might not make it to your next midwife appointment! I too am wondering how much bigger I can possibly get (especially if I were to go to a full 42 weeks!).
