Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

littlegrey I am also hugely bloated and so windy! Blush stomach is huge and walking home from work I was popping almost the whole way. it gets better when I pop but then I eat and I blow up again Shock

tea I am really sorry to hear about your mom. It was me that said about EDs and its reassuring to hear your experience. Visited my best friend this eve who had her first in December and she's been really supportive and knows all about my EDs and just keeps telling me to eat. I am technically underweight (although for the last year or so I've been the healthiest I've been for a long time) and I really don't want anything to go wrong because of it. Only just underweight though so hoping the constant eating now might rectify that a bit.

Welcome to newbies and congrats! Hope we all start to feel a bit less sick/balloon like/exhausted soon!

Chocolatteaddict1 · 11/03/2016 11:06

Hello ladies hope your not feeling too rough! I had a six week scan this morning and it's got a tiny little heartbeat Grin

little I'm so windy too! I'm really going to watch what I eat today to see if anything is triggering it off.

Hope your all well lovelys 💗

Hi guys. Pleased to have somewhere to talk. Dh and I are debating when and who to tell. Last time were were so worried we kept totally quiet until 12 weeks but this time I'm not as worried but think of everyone knows it might get quite boring? Dunno.

Seriously feeling crampy. I hope this is normal. I have had a jam packed morning with ds and then a good cry (who knows why). Now say happily eating carbs.

How exciting about your scan chocolate :-)

BumblebeeBum · 11/03/2016 11:54

Congratulations Chocolate! The best news!

You're making me reconsider my resolve to not get a scan til 8 weeks (only 4 weeks now so seems age away!)

FuzzyOwl · 11/03/2016 11:58

Lovely scan picture Chocolate.

For anyone who isn't already but wants to be, send me a PM with your Facebook email address if you want to join the secret FB group.

JadeT2 · 11/03/2016 12:05

Anna, when we were deciding who to tell the first time we both told our parents and a few of our closest friends, one of whom happens to be my boss. Then when I had a mc at 6 weeks I was quite grateful that these people already knew because they helped and looked after me without question.

It really depends entirely on how you feel. Some people are really quite put off by telling people early on, but the way I saw it was that they were the sort of people I would want for support.

Tidythatmess · 11/03/2016 13:01

Oh wow a scan picture already! How cute! Only 2 weeks until my early scan, can't wait although extremely nervous.

Hugs for to tea and baby, those who have recently lost their mum or dad, such an emotional time Sad

I feel dizzy and nauseous in the mornings, generally ok around lunchtime/early afternoon then nauseous, grumpy and shattered in the evenings. I'm such a pleasure to be with!

Am craving crisps and salty chips, and last night was randomly craving a gin and tonic lol. Got to stop thinking about that one!!!

Am bloated all the time. Has anyone done any exercise? I was up until this week but can hardly get the energy to walk to the fridge so no chance.

BumblebeeBum · 11/03/2016 13:34

Ive already PMed Owl :)

Chocolatteaddict1 · 11/03/2016 13:44

Thanks guys it's through IVF so I get to have a peek early.

anna I was crampy the other night to the point it work me up, I was convinced my AF was in the way. Luckily no spotting and the nurse said today it was most likely stretching pains do try not to worry X

tidy I've still been using my kettle bell but tweeked versions as I don't want to blow up like I did with dd2.

I've been having a banana and oat smoothie for breakfast which is ok to get down but after six pm I can't eat anything, other people food makes me wretch and I'm crazy tired, even passed up a back massage of Dh Shock

Can't bloody wait! We're all going to have a new addition to our family by Xmas !

Moggysinger · 11/03/2016 16:09

fuzzy is it completely private? Would hate anything to come up on my wall!

Anna we don't know who to tell and when either! I'm thinking we'll wait a bit longer yet, maybe start telling people in a couple of weeks. Want to tell close family soon but it doesn't feel very real yet and I don't want to get everybody's hopes up just in case something should go wrong. Not that there's any particular reason why it should - I'm starting to realise I am an extreme worrier!!

Wow how lovely chocolate! Seriously considering going private for a scan as got 7 weeks til nhs one and 5 weeks til booking in apt Sad (I thought it was going to be 8 weeks for bloods but they changed their minds again!) All too far away! Just got to see what dh thinks about paying privately ...

tidy a few days before I got my bfp I went out for a run and really struggled but this week's run was the best I've done for a while! Going to try and go again at the weekend. Also trying to keep up with yoga practice. Know what you mean about the energy thing though. I'm normally a night owl and now I'm knackered by 7pm!

FuzzyOwl · 11/03/2016 16:25

Yes Moggy. It will come up in your notifications (unless you turn them off) but nobody else will be able to see you are in the group as it is secret rather than closed.

I have decided on a private scan at eight weeks. I just don't feel pregnant and this worries me. So, that means a scan in a fortnight and I really hope everything is ok.

