Hi pod and congratulations.

I feel ok today which is worrying me. I was really thirsty yesterday evening though and am still very early. I need to back away from the ICs as I tested earlier and have worried myself because it was faint, despite knowing full well I have been up for the loo loads in the night.

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 11:19

Well I managed a potato waffle and glass of lemonade

This gave me the energy to hoover the living room and put some pasta on for the dcs lunch

Still feel a bit grim though and my back is sore

pandaglasses · 28/02/2016 11:51

I finally realised the thread has moved! I'd love to join the fb group please! I'm still in the group from when my ds was born and regularly meet a few mums in real life. It has been such a life saver. Who do I pm?

pandaglasses · 28/02/2016 12:00

Figured it out. Sent you a PM its

Pixie1988 · 28/02/2016 12:34

Hi can I join the Fb group as well please Smile

Snowberry86 · 28/02/2016 12:57

#1 due on 23rd October (I think). Dates are a bit muddled due to irregular cycle.

Pregnancy number 3, first 2 didn't make it past 5 weeks so hoping as I'm now 6 weeks this one will stick around.

missybct · 28/02/2016 13:17

I've sent a PM for FB group - although tbh I use MN probably more Grin

We're all at different stages aren't we - the 6 weekers are now hitting the sickness, some of us at 8 weeks are still vomming - I'm 9 weeks exactly today with not many symptoms to report at all. My only symptom is sore back, we stupidly went to Lakeside/IKEA and walked around for a good 3-4 hours with a 4 hour round trip. I started to get quite painful period pains too, which freaked me out to the extent where I started crying in the Market Place Blush

For those who are 8-9 weeks, what are your symptoms?

I've noticed over the last week that the MASSIVE mood swings I had at 8 week mark have completely gone (they really worried me, I almost dissociated), I don't feel as sick or gaggy at thought of things BUT constipation has ramped up considerably!

wondermoose · 28/02/2016 13:38

Decided to try painting with ds this morning 🙈 is stupidity a pregnancy symptom? ? Kitchen covered in paint and two awful 'pictures' for mil for mothers day

Fraggleface · 28/02/2016 13:40

I'm 8+2 today, still feeling sick pretty much all day with only slight relief when I eat, and I am absolutely exhausted despite several naps this weekend already. Although last night I slept really badly, woke several times from 2am onwards. Anyone else struggling to sleep through the night?

I think dp is starting to get a bit impatient with me but I just can't face doing anything. Really hope this goes away soon!

Btw I don't use Fb so will be staying on here Smile

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 13:42

I am building up to braving the park with the dcs

7+1 nausea at its worst. Back pain at it's worst and so bloody tired.

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 13:42

Yay fraggle!

TheCake · 28/02/2016 13:47

Missybct I am 9 weeks 4 days today and my nausea has eased a bit and my boobs are less sore. I feel great in the morning but as the day goes on I feel more sick and exhausted. I am useless after 6pm! Bloating and constipation are easing as well.

fish88 · 28/02/2016 14:09

missy I'm 9+6 and my nausea has lessened as long as I eat little and often but constipation is worse.

climbingcheesecake · 28/02/2016 14:10

Missy I am also 9 weeks today! My worst was weeks 5-7 when I had really bad nausea and complete exhaustion. I feel much better now, which is worrying, but do have a almost constant mild nauseous feeling, am still more tired than usual and boobs are a bit sore in the morning. I also can't do my jeans up when I am sitting down anymore, and have to take my bra off as soon as I get in the house.

itsallgoodfun · 28/02/2016 14:13

I've replied to everyone I think. If anyone still wants to join the fb group pm me and I'll sort it X

mrspod89 · 28/02/2016 14:15

I'm exactly 9 weeks today according to my early scan at 6+5 so due 2nd October. I've had zero nausea or sickness and feel totally normal, if it wasn't for the early scan I wouldn't believe I was pregnant! My boobs are feeling slightly heavier and bra is a bit tight, I'm naturally an F cup so a bit worried about how big they are going to get! Bloated most of the time and discreetly having to undo my jeans at my desk at work but bought some long tops to cover. I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow and my DH is coming with me, my mum said he probably doesn't need to go but I'm worried that I'm going to faint if they take blood (happened before) and its better if he drives back, I've said just come to this first one and I'll go alone for the rest. Counting down the days until my scan on the 15th March! I would like to join the FB group if I can too please Smile

Grumpelstiltskin · 28/02/2016 15:04

Missy I'm 8+2 and am still quite symptom-free though I feel pretty tired in the evenings. Can also get quite bloated between dinner and bed and stomach goes quite hard. Not sure how long I have left in my skinnies, have been sneakily undoing the button while sitting at my desk for a while now!

