Fizzy that sounds like a great appointment, glad all tests were clear.

I've just been using normal body lotion for my odd dry patches. My biggest annoyance at the moment is that I barely finish shaving my legs before they feel like they need doing again.

Christine the scan pics look like mine, so I say girl.

Bear we have picked our buggy (not ordered it though) and I'm going to order our rental bed next this weekend as the price goes up next week, but not really bought much else. I'm waiting until after our 20 week scan just to make sure everything is ok.

I'm so pleased today, my bump has appeared!! It honestly wasn't there on Wednesday, but I'm 18 weeks today and out its come Smile

Fizzyboo · 26/02/2016 22:21

Pickle well I thought this too. He has a Fitbit that has a vibrate alarm function, it vibrates too when someone rings your phone, but he sleeps straight through it... Maybe a pillow might be better? I'll have a look for alarms for the deaf, that might be the best bet!

Fizzyboo · 27/02/2016 09:06

And thanks Lily! I was so relieved!

quitecrunchy · 27/02/2016 09:33

Got my harmony results back yesterday - have gone from 1:77 chance of Downs to

FourForYouGlenCoco · 27/02/2016 10:13

Fizzy your appt sounds fab, glad it went so well.
lily baby must be having a growth spurt, we need a bump pic now! So nice when you pop out, makes it all more real somehow.
crunchy that is just fantastic news, so so pleased for you! Panic over and hurray for your little girlie!

Maternity shopping here today too, desperately need some trousers! Most of my stuff from DD is work clothes so no good for me now, trip to H&M is well overdue. Just need to get off the sofa and get ready! Love weekends Grin

Crunchy snap, I got my results back today and the risk is the same, low risk for everything, I'm over the moon! Congratulations to you too, enjoy shopping.

I'm going to try going to the cinema today, hoping I'm well enough, but I think I should be ok

Fizzyboo · 27/02/2016 12:22

Congrats crunchy & Lily!!! Great news! Grin

Clarab0w · 27/02/2016 12:26

hi ladies, have been a bit hectic at work so a bit behind on goings-on but so, so happy that all the results and scans have been coming back all-clear for everyone - crunchy and lily, amazing harmony results! hope you're celebrating this weekend with margaritas and oysters crumpets and lemon barley.

tempted to moan about how boring being pregnancy is, going-out-wise, but last night felt the first few definite kick/ taps, which was pretty much the best friday night i've ever had!

bearhuggy, sorry if you've told me this already, but where are you doing your NCT classes?

in case it helps itchy, scratchy, stretchy bits and pieces, i've been using weleda's stretch mark oil. can't vouch for how it works on stretch marks but it feels and smells great, and i've stopped clawing at my belly and hips now!

This discharge though is taking over my life. I feel like I've wet myself basically every time I stand up!

Sophia1984 · 27/02/2016 17:19

So pleased to her your harmony results lily and crunchy!
Anyone else got their 20 week scan coming up? Mine isn't until the day before I'm 20 weeks so have 2 and a half weeks to wait..

Got 3 days off work this week. My best friend is coming up from London with her little girl and we're going to stay at my parents' house in the country. Will be so nice to have a bit of a relax :-)

Also booked myself in for my hospital antenatal class and tour, and a class on water birthing.

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend x

quitecrunchy · 27/02/2016 18:36

Brilliant news lily! (raises a glass of lemon barley) Here's to our girls! Thanks too for the kind words everyone.

Christine I know, it's been getting worse every day for me recently!

PickleBot · 27/02/2016 18:48

I'm going to be selling some maternity clothes in the next couple of weeks, would anyone here be interested before I put them up on eBay? I've got a small bundle of size 14 dresses and tops and a large bundle of size 16 dresses, tops and skirt. It's all been through 1 or 2 pregnancies, but it's in good nick. Most of it is either new look or jojo maman bebe.

strandedabroad · 27/02/2016 19:33

Lily and Crunchy, smashing news.

The Harmony test is such a breakthrough - a few years ago it would have been trickier to get reassurance Smile

I'm enjoying a quite weekend! I feel so much better lately. My only complaint is that my tailbone/coccix is quite sore most of the time. Not painful, but not pleasant. Not sure if it's a common symptom at all, I'll have to see what happens.

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Lily what are you going to see?

