Argh! I've had four weeks off work- 2 due to the bleed I had and subsequent rest and 2 holiday weeks. Back to work today and so nervous of what people will ask and say. Tummy has popped out so floaty top and scarf might be needed today!

Spottyladybird · 12/04/2016 06:55

Scan not until 4th May (13 weeks) so won't make an announcement until then.

CakeAndChocolate · 12/04/2016 07:32

I will be wearing scarves for the next 4-6 weeks or so (I'd rather tell work as late as possible)!

Fedupithink · 12/04/2016 08:18

I have possibly the most important meeting of my career to date this morning and I feel awful today. Really tired and nauseaus and like my head is in some sort of fog I just can't shake.

Trying to will myself through by thinking I just have to be on-it until 11am and then I can sneak off for a quick toilet nap and some heavy carb loading.

bobcat85 · 12/04/2016 08:19

So sorry to hear that Chat Flowers

bobcat85 · 12/04/2016 08:23

I've got my booking appointment today, hoping I can discuss some of my anxiety with the midwife.

Not sure if anyone else has this but my boobs will sometimes be really sore and then other times will be fine? I'm guessing it's just hormones levelling out as I'm 9weeks today.

Slept for a total of 11 hours last night and I'm still tired.

Jamjar12 · 12/04/2016 08:29

My boobs are fine today Bobcat, the tenderness has been coming and going for me too. I bought new bras because I thought maybe some of it was down to wearing the wrong size. I went from a 36/38 C to a 38D and it's still too small. Will be getting myself a 40DD at some point this week. If they've grown this much in 7 weeks, God knows what I'll look like by the end! It starts to level off right?!?!

Just concerned that I'll be going back to school at least a cup size bigger than before. Half term boob job?!

Beelzebubble · 12/04/2016 08:29

Bobcat my boobs aren't even sore every day anymore. Just the odd day :) and definitely discuss your anxiety. My EPU midwife as been so so SO lovely. I'm a ball of nerves. She never has a "snap out of it" approach with me. She's nothing but kind and understanding :)

bobcat85 · 12/04/2016 08:40

Thanks ladies :) It's mad how much they grow in a few weeks, mine always seem to be in the way hehe.

Completely understand the nerves Beelzebubble. Really wish I could stop being so anxious, my husband is quite optimistic so that's been quite reassuring.

tiredmumrighthere · 12/04/2016 08:47

My boobs are so sore today and my little one keeps knocking them or digging her elbows in Confused this is my 6th pregnancy and I've never had sore boobs so this is all new to me, the worst is at night they hurt so much! My first midwife appointment went well yesterday I see her again on Monday for her to do my bloods.

Nausea is a little better this morning, yesterday evening it was awful, I couldn't eat my dinner I was gagging on it! So had to eat half a box of ice cream cones instead, then I went to bed because I was so fed up of feeling sick.
