We're handholding for the newly graduated viroids and handing out hooyahs to badly behaved miroids. Between womble pains and boobs with veins, some of us are still managing to shag! It's JS Grads 47!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 47th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 46th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 60th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yoga I've not heard of it. I'm not a fan of ginger, but would have tried anything if it helped my pgp. Fortunately most of it goes away as soon as you give birth!

Yay on shagging lil!

Well done Black, that's very impressive. Now have some Cake

Went to mother fit session yesterday and now I'm hurting everywhere. And I didn't even do all of it as I had to feed DD mid class. It's good to be back doing something though.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/05/2016 10:55

Hi all!

Fell off Fred for aaaages as DP was away last week so busy with Mini and DD and have had a guest staying. Am feeling much improved and have been getting out and seeing friends and I've got a small work project on that I'm really enjoying...

Congrats to the newbies! lil I promise induction is not that bad. You see some horror stories in the GD Mums group page but just agree a plan with your consultant first and don't let them drag it out over more than a couple of days and you'll be fine. To be honest first labours that come on naturally can last days as well so it truly doesn't make that much of a difference and by the time you're there you'll feel ready!

feathered soon your discomfort will be a distant memory. I bet you look absolutely beautiful right now!

Can't remember who was asking about ginger but I have heard it is good as is tumeric for pain and inflammation. I think you can get tumeric capsules but maybe double check is ok in pregnancy?

lildottie · 02/05/2016 13:56

Hi sky, glad u are feeling better. Any results from the allergy testing? I'm not bothered about how long it takes, I'm bothered about being stuck in hospital. Can't stand them! Lol. I am getting excited now though! Grin

YogaPants · 02/05/2016 21:22

I am glad you are feeling better Sky. Sounds like a busy week, especially as you are still recovering from your hospital stay.

Carrot yes, I've reached the point where I felt like I could not continue commuting on the tube when every step hurt. Pain however appears to be good for my assertiveness as I also began requesting people let me sit in the priority seats without a second thought.

Rather than seeking capsules at the moment, I am making stuff like fried greens with ginger and garlic, lemon ginger tea, and curry (which conveniently also uses turmeric) and something seems to be working (it could also be I have kept up my exercises this weekend).

Li when will they want to induce you if you don't go into labour before then? It can't be much longer to wait.

lildottie · 03/05/2016 08:30

39 weeks yoga but don't have a definite date yet. Hoping I'll get that at clinic appt mid may. 34 weeks today so I'm on the countdown!

Good on u for requesting the priority seats!

Canters15 · 03/05/2016 09:45

Hello all, have been lurking on and off but not much to report.

Saw BIL and SIL this weekend for first time in several months and both commented how much weight I had lost- am feeling v guilty/concerned about baby- can someone reassure me all will be OK? In case not obvious it is morning sickness related loss!

I am 11+1 now and hoping things will get better soon. I have my scan next Friday which is exciting. Have also had to get some mat jeans as have a little bump!

Canters15 · 03/05/2016 09:46

Pressed post too soon. sky I am glad you are better now and black I am in awe of your running efforts. I haven't done any exercise since bfp and feel rubbish for it!

SockQueen · 03/05/2016 10:41

If you're getting a bump then it's likely things are ok, Canters. Are you taking anything for morning sickness? The drugs do help and are safe, so do ask your GP if you're struggling.

YogaPants · 03/05/2016 11:42

Canters I lost my appetite during the first trimester and dropped a few kg. Once I hit 14 weeks, however, my appetite increased substantially and weight gain wasn't as issue. (I feel like a boa constrictor that has just swallowed a cow atm). Do seek help if the morning sickness is impeding your life as Sock has suggested.

I rationalised it as first trimester is the "design phase" where your body is doing lots of hard work setting out the blueprint of the baby who is still very small and the other two trimesters are the "growth stages" where baby fattens up.

Lil June 7 has been dh's prefered birthday for little yoga for a while now. (It means he gets to watch euro football while on paternity leave so this might depend on your views towards football).

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/05/2016 12:20

Your ginger and garlic greens sound delicious Yoga and it's a bonus if it eases your pain. When do you start mat leave?
Canters a bit of 1st tri weight loss is probably a good thing. I went overboard eating crap to stave off the nausea and now despite eating quite healthily since about 16 weeks I have gained more weight overall than I wanted to. Need to plan some healthy bf snacks and stay away from the biscuits.
Good to hear from you Carrot and Sky and glad you are both doing well.
Nothing happening here, fluid levels have been slightly low at the last two appointments so I'm trying to prepare myself for being induced as it looks like it might go that way. I have some quite negative feelings about it, need to try to get them out of my head. Have an acupuncture appointment tomorrow afternoon, hopefully that will work it's magic and I won't need the drugs.