16+4

TattieHowkerz · 27/02/2016 21:25

Hi everyone,

Just catching up on this thread. Good to see things seem to be going well.
I'm 15 weeks now. We've told DD, who is very excited and sweet (loves kissing my bump and telling the baby she loves it). I get frequent scans as higher risk, had one during the week and all was looking good. To my suprise I can already feel the baby if I poke around at the bottom of the bump, don't remember being able to do that with DD til later on, but maybe it is just because I know what I am looking for? Also feeling some movement from time time time, but very slight, like being prodded.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 28/02/2016 10:01

lily so pleased for you too, fab news all round!
clara lovely to feel those first little movements Smile
Sophia my 20 week scan is a week on Friday, will be 20 weeks exactly. Looking forward to seeing how much baby's grown! It's coming round so fast. Your getaway break sounds lush, there's something about being looked after by parents that's so comforting, even now.
Pickle not my size sadly, sorry!
Tattie it might be that baby is higher up this time so easier to feel?? And I think knowing what you're feeling for does make a difference, with movements too. Glad all is well with you and bump Smile

Successful shopping trip yesterday, maternity wardrobe pretty much there now I reckon. We are thinking of not using any contraception after this one arrives and just cracking on with trying for baby number 3, so hopefully I'll get plenty of use out of them! Anyone else thinking ahead already?!

strandedabroad · 28/02/2016 10:58

Oh Coco how exciting!! I did mention to DH the other day that if everything goes well we should have another one pretty soon. I don't want a big gap (also I'm no spring chicken so I might not be able to afford it).

So far I've loved being pregnant, but then again the most difficult part is yet to come and it's our first so I have no idea how I'll feel once the baby is here.

Keeping our options open I guess! Smile

Christinedonna · 28/02/2016 11:14

I've said since the beginning we should have another straight away and they can grow up together but OH isn't convinced

OwlinaTree · 28/02/2016 12:51

Wow, can't believe you are planning the next already! If all goes well I'll have 2y 5m between my 2, hoping that will be OK. We were originally going to go for a 2y gap, but for work/career related purposes decided to delay TTC by a few months. Luckily it worked out OK as in was very quick to get pg this time! Think a very small gap is hard to manage if you do want to keep a career up. However if you are planning a career break to raise children, a small gap is probably better.

Jw35 · 28/02/2016 13:12

Hi everyone! Been a bit busy with stomach bugs in my house!
Pickle those maternity clothes are my size! I might be tempted!
I won't be having another baby, this will be my 3rd and last! There will be a 19 month gap between this one and her big sister Smile that's enough work for me and my eldest is a teenager in September!

Anyone been on holiday with a new baby? I'm thinking of going mid October so the baby will be around 9-10 weeks old! Just Majorca or something about 2 hours flight. Any advice/warnings? Won't book until after the baby's born in case any probs.

I'm 18+1!!!! Where's time going?

OwlinaTree · 28/02/2016 13:36

I've been to Majorca last summer, it was lovely, def recommend it. We are thinking of a holiday too, wondering about October/November dep how we all are and how quick I organise the passport!

Mslg · 28/02/2016 13:36

Aw Crunchy that's great news, you must be so relieved. Delighted for you. Im definitely thinking I would like a short gap between this one and the next one, for sure.

I'm 17+1 today and feeling the bump coming on. Check it out, is this a small bump or does it look like fat/bloating to you guys? I suffered from eating issues in my early 20s (recovered now) but still feel a bit self conscious!

OwlinaTree · 28/02/2016 13:56

Definitely a bump there mslg!

PickleBot · 28/02/2016 14:01

Jw I will take some pictures for you.

My DH is convinced that this should be the last one, we have a 5 year gap as conceiving this one took over 2 years. I'm not sure if I want another after this or not. I'm tempted to just not bother with contraception as it's unlikely to happen easily again. I can't see DH agreeing with me though! We always said that once we were done with babies he would get the snip. I haven't really found any contraception I like since I had to come off the pill because of migraines. My coil went walk about, I hate condoms, not dexterous enough for a cap, and I don't want any hormones. I really wish there was a male pill!

OwlinaTree · 28/02/2016 14:13

I'm not sure about another. I'll have 2, and I'll be basically 39 when this one is born. I think I'll be tempted by a third, but dh very adamant we are stopping at 2. I know he'd love a girl though so if this one is a boy then maybe a third? But I really think the most likely scenario is no more after this (sob, will treasure every newborn cuddle)
