Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Thank you for all the kind thoughts. My stomach pain has gone so I really really hope it was nothing to do with pregnancy. However, I don't have any symptoms at all today which is worrying. I've also managed to come down with an annoying cough in the night, so been up loads in the night. I just really really hope everything is ok but I am so worried. My midwife appointment is next week, so I will have a chat with her about how I feel.

Hope today goes well for everyone.

Starla268 · 24/03/2016 08:32

Thinking of you fuzzy, look after yourself today x

fuzzywuzzy · 24/03/2016 08:36

Can I tentatively join this group I'm due November 28, I'm 4+3 today, I had a chemical last month at just 5 weeks, so feeling very scared. I haven't actually had a period between my chemical pregnancy and this one so I'm not certain of my dates, I've not booked in with GP yet either, so dates my be a little out.

Fuzzy there's gastro flu type bug going around my youngest had it and it causes stomach cramps and bad diarrhoea, could be that?

FuzzyOwl · 24/03/2016 08:57

Thanks Starla.

Welcome and congratulations fuzzy and I really hope everything goes ok for you. I did have that gastro flu bug a few weeks ago and I have blamed subsequent issues on pregnancy so I hope you are right and it is just the bug lingering instead.

Just taken pregnacare and shortly afterwards feel a bit bleugh. The last few days I have just taken folic acid instead and am now wondering whether my mild symptoms have been caused by pregnacare in the first place and I have never actually had any symptoms! How do I turn the worry off?!

Penguinepenguins · 24/03/2016 09:16

If you find out how fuzzyowl please let me know :) it's just impossible isn't it! I'm hoping I will relax into this a bit more after an early scan and once I see a heartbeat

I am so glad your feeling better this morning as I was quite worried about you seeing your messages last night X don't worry about no symptoms though they do come and go for me, yesterday not very much at all for me apart from crying today my boobs feel like rocks and are super itchy!

With pregnacare that used to make me feel a bit grotty until I had a cracker before, I'm taking the max this time and finding three tablets tricky to swallow first thing in the morning, but am powering through on that one!

Take it as easy as you can over the long weekend :) and very glad your feeling better

Starla268 · 24/03/2016 09:31

I've been finding using some relaxation techniques have been helping me both with nausea and worry!

If you google 'guided relaxation' there are some good YouTube videos. Speaking as a mental health nurse and a long term worrier/sufferer of anxiety, with a bit of practice relaxation and mindfulness can be really good at helping let go of worry and anxiety.

Admittedly some days it is easier than others but might be worth making a bit of time to try for all my fellow worriers :)

Drmum123 · 24/03/2016 09:38

Hey
Could I join too please? I got bfp last Friday, so I guess 5 weeks tomorrow. The internet says I will be due Nov 25th, but will be elcs so the week before that I marine. This will be my fourth baby (and definitely my last....although did say that after all but my eldest) DS1 is 6, Dd is 4 and DS2 is 2 next month. Feeling v queasy and tired. My sister was all set to take youngest to the zoo today...and I was looking forward to child free day. But eldest got diarrhoea! We now in bed together drinking lemonade and watching narnia. This has started a whole discussion on world war two and Hitler that I don't have the energy for! Hope everyone feeling well.

RainbowPickle · 24/03/2016 09:58

Morning! Hope you're ok Fuzzyowl, I've been thinking about you Thanks hello to newbies too. I've got a day off work and am planning to stay in pj's with my dd watching TV. I'm taking oestrogen and progesterone to support my pregnancy and once those kick in the nausea waves roll on in. I actually braved a decaf coffee first the first time in a week, fingers crossed!

Tidythatmess · 24/03/2016 11:05

fedup I have a terrible cold too, went to boots to be told there is nothing I can take for it 😟. I want to crawl under the duvet and sleep but my children are off school today.

RainbowPickle · 24/03/2016 11:58

Tidy you can take paracetamol - better than nothing? Real honey and lemon juice mixed in hot water? Failing all else hide under the duvet / hope you feel better soon, I'm just over a horrified cough Thanks

ScottishGirlx · 24/03/2016 12:11

Fuzzyowl - I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today. Completely with you on the worrying, I suppose it's part of the process Confused

Hello and congratulations to all the new comers Smile Hope you're all feeling ok.

Fuzzywuzzy we have the same due date! I also went through a similar situation in Jan and so understand how you're feeling.

I'm 4+3 and feeling knackered after not having a good sleep for a week or so. Also woke up feeling really sick during the night but thankfully no vomming - I'm scared for the 6 week nausea Shock Boobs aren't very sore but sometimes I find myself with random stabbing type pains in them..

