Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

I miss wine...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 01/03/2016 22:49

OK now I am going home. MW says she expects to see me again soon. Eeeep. Hope I can sleep as very tired.

CarrotPuff · 01/03/2016 23:29

Good luck tomorrow Country, hope everything goes smoothly!

Sky I hope your cervix starts doing something productive soon!

lildottie · 01/03/2016 23:41

Good luck tomorrow country

sky glad all OK and things seem to be stirring!

Feeling a bit anxious today as mw said my bump is measuring a but small (just below 10th centile) so she needs to find out if my growth scan needs moving forward. Low birth weight and placental failure are both more common in ivf pregnancies according to yesterday's appt so trying not to freak out

Illiria · 02/03/2016 01:15

Lil gx,

Sky exciting times :-)

God all this talk about fanjo topiary trimming when about to pop is terrifying no way I would wax and not going to get DH to help with any grooming. Stuff societal norms, MW can think what they want.

Hobbit19 · 02/03/2016 03:01

Morning all just place marking in order to watch the March Madness unfold, so many babies!! Good luck shaggers and gx for sneeze births all round!

5hell · 02/03/2016 05:59

oooh I wonder how soon is soon sky!?

good luck today Country Grin

agree we shouldn't do it for others ill, but i'm upping the swimming as it feels good and might help with breechy baby and no one needs to see my stragglers right now ;) ...of course some are blessed with a naturally less wild bush (not me!)

lil I assume that's your first measurement?...are they using a personalised growth chart, or generic? I'm are it's fine...10th percentile is still normal, just petite sneeze birth

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/03/2016 06:47

Woop Woop Happy C Day Country! Hope it all goes swimmingly, can't wait to hear all about it!

And gx for lovely sneeze birth for sky too, very exciting. Hope you managed some rest.

lil - 5hell speaks sense. 10th centile doesn't really mean anything, just that your bump isn't massive. Try not to worry, especially as you have extra scans.

Ill that reflects my actual thoughts on birth & bushes. A friend of mine who is a MW did once comment (to me) on the variety of hair you get but always said that no one gives a shit so long as it's clean.

Playgroup, MW appt, make pizzas with DS, sit on arse for rest of day - that's my agenda today.

Good luck march'ers! Let the madness commenced Grin

Mermaid36 · 02/03/2016 07:49

Good luck today Country

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/03/2016 07:59

Good luck today country!

Rested yet still very tired. Miroid has decreed it a duvet day for me. MW said she expects to see me back this week and I certainly hope so. Back is sore and generally feeling a bit ogre like... baby quiet so far this am but she did have a late night. Fanjo feels tender. Still in possession of waters and plug. May attempt seduction of DP later... Grin

lil fundal height measurement notoriously unreliable so try not to panic. Easier said than done I know!

FeatheredTail · 02/03/2016 09:19

Lil my midwife seems to measure from a slightly different point each time...lord knows how it's meant to be an accurate assessment! I would try not to worry. I didn't look noticeably, properly, definitely preggo until 25/26 weeks either.

Go Country!

A really shit night tossing and turning again. Kept sleepily worrying I had been on my back/right for too long and my knees were sprawled out too much. Paying for it now and have red eyes and huge eye bags. NCT until 10pm tonight too! Wahhhh!

TriJo · 02/03/2016 10:34

Same here Feathered re fundal height - she then just seems to write down what seems to be the "right" number for the week anyway.

Best of luck Country :)

If anyone is looking for inspiration for what to pack in the hospital bag may I suggest these fetching ensembles

lildottie · 02/03/2016 13:19

Thanks all. Feeling calmer having had the contents of Google regurgitated to me by dh! They've booked me a scan for tomorrow morning anyway to be on safe side so at least I get to have an extra look at lilbean. Have downloaded a kicks app to try and feel a bit more in control.

sky I don't think I dare look do I?!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/03/2016 13:28

Oh you MUST lil

SecondCupOfTea · 02/03/2016 13:28

Had 38wk appointment today. Not much to report other than a rather uncomfortable medical fisting and induction booked for a week on Friday.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/03/2016 13:38

Just looked at my notes from last night. Minisky 3/5ths engaged! Should probably go for a walk or something but too tired and lazy...

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/03/2016 13:47

Induction booked already Tea? That's keen.
I had my 38 weeks appt today too, baby is 4/5ths palpable so headed in the right direction. Makes me feel a bit less fad about dragging it out early Grin

She'll come when she wants sky, much better for you to be rested than worn out from walking she types from her bed

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/03/2016 15:15

Why for the iduction tea? nosy if you don't mind me asking?

Cheering for country & countrybean...

Yay for extra scan lil please try not to work yourself up. Not good for either of you. Chocolate

Decided against school run. Very uncomfy. Lost a teeny tiny bit of plug. Nearly cried for no reason whatsoever whilst eating sausage sarnie. Too uncomfortable to do anything useful like clearing out cupboards or steam cleaning moses basket. At least I washed the hammock yesterday... need to wait 1 hour before snacking on chocolate... meh.

SecondCupOfTea · 02/03/2016 15:45

Sky High risk of stillbirth after 40 weeks cos of my age, so being induced to stop me going over. The sweep today was to try to get things started, but it's not done anything other than make me think that if I find a sweep so uncomfortable, how will I manage labour!

FeatheredTail · 02/03/2016 16:02

Ha! Wish I hadn't opened that link at work Sky Smile

Hugs for the tears. I hope the sausage sarnie cheered you up.

I don't know how I'm going to handle NCT until 10pm tonight. I'm grumpy.

Discofairypants · 02/03/2016 16:52

Tea that's so close now! So exciting.

Hope you're feeling a bit better now sky

Feathered I'd actually be asleep by 8.30pm! Lots of sweets and chocolate to keep you awake!

Just had whooping cough jab and my arm bloody hurts! Also found out I am anaemic and am being put on a whopping 3 iron tablets a day! Normal for that many? Feel really tearful about it and not really sure why [sceptical]. Suppose I'm quite pissed off that I've felt for weeks on end that my iron was low as I've been so exhausted, grumpy and I look like shit! But they just dismissed me and made me wait until now. Grrr.

Anyway, Enough about me!

Try to relax lil the midwives are often more wrong about these things (from what I hear) but it's great that they are being so cautious. My sister measured very small with her 2nd all the way through and had extra scans for growth which predicted a small baby ... Nephew popped out at 8lb!

Discofairypants · 02/03/2016 16:54

Ha I'm shit at doing smileys!

justtheonethen · 02/03/2016 17:17

Just popping on to cheer on country, hope you have had a wonderfully calm cs and are snuggling a newborn now
