We're handholding for the newly graduated viroids and handing out hooyahs to badly behaved miroids. Between womble pains and boobs with veins, some of us are still managing to shag! It's JS Grads 47!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 47th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 46th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 60th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Haha. Think maybe you need a hooya zyla!! Though I can't talk, my bedside drawer still houses my 5 frers and multiple ics.

fruit NCT was good. We did induction last night so very relevant for me. Learnt a few things too and got plenty of ideas for trying to bring things on before induction. It's hard as dh and I have decided not to mention ivf so of I have a qn that involves the ivf part of things I can't ask it! The group all seem really nice and I think I even have the names sorted for everyone!

KateBeckett · 28/04/2016 11:15

Haha! zyla I was the same- I think I did my last test at about 11 weeks Blush

Thanks fruit ! That is reassuring. Just on the way for our second growth scan, gx babybeckett has followed his line!!

CountryGal4 · 28/04/2016 11:27

Any bumps or lurky grad grads fancy a Bristol ish meet up give me a pm!

SockQueen · 28/04/2016 12:09

No fruit I haven't been added - had a PM from Carrot but haven't heard anything since then.

Great news about the frog baby MyBlackCat - will keep gx for you for the next few weeks!

ZylaB · 28/04/2016 15:57

Got my first appointment for 18th May joint diabetes/antenatal clinic. I'll be 7+1 (according to me) then and I know they'll do a sca, will we be able to see the heartbeat then? I know that'd calm me down a bit..

Peenut · 28/04/2016 16:02

Excellent news Black and Sock! A boybee and frog!

Step away from the sticks Zyla! Although it's so satisfying watching those dark lines appear! The midwife told me off when I said I'd been saving the other half of my posh digital test to do in a few weeks time. She told me to get a grip and save it for my second baby! Still peed on it anyway

Good news on healthy growth spurt Fruit! And I always maintain holding on to a large poo can bump your weight up by at least half a stone! Wink

SockQueen · 28/04/2016 18:07

Yes, you should be able to see a heartbeat at 7+1 Zyla - though be warned it's likely to be an internal scan!

FuzzyOwl · 28/04/2016 19:00

Still testing at 13 weeks and counting Zyla, even though I know full well it has no bearing on whether a miscarriage has happened or not.

ZylaB · 28/04/2016 19:57

Thanks sock I've had dildocam before last time so I'm prepared for it!

Thanks for not making me feel weird about all the testing fuzzy!

Canters15 · 28/04/2016 20:16

Congrats sock! A boybee!! Were you expecting that? I think mine is a boybee but we'll see in 9 weeks.

Brilliant black. Hurrah for little frog.

zyla I am another crazy tester. Dh basically had to stage an intervention to stop me doing more tests in the end. It's just so satisfying.

KateBeckett · 28/04/2016 21:48

All this talk of testing is making me want to crack one out! Grin

Babybeckett has followed his line and is still 10th centile. Doctor wasn't happy though, so I have to go back again in 2 more weeks. She said 'well, baby has grown, but slowly... We will need to see you again to make sure it doesn't drop off the graph...' Hmm I thought if he was following his centipede line it didn't matter that he was smaller? Someone has to be surely?!

pee how is your arm after the jab? Mine hurt for a good 3 days...

lildottie · 28/04/2016 22:02

Kate it's just because he is on 10th and going below 10th can suggest issues so they need to keep an eye on him in case. That said please don't worry, my niece was something like 5th-9th centile and is now a perfectly healthy 20month old! She was only 6lb something when she was born but nothing wrong with her at all. Like you say, someone has to be below for there to be an average! Mine is only on 13th now, up from 10th a few weeks back so you may find GE catches up and they've just caught him right before a growth spurt.

Peenut · 29/04/2016 10:04

Sounds like they are just being cautious Kate, so if you fall into a category it automatically triggers lots of things the doctors need to do to be on the safe side. Try not to worry and baby Beckett might just be a small wee thing at the moment but perfectly healthy and happy with all the extra womb space :)

The centipede line made me laugh –I don't really get what the centile measurements mean, I just know mums say things like, my baby is on the 37th centipede ...

My arm is OK thanks, there was a girl at Aqua natal who looked like she'd been punched in the arm, massive blue and black bruise from her whooping cough. (I felt like I wanted a bruise to justify my moans about how much it hurt.)

I don't think I said on here but I did do a spectacular fall in the train station at the weekend, on top of the escalator, at the scary bit where the escalator sucks under the bit you walk on to get off. All I could think was PROTECT BABY and ARGH! My fingers are gonna get sucked under, I'll be a fingerless mummy!

The people behind got a good flash of my maternity tights and tried to help me but I was so flustered I just ran off and got on my train ... then had a little sob. Much to the worry of other passengers who looked at me like I was a hysterical pregnant woman. I couldn't stop for ages. Very embarrassing.

Note to self: I am now very clumsy, can't see my foof or much of my feet and shouldn't run for trains. And my knee hurts, ouch.

lildottie · 29/04/2016 20:35

Bloody hell pee hope you and bump are OK! Definitely no running!
Also can't see my food for love nor money but need to find a way to tame the growth! May just have to find time and book a wax!