Boobs still a bit sore on and off but am attributing that to the progesterone I'm on. They are def a bit bigger though.
Like mrspod I've had zero sickness or nausea but am ALL ABOUT the carbs even more than usual and am not at all fussed about veg- not off them so much as just don't fancy anything of that ilk.

JulietteL · 28/02/2016 15:07

I'm 2 days shy of 8 weeks. I had really bad cramps, sore boobs, insomnia and backache from weeks 4-6: all of which has now abated quite a bit - except for the sore boobs which I still have. Main symptoms now are the massive, tender boobs, extreme thirst, tiredness, excessive wind and a constant underlying nausea (but no actual vomming yet, thank god).

In the last week I've had quite sharp pains in my abdomen every now and again. But in the absence of any bleeding or spotting I'm just trying to ignore it.

Early scan on Saturday: it couldn't possibly come soon enough!

Huge sympathies for those that are going through this with toddlers etc. At least when I feel grim I can go to bed!!!

Figgygal · 28/02/2016 15:57

I'm 8+3 today worrying endlessly about lack of symptoms and then remember the horrible taste in mouth, the painful boobs from couple weeks ago, the fact my jeans now do not require a belt, the constipation and then think what am i worried about?

That 12 hour sleep last night totally sorted me out I'm feeling awesome today!!

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 16:22

Back from the park, think the fresh air did me good, just had some toast and now another cup of tea

Need to tidy up but could do with a nap

leoniethelioness · 28/02/2016 16:34

Ladycrazycat Glad it's not just me!

I gave in and bought a new bra last week as none of mine fit! I've now accepted that I can't get through the next seven months with just one bra so will be buying new ones soon. Do they have to be non wired? I only wear under wired ones and all the ones without wires look like they're for teens?! Or at least they did in John Lewis.

I've been really tired all weekend and have developed such a sweet tooth. I've not been able to drink tea in weeks but I'm going to try one with a teaspoon of sugar to see how that goes down. I think I've been lucky with the nausea (barely any, just when I feel hungry) but have had some food aversions and have had a really sharp pain in my back/lower hip every evening for the last week. Do you think it's pregnancy related?

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 16:37

Dd has fallen asleep

Do I

A) have a nap

Or

B) tidy up

leoniethelioness · 28/02/2016 16:37

Please can someone also PM me about the Facebook group? Thanks!

Gurzleburg · 28/02/2016 16:41

I'm having a minor freak out here and I'm wondering if any of you having their 2nd, 3rd etc can tell me this is totally normal.
I'm 6 +4 today and I've been able to feel my uterus for over a week already. It definitely is that and not bloating as it's confirmed by my OB. I foolishly googled this morning and it seems this is pretty unusual as it's normally still behind the pelvic bone. On Wednesday I was comforted by my OB saying I felt nice and pregnant-that's a good thing right?! She did 'joke' that maybe I was a month further along than I thought but did then say most likely not. I'm now panicking that maybe it wasn't a joke, or (and this is where I'm freaking out) it could be twins?????!!!!!! My sensible side is thinking/hoping that it's just because it's my 2nd pregnancy so my uterus is already stretched. She was very keen for me to have my early scan last week but DH couldn't make it. I'm now wondering if it's at the back of her mind too but she didn't want to freak me out! Argh tell me this has happened to the rest of you and DR Google is just stupid...

I'm also going to stay off Facebook for a bit but might join in the 2nd trimester.

Afreshstartplease · 28/02/2016 17:18

Baby 4 here and I can't feel mine

However, in my second pregnancy I was about 14 weeks and my midwife couldn't feel it! She back dated my pregnancy because of it and then it got changed back at a scan
