I couldn't post on last thread so hope everyone finds this one!

Great pic annaB and what a lucky girl having four big brothers! I always wanted a big brother and not just because I imagined he'd have cute friends

AnnaR hope you're feeling better now. And glad everyone else seems to be doing ok. I turned 17 weeks a couple of days ago and so so so thankful that I'm eventually feeling much better! Absolutely wiped out by the end of the day but able to eat more now so I think energy will be back soon Smile

DH is off today, yay! Family coming for lunch and the sun is out...happy days

Congrats sparkly glad all well. 2 hours, wow! They can be stubborn wee things but great that they could get the scan done and you don't need to go back.

Hope everyone has a good weekend

Congrats on all the scans! It's so exciting.

I went to my first antenatal yoga class last night, it was fun to do some pregnancy specific exercises and it was fun to see all the other mothers in different stages of pregnancy, would recommend it to anyone that's thinking of doing it.

zeeka · 15/04/2016 19:13

Anyone else heading towards a csection? I wanted the birth unit, but no chance now. I had a csection last time (breech twins) so already on the risk list, but also have a fibroid which has really grown since I've been pregnant and may block birth canal. Agh.

The sonographer mentioned possibly removing fibroid during csection... Anyone had this at all?

Lilliana · 15/04/2016 20:30

Lost NDH was fine when I had DD. had one hopeless midwife who was on nights while I was induced but all the rest were lovely and supportive. They didn't rush me out afterwards and I stayed 2 nights after the birth no hassle. It was quiet and a weekend though. No hospitals to compare with but I was happy with them.

I think I have a clear bump but probably just look fat to people who don't know. I've not told my classes though - going to wait and see how big I get before they notice!

Wow, that's so good. Our local one has been cancelled due to lack of volunteers and exhibitors! I am away in Cornwall for the weekend with dh. Having a lovely time and bought the cutest little dress today. Just having a little lie down before heading out for dinner.

Bobbycatz · 17/04/2016 07:52

Ooh well worth going Dani I'm defo going to make an effort to go to my local one.

Sharesinpampers · 17/04/2016 17:48

Hello, hope you've all had good weekends. Can I be cheeky and ask you to take a look at a thread I started in chat?

Congrats on all the scans ! sparks shares blala so jealous as mine isn't for another 4 weeks.

Weekend spent with visiting family and being drowned in baby advice "eat healthily " "don't let your first one get jealous " etc etc

What's the most silly or most useful advice you've had so far ?

SockQueen · 17/04/2016 22:15

I also had a good time at our NCT sale - wonder if it was the same one Danni! Got all this lot for under £50! MiL came with me and also went a bit nuts, though mostly with stuff which won't be needed for several years, but I decided the best path for my sanity was to just let her get on with it.

Good haul! We bit the bullet and ordered our travel system as we called in to mothercare and they had such a good deal on; we bought the maxi cosi stella and got a free pebble car seat. I have then also bought another couple of outfits.. I feel like I've been unleashed ha!

Danni89 · 17/04/2016 22:42

Wow that's brilliant sockqueen!! It maybe been the same one! I'd defo recommend it.. I had a peaceful experience.

MrsCeee · 20/04/2016 14:14

Hi Zeeka, no experience myself but my MIL was unable to have her fibroids removed during her c-section. If I recall correctly, they did shrink post-partum and nearly 2 years later she has not had to have a surgery to remove them yet. I hope that helps.

How are we all doing?
I'm getting an intense, sharp pain in my lower back/buttock on my left side sometimes. I get it (randomly) but it seems to be on days when I've been quite active and it happens when I try to turn, when I put pressure on my left foot to walk. I experienced this when I was pregnant with DS but I don't remember it ever being this painful or frequent Confused. Has anyone else had this?

Annarose2014 · 20/04/2016 15:51

Sounds like sciatica. I had it bad last time, I limped throughout most of it.

I was referred to Physio and got exercises and had manipulations galore with limited success. But it vanished after labour.

It was still a pain in the ass though. Literally!

Dilligufdarling · 20/04/2016 15:55

Hi all,
Can I "rejoin" I was on this club way back in January and then life got a bit hectic!
Hope everyone's enjoying the second trimester now :)
I'm due at the end of September - the most recent (and hopefully final) edd I've been given is 24th.
I had a bit of a scary end to the first tri - I had a really big bleed around 11 weeks (on Mother's Day actually...nice!) which after much scanning and investigating turned out to be something like a Sub Chorionic Hematoma. Since then I've been bleeding on and off, but it does now seem to have stopped touch wood.
Am really looking forward to my 20w scan in about 3 weeks which will hopefully tell us that everything is resolved nicely and all is well...
Smile

Annarose2014 · 20/04/2016 15:56

I'm starting to feel a bit out of puff now, anyone else? Hauling around a 14kg toddler doesn't help!

This is the first week I've felt properly big and lumbering and pregnant. Have a proper bump etc and I'm getting tired a lot quicker. It's all very awkward!

Fingers crossed you don'the have any more bleeding Dilli
We have the same EDD!

Thanks, Anna I keep putting off going to see my GP because it doesn't happen every day (but when it does, boy does it hurt!)

I have a proper bump too now and I caught a few people glimpsing at it in church then stopping themselves from asking if I was expecting again hahaha

I'm also finding myself huffing and puffing after my toddler and having to make up "sitting down" games. Yesterday we spent the afternoon in the garden. He ran around and played whilst I was mostly sitting down Grin

Dilligufdarling · 20/04/2016 16:20

Thanks mrscreee

I had a pain similar to yours at the beginning of last pregnancy and ended up having SPD - I'd always thought the two were linked.

Am not too puffed yet, but due to the SCH I've been banned from lifting or general over exertions... Which is a shame Grin dh has been absolutely lovely though and has let me do anything.

I've been on iron tablets since about 12w - I'm borderline anemic when not PG so it was bound to happen - especially with the bleeding!

Annarose2014 · 20/04/2016 16:31

Oh thank god for the garden! And a big comfy chair and wifi that stretches out that far! You just have to occasionally murmur "Oooh a worm! Wonderful, sweetheart. ..." and they toddle off again.

It'd be bliss if only we were allowed wine!

Dilligufdarling · 20/04/2016 16:35

Hmmmmm wine....
I've just started watching Game of Thrones and all they bloody do is drink red wine (my favourite!) makes me very jealous.

bumpingalong9386 · 20/04/2016 17:17

Hi all,

Do you mind me joining in? I'm having my first and am due on 24th Sept Smile

MrsCeee · 20/04/2016 19:15

Welcome Bumping.
Another one with the same due date! Are you planning on finding out the gender?

Aaah, I feel normal again!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one day dreaming about it! I never once thought of wine during my first pregnancy. But for some reason, I have drooled, ooh-ed and aah-ed at the thought of a nice glass of white wine for weeks now. Luckily DH doesn't drink wine so I've been spared that torture.

MrsCeee · 20/04/2016 19:16

Oh, and Congratulations Bumping!