The centipede is based on survey to give average out of 100 women if that helps I also thought it was odd and asked mw so 50th centile means about 50/100 women measure up to that point and if your there your bang on the average. Higher or lower isn't a bad thing, just an indicating tool.

FuzzyOwl · 29/04/2016 21:24

I don't think it matters either Kate. After all, it means 10 out of 100 babies are smaller. But it is good that you are being monitored and the doctors are making sure everything is ok.

Ouch Pee and I hope you are ok and the tights you flashed were nice ones, without any ladders. I didn't even have a needle mark after my last whooping cough but I could barely raise my arm for several days, so you have my sympathy. Bizarrely it is that jab that I am looking forward to least about pregnancy, with labour coming below!

When my waters went last time lil I was much more interested in convincing DH that he needed to sort out my massive expanse of hair than getting to the hospital! I think fitting in a wax is a good idea.

I have really bad joint pain, mainly in my elbow but also a bit in my knee. I am assuming it is pregnancy related but has anybody else suffered?

lildottie · 29/04/2016 22:00

Ahh fuzzy that made me lol! I reckon if I get the lot waxed off now then buy the time I go in I'll have enough regrowth to not look like a 12yo girl but not enough to look continental/be uncomfortable! Plus I have a £10 voucher to use :)

FuzzyOwl · 29/04/2016 22:16

That sounds like fab planning lil!

lildottie · 29/04/2016 23:08

That or I'm waaaayy over thinking fuzzy!!!! :)

FuzzyOwl · 29/04/2016 23:10

I intend to cooy you, so that makes two of us over thinking if that is what you are doing! Smile

lildottie · 30/04/2016 19:58

Two of us can't be wrong fuzzy Grin

So today I feel like a teenager - I finally got sex for the first time in about 4 months! Sometimes I do miss the jsing days when I could make him shag me by presenting a line on a stick!

Also did a day of daisy birthing today (first day of 2day daisy parenting class) and it was bloody brilliant. Dh found it really useful too which was great. Feel like I finally have some useful info and tools to face labour with induction or not.

And dh is just finishing first coat of main colour in our kitchen. Only thing that could make me happier today is if this cold would do one!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

MyBlackCat · 01/05/2016 20:34

Well done on the js-ing lil Smile we haven't since bfp and to be honest I'm not fussed.

Today I ran 12.4 miles in a 12 hour relay race, it's the last physical commitment I had since bfp. I'm going to continue to run but definitely not that far for a few months, I'm ready for my bed Grin

lildottie · 01/05/2016 21:44

We weren't allowed to until after 12wk scan black due to the previous mc so FC were being very careful, I was t allowed to go swimming either. Then we sorta made up for lost time a bit for a few weeks until dh lost interest some time around 16-20weeks. I'm fairly certain it's because he stopped his vit c that he'd been taking for the ivf once the 12 week scan was OK. He's been back on the vit c (somewhat inconsistently) for a couple of weeks and bam, he instigates sex! Bloody annoying as pregnancy seems to have made me hornier!

Well done on the run! I can barely run for a bus Grin even without a bump! Bet you're glad you have no more committed runs to do!

FeatheredTail · 01/05/2016 22:00

Hello! Sorry I've been a bit silent - been reading though! I need to catch up properly but will be back on the thread properly tomorrow. No news my end - bump is MASSIVE and sleeping is becoming an issue. Argh. Also got some twinges and pains last night....and as soon as I did, I began to panic at the thought of relying on my birthing pool (or tens machine) combined with aromatherapy massage and breathing techniques for pain relief - in fact my first thoughts were "cripes if it gets much worse than this I'll be demanding all the opiates I'm allowed". Doesn't bode too well eh?!

lil get all the sex now whilst you still can; it's too late for me, save yourself! I'm too massive and can't even roll over in bed anymore, let alone try a 'last seduction' out on DH!

Nice work on the 12 miler Black!

lildottie · 01/05/2016 23:02

Oh feathered that made me laugh! You'll be fine, just remember your positioning and breathing and if u want drugs you have drugs. There are no heroes! As for the sexi think dh is planning on breaking out the seamen to evict lilbean so I don't have to get induced - at least he says that now!! Sorry you're struggling to sleep :( I'm living in denial and have decided I won't get any bigger now!

YogaPants · 02/05/2016 08:37

Well done on the running black and the shagging lil! I think it's been months since I attempted either. (Actually I ran to catch the bus on Friday and suffered from it).

I am currently experimenting with ginger as a way of getting g though my last two weeks of work with suspected pgp. A friend who is a mid-wife posted a blog to a herbalist-midwife's recommendations on herbs to help with pregnancy. Ginger is supposed to not only provide help with nausea but also help with pain relief, so I've been incorporating it into my diet this weekend. I am not sure if it is the ginger, the strength building exercises or not being at work but I am not as chair/bed bound as I was during the week so might continue to keep it up. Has anyone else heard this? Even if there is no medical basis for it, a placebo effect is very welcome.
