Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Feeling better today, really nauseous this morning, thought I was actually going to be sick after breakfast but didn't quite get to that point yet. Found some ginger ale in the cupboard which sorted me out while and by 1pm I was fine.

Even had a roast dinner and ice cream this afternoon without any drama! Might invest in some ginger tablets I saw recommended somewhere, but for the moment I'll stock up on a bit more ginger ale!

FuzzyOwl · 28/02/2016 19:19

I have been feeling worryingly well today. Hopefully it is just because it is all so early.

Kate I have messaged you about Facebook. If anyone else wants to join, send me a message or let me know if you can't and I will send you one. Smile

floralflower · 28/02/2016 19:46

Hi everyone,
Can't believe it is Sunday night already!
Just wondering what kind of symptoms everyone is feeling at the moment as I'm not sure what is 'normal' Confused

FuzzyOwl · 28/02/2016 19:49

I have had a few cramp/period-like pains and did have some fleeting mild nausea, but on the whole I feel fine. It is still really early days for me though and I know I went through phases of feeling totally normal and others of feeling sick/crampy last time.

KateMossIsMyQueen · 28/02/2016 19:58

My boobs are swollen, I don't think they're actually much bigger yet, but definitely perkier and a bit more solid - like super period boobs. I've been getting twingy pains in my tummy, nothing too out of the ordinary but I think I'm more aware of it at the moment.

No nausea this evening, although I am still drinking ginger ale haha! Back to work tomorrow, I am convinced that people can read my mind and know. It's ridiculous! Praying that DH gets home sooner rather than later, I'll be climbing the walls if I can't tell anyone for another three weeks!!

floralflower · 28/02/2016 20:05

Thanks Smile I have been having mild cramps on and off today and it's been freaking me out! I feel so hyper aware of my body at the moment.

Illyillyilly · 28/02/2016 20:21

I've been having a few cramps and sharp pains, and I'm feeling a bit dizzy, although that may be tiredness. Going to head to bed very soon I think.

floralflower · 28/02/2016 20:29

I know what you mean about tiredness! I have been feeling some faint waves of nausea too at about 4 in the afternoon Confused

mangocoveredlamb · 28/02/2016 20:39

Evening all!

Feeling ok, tired, but I have a two year old. I am getting nauseous if I get too hungry, and my bad hip is playing up a bit, which I expected.
That and the heartburn, which is brutal!
And if I don't go to bed early enough I start to feel hideous!!!

So maybe not that OK!

I'd like to join Facebook, but would like to get a bit further along first if that's ok?

mangocoveredlamb · 28/02/2016 20:48

Oh and I feel like someone's shoving knitting needles up my nipples!! Shock

KateMossIsMyQueen · 28/02/2016 21:16

mangolamb that made me laugh about the nips. And floral totally with you on the hyper awareness, the only blessing about DH being away is that I might have stopped being such a drama llama by the time he gets home and just be this cool, calm, collected, vaguely glamourous and sexy up-duffed lady.

floralflower · 28/02/2016 21:25

lol kate Grin

Summerblaze100 · 28/02/2016 23:47

I'm feeling........nothing. Even the twinges have gone.

Can I tentatively join?
Had a faint positive Saturday and another faint this morning. AF was due last Thursday, the faint lines are worrying me!

I've got a DD who is 2 and before her had two early MCs. Had forgotten how stressful this first stage is!

AlbusPercival · 29/02/2016 08:30

Welcome spotty

i am glad of symptoms, I truly am as I am hope that means I finally have a sticky bean.

But this morning my whole house smells horrific. There is nothing obviously wrong, but each room smells "bad" in some way. I am working form home today Hmm

BearGryllsHasaBigRope · 29/02/2016 09:25

Albus I'm with you on the smells. Everything stinks! I'm like a bloodhound

Thurlow · 29/02/2016 09:31

Hi all, and congrats to all the newbies!

floral, 4pm is my danger time too and was in my last pregnancy. I hated it.

Writerwannabe83 · 29/02/2016 09:35

Morning all and congratulations to all the new BFPs Flowers

No real side effects here. I've had a few crampy stomach aches and shooting pains but no nausea.

My boobs don't feel particularly different but nipples are definitely more tender. I'm still breast feeding DS1 and it is so uncomfortable and in enjoyable now Sad

I just rang my GP Surgery to get an appointment with the midwife but I was told that I have to see the Advanced Nurse Practitioner instead for my booking appointment which sounds a bit odd? Maybe the ANP had to do a PT test to confirm it? I think I will go prepared with a sample Smile

I'm still testing every day, I don't know why as the results are so clearly BFPs but I think it's because it still hasn't sunk in. It doesn't feel real.

KateMossIsMyQueen · 29/02/2016 12:05

I've felt much better today, got 10 hours sleep last night and no morning nausea. Was almost starting o feel jealous of your wolf smelling, like it was some sort of pregnancy super power, until a lady two desks down from me reapplied her lipgloss and the smell did not go down well with my stomach! Gone now thankfully, so for the moment I'll just stay clear of lippys!

Everyone's getting their lunches out at the moment but I always turn into a bit of a monster then anyway about food smells and noises, can't blame my hormones for that one!

Thurlow · 29/02/2016 12:21

The side effects make you so paranoid, don't they?

I feel slightly less tired and nauseous today, which then worries me - even though I'm only 5w, I really shouldn't be wishing on any illness. Plus I've paken some Prochlorperazine, so of course I feel less nauseous. And also I've stopped smoking, so of course I'm completely distracted by that and focusing more on that than on feeling tired.

Still makes you worried though, doesn't it?!

KateMoss, I had that the other evening with DP's mint tea bag. I had to make him get up and take it out of the room because it was making me heave (I say "had to", I could have done it myself but the cat had decided to sit on my lap and as we've only had her 6 weeks I didn't want to disturb this momentous moment...)

Writerwannabe83 · 29/02/2016 12:35

I'm convinced my pregnancy isn't going to end well.

I had my positive OPK on the 10/11th and my CB Digital is still only reading 1-2 weeks.

I have no real symptoms either.

I just have a bad feeling Sad

KateMossIsMyQueen · 29/02/2016 12:41

writer i have everything crossed that your feeling is wrong and you've got a sticky one. I haven't used the week predictor ones but they can't be that accurate can they?

Thurlow congrats on the new cat! Big month for you Grin

BelliniButterfly · 29/02/2016 12:44

Spoke to the doctors receptionist this morning and was given the number for self referral to the midwife. So got my book in in appointment on the 30th March and first scan booked for 28th April. It all seems so far away!

I'm 4+1 so thinking I'm gonna book an early scan when I'm roughly 7 weeks.

Thurlow · 29/02/2016 12:49

Writer, I'm not sure they are really that accurate and they can't going to track how many weeks pregnant you are in that way?

CakeAndChocolate · 29/02/2016 15:08

writer have the lines on your other tests got any darker? An I right in thinking you're not 5 weeks yet? Maybe you've just got a crap batch of digis.

I don't have any symptoms, apart from period pain back ache and the odd sharp twinge. I'm 4 weeks today.

I'm being a whimp about the FB page and worried it will show up on my timeline, have others joined so far and is it "safe"? Nobody has started texting you with congratulations messages??!