Anyone have any suggestions for a good pregnancy app to download? I've got Ovia and Babybump at the moment but wondered if there are any better ones?

Thurlow · 24/03/2016 12:31

Tidy, you can definitely take paracetamol, I know it's not the same as ibuprofen and decongestants but hopefully it would take the edge off it?

Fuzzy, glad you are feeling a bit better today. There's so much going on down there that there are likely to be random pains, but they are still so worrying. Is there any chance it could be your bladder or something like that?

Hello and congrats to all the newbies!

Scottish, I had a quick look at Emma's Diary but was too busy laughing at its advice to actually pay attention Grin

I am soooo tired today. I was reading an article recently where someone said at one point they were so tired they couldn't even be bothered to lift their arm in the shower to rinse their hair. God, I feel like that today! Roll on the 4 day weekend. Blissfully DP is actually off for all four days (police, this has never happened before) so I've got help wrangling DD.

Canters15 · 24/03/2016 13:10

Hello newbies!

Omg the tiredness. I crawled into bed and slept for 2 hours when I got back from work yesterday. Exhausted. Nearly vommed in my car this morning- that would be the fabled morning sickness then! Am properly off tea now as well as coffee, which is highly distressing.

Got a letter from the midwives today confirming i'll get a booking appointment soon- oddly excited.

AlbusPercival · 24/03/2016 13:13

agree with tiredness.

I am wfh today and instead of lunch took a nap break.

Thurlow · 24/03/2016 13:46

I can see that coming, Albus Grin I've only had a 2 day week this week, thanks to the norovirus, and then next week is a 4 day week with one day wfh because of my booking in appointment, but the week after - a 5 day week at 10 weeks? I can't imagine...

Jade1212 · 24/03/2016 14:23

Afternoon all, definitely agree on the tiredness! Though mine seems to be easing up a bit which is both nice and worrying! Still testing positive though so FC I'm just having a lucky day!

fuzzywuzzy · 24/03/2016 15:03

Pregnancy+ is a really good app but you have to pay for it after a couple of trimesters.

I'm using the ovia pregnancy app and nurture app

FuzzyOwl · 24/03/2016 15:37

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. It really does mean a lot. I am still completely symptom free and my mind seems pretty sure that I have miscarried again but we will see. Hopefully my midwife will take my concerns seriously next week when I see her and I will know by this time next week.

Jade1212 · 24/03/2016 15:42

Aw FuzzyOwl I'm sorry you feel that way, symptoms fluctuate so maybe it's not time to give up just yet, but I also hope you're taken seriously by MW x

likeawestern · 24/03/2016 15:49

I can't deal with the community stuff on the nurture app!! Makes me want to punch people!! I got a little app happy and downloaded 5. Pregnancy+ is my fav, don't know how I feel about having to pay in a couple of weeks though. Babybump is my second favourite, the rest are being deleted I think.

Hello newbies, glad you're feeling better fuzzy

likeawestern · 24/03/2016 15:50

Thinking of you Fuzzyowl Thanks

fuzzywuzzy · 24/03/2016 16:02

Fuzzyowl, not sure how sound my suggestion is, could you maybe take a pregnancy test see?

Or go into to you EPU, tell them you've had abdominal pains, they'll do tests. Hopefully put your mind to rest.

The nurture community part is a bit much, i don't go into it too much.

FuzzyOwl · 24/03/2016 16:09

Thanks for the suggestion fuzzywuzzy but I think a test will be positive regardless. I had a mmc a couple of years go (no bleeding but also no symptoms) and it took almost five weeks after an ERPC to get a negative test, so I wouldn't put much confidence in it. Then again, I did have fairly constant dull stomach pains then and (apart from a constant pain yesterday) I haven't had that this time.

Sorry for the gloomy posts and I will try to be optimistic over the weekend. I have just prodded my boobs so hard to see if they are sore that they do slightly hurt now, so maybe I can pretend that is a symptom!

Thurlow · 24/03/2016 16:13

Flowers Fuzzy

Hightyy117 · 24/03/2016 16:22

Hello and congratulations newbies!
Had my bloods done this morning, have to wait til Tuesday for the results! Still red spotting, can't bring myself to do another test, really really hoping but know deep down. Feeling like I'm stuck in limbo and the 5 day wait is already agonising. Just want to definitely know.
Glad the pain has gone for you fuzzyowl and hope all is well, symptoms can come and go.