Bumble I have PM'd you as I haven't received anything from you.

Will add everyone who has messaged today as soon as I get home and have my laptop on. Smile

Chocolatteaddict1 · 11/03/2016 16:29

I'm not being ignorant I've closed my account down but will probally give in sooner or later

FuzzyOwl · 11/03/2016 17:26

That's ok Chocolate. It is totally voluntary and you can always join later into your pregnancy. Smile

Lynn5 · 11/03/2016 19:57

Right.....so.....finally I think I might join?!!!

Got my first ever BFP a week ago today after 5 years of fertility treatment. Conceived with a frozen cycle. In the space of that week I've had 2 bleeds, one light and one massive (clots and all) had hcg bloods 2 trips to acs clinic and 1 scan!!! Went from thinking I'm pregnant (finally) to thinking I've miscarried at least on 3 different occasions!!!!

So where I'm at now is, After first bleed and bloods I got a really high reading (indicating multiples) so got in for scan, would be between 4/5 weeks, should be nearer 5 weeks though. And sure enough 2 sacs, one with yolk sac and one empty( was told this early on they weren't looking for heart beats etc, more to check for multiples and see where bleeds are coming from). So I've to go back in 3 weeks to check for any progress on the 2 sacs and they also couldn't see where any bleeding was coming from.

So I think I'm still pregnant??!!!! Also had cramps more or less since transfer and sickness, sore boobs etc!!!!

Fedupithink · 11/03/2016 20:21

Hi everyone,

Mind if I tentatively join? I got my BFP on Tuesday night, clear blue digital said 2-3 weeks and based on LMP I'm 4+5. Makes my due date 13th Nov.

This will be my first. I had a mc last February which was complicated by retained products and a haemorrhage and we'd only just started trying again so fell on cycle 2.

Just so nervous about every twinge. I'll be having an early scan at 6 week due to the issues last time but it seems like a lifetime away.

FuzzyOwl · 11/03/2016 20:32

Congratulations Lynn especially after such a long journey. I hope everything shows to be fine when you go back for your scan.

And congratulations Fedup I hope everything goes well for you.

pickledsausage · 12/03/2016 06:35

So sorry to those who have recently lost parents, what a horrible time it must be :(

tidy I find just a tonic water tastes enough like a g&t to help that craving!

chocolate your scan is amazing!

Welcome lynn and fed, wishing you happy healthy pregnancies!

I'm away this weekend for my wedding anniversary and so grateful to be feeling well still, although am awake super early, can't use the hot tub in our room and couldn't taste wine on a trip yday Grin it will all be worth it xx

pickledsausage · 12/03/2016 06:37

H0p3 · 12/03/2016 06:53

pickled happy anniversary! I am also awake super early as seem unable to sleep beyond about 5:30 at the moment! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 12/03/2016 06:56

Hi Lynn and fed. Fx for a happy, healthy 9 months!

Just done my clear blue digi and it came up with 2-3 so fitting well with my dates rather than lmp. Do you think as the two are So different (3.5 weeks) they might offer an early dating scan? Is it terrible to play a bit dumb as to when I ovulated in the hope?!

I've developed a horrid bunged up nose which was a symptom in my last pregnancy too. So attractive when combined with the bloating, wind, nausea and heartburn. And I'm not even 5 weeks yet!

floralflower · 12/03/2016 08:48

Hi all and new bfp. I am reading the thread every day but it's been ages since I last posted due to work being HECTIC! I am hopefully having an early scan this coming week so I'm feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement. Anyone else having an early scan?

FuzzyOwl · 12/03/2016 09:03

Happy anniversary pickled.

I toyed with that idea littlegrey but I decided I probably couldn't pull it off and my LMP puts me a week ahead anyway.

I did a Clearblue this morning and it said 3+ which has helped put my mind at rest for half an hour or so because it was 2-3 this time last week. I think I am six weeks today based on ovulation. I just so hope this one sticks and everything is ok.

FuzzyOwl · 12/03/2016 09:05

floral I think I will have an early scan in two to three weeks. I want to be definitely past eight weeks but have enough time to deal with anything being wrong before I go away on holiday next month if necessary.

Moggysinger · 12/03/2016 09:10

Ahh happy anniversary pickled!!

Yes please if you could add me to your spreadsheet. My stats are moggy, 30, no DC, west Midlands, edd 7 Nov, booking in apt on 16.4.16. Thank you!

Moggysinger · 12/03/2016 09:15

fuzzy I did a clear blue this morning too! Great minds! Didn't have a digi in the house but the cross came up so quickly that it's put my mind at rest for hopefully a little longer. Hope you feel better after doing yours.

Do you mind me asking why you are waiting until after 8 weeks for scan? When I looked up private it seemed to be saying you can have one from 6 weeks onwards?