7th June is my birthday, Yoga - clearly an excellent day to be born!

Canters15 · 03/05/2016 18:39

Thanks all. Not taking anything for sickness- I have the pathetic kind which is feeling v nauseous and retching when I eat rather then actual vomiting- has always felt a bit overboard to get antiemetics but I am rubbish at looking after myself and would probably give a friend completely different advice!

Hoping you can avoid induction fruit

MyBlackCat · 03/05/2016 19:52

canters I'm the same, feeling sick and retching but only been sick once, it tends to get me in the evening and when I'm hungry. Had my booking in appointment, loads of forms to fill in, can't understand why it's not electronic these days, took loads of blood, I'm surprised I'm still alive Wink

lildottie · 03/05/2016 19:54

Definitely eat regularly and don't get hungry to help the ms. You will want to eat all the carbs!

MyBlackCat · 03/05/2016 20:20

I'm definitely eating all of the carbs lil in fact anything beige will do. Couldn't believe that I hadn't put on weight after getting on the scales with the midwife earlier, I've got a carb bump developing Smile

KateBeckett · 03/05/2016 20:41

Hello lovely viroids. Thank you for all the reassurance about extra scans, just what I needed to hear as always Flowers Star

It's been a busy weekend- went to pick up our dishwasher on Saturday, and dp installed it. It is bleddy amazing and I love it!

Sunday we went to see my friend who had a baby in Feb- cute little thing slept most of the day, and dp got some baby cuddle practice which was nice. I didn't get as many snuggles as I'd like as babybeckett did not appreciate being squished by the cutie little lump!

Monday my friend with the awful fiancé came. Then Monday night my gran died. Spent all of yesterday Eve in shock, it's only really hit me today and have been crying a lot of the day on and off... she was so excited about the baby. Sad

lildottie · 03/05/2016 22:13

Oh Kate I'm so sorry. Flowers

Canters15 · 04/05/2016 07:17

Oh kate how awful, I'm so sorry.

ZylaB · 04/05/2016 07:25

So sorry kate

FuzzyOwl · 04/05/2016 08:54

So sorry Kate. Flowers

I ordered my first maternity item yesterday which has made me start to think things will be ok. Will get DH to get down some of my old maternity clothes from the loft this week but I definitely have quite a bump now.

YogaPants · 04/05/2016 10:44

10 days of work to go! The countdown is on.

Hope fruitman finds his way out on his own Fruit and you have the right support if you end up being induced.

How are you feeling today Kate? Have you made any plans to visit your family?

KateBeckett · 04/05/2016 13:04

Thanks x

We had parentcraft at the hospital last night which was a good distraction. Feeling ok so far today, and I've got a few days off to go see family from tomorrow.

Have to come back on Saturday though as we start our NCT eek! I'm a tad nervous.

Also got the midwife today- I'm hoping my bump has grown a bit since last time!

Yay for mat leave soon yoga !! Bet you can't wait!

Peenut · 04/05/2016 14:34

Sorry to hear that about your gran Kate. Such a shame she won't meet your little one but I'm sure she would have been so happy to know that you were settled and starting a family. Chocolate {flowers]

NCT next week, eeek! I'm looking forward to it as I love any sort of new information I can lay my hands on but it feels a bit mad how quickly it's come around. When I booked it seemed ages and ages away. 10 weeks to go ... YIKES.

Are you feeling up to aqua natal this evening? I'm feeling like I need a float after a few days in London being hot and a bit sweaty.

Was in London for a work do last night, also met up with some friends who I might not see now for a little while. I had a severe attack of baby brain before setting off yesterday when I realised I'd booked and paid to stay in a Travelodge on the wrong night. ARGhhh! Could have kicked myself as I had to pay twice –gutted! I've seriously lost the plot. My brain is functioning at about 30% of its normal capacity! Please tell me others have done similar foolish things?

Thanks for the info on what a centile is Lil! That makes perfect sense now! I don't know why I didn't look into that sooner!

Got a scan next Tuesday to check my naughty placenta has cleared off away from my birth canal – pretty sure it will have and looking forward to seeing Baby Bean again.

KateBeckett · 04/05/2016 14:41

Thanks pee yes definitely up for a float around tonight, especially seeing as it's rather hot round here today!

CarrotPuff · 04/05/2016 19:46

pee I've got the cash out from the cash machine and walked away without the said cash. Luckily a guy sitting not far from the machine asked if I'd forgotten something. It was a 100 quid.
