Well here's our sproglette :) its amazing seeing/hearing them in the scans isn't it? Date changed by one day so I'm now edd 14 August. Which makes me 12+2 :) I'm very happy, and am actually starting to believe there may be a baby at the end of this! Smile

mslg round ligament pain is horrible, poor you having so much of it. I only get it if I move a certain way or sneeze without holding it.

Suzie great picture, glad the scan went well.

Fizzy try not to panic about the lack of symptoms, when is your scan date?

MrsZumba have you spoken to the EPU? A little pink is often absolutely fine, really hope everything is ok

I'm feeling pretty rotten, not been sick but so nauseous. I think I'm starting to struggle sleeping on my back, definitely wake up sicker if I do, is anyone else having to change how they sleep?

14+4

Biscuitswithtea · 02/02/2016 15:58

Mslg, possibly?? I'm sure she said 13+3 but I also thought she said the 8th August. It's one or the other!! The hospital printer wasn't working so my notes haven't been printed out yet...

Jw35 · 02/02/2016 16:10

Congrats Suzie and others scans! I felt more movement last night!

My sister is being transferred to Newcastle today. They're worried about internal bleeding and she's had CT scans on her head and neck to check for bleeding. Her mouth is covered in sores and her gums are bleeding a lot. She's going to doing intensive treatments for 2 weeks which will make her very sick. She's already on a morphine drip and still in a lot of pain Sad if the treatment works she could get better over time. If not then she needs the bone marrow transplant. Fingers crossed. Sorry to bring the thread down x

bearhuggy · 02/02/2016 16:10

mslg I have been getting those pains when I sneeze or turn too quickly in bed, really annoying! Have found yoga can also trigger so learning to be a bit more mindful and use my core.

Great pic of your little one Suzie! Am loving seeing everyone's scans, the 20 week seems sooo far off now. Glad I have my doppler as it's nice to have a little listen every now and again.

fizzy I also had very few symptoms a few weeks ago and was getting worried before the scan, it's perfectly normal at this stage. Have read they can come and go, especially into the 2nd trimester. Everyone is different though.

Superrrrr tired today, hardly able to keep my eyes open at my desk...keeping hydrated and trying not to fall asleep against the wall Confused ZZzzzz

bearhuggy · 02/02/2016 16:15

Thinking of you and your family jw at least she is in the best hands and the best place to be treated. I wish that the next few weeks go well and she starts to get better x

Clarab0w · 02/02/2016 16:44

jw i'm so sorry your sister's so poorly - did you find out if another family member was compatible for the marrow transplant? after following your story i registered online as an organ donor but wish there was more i could do. sending lots of good wishes your way.

mslg, lily and bearhuggy, my acupuncturist told me not to use my core when moving around or getting up from lying down, in case that helps at all - she said to roll onto your side instead and then push yourself up as your core will only tug the ligaments. i've been trying to remember while getting in and out of bed to pee 3 times a night! hope it's not going to hang around too long.

mrszumba i've had spotting on and off throughout because of a small haematoma (they finally found it on an u/s after going unexplained for weeks) - def speak to the EPU and ask them to check for you - the stress is no good for you x

Fizzyboo · 02/02/2016 16:52

Lily I've got my scan a week today, I'll be 13+6 then, honestly it can't happen soon enough! I think the terror has been compounded by the fact I 'bled' from 5weeks to 8+5. I had an early scan at 7 weeks which showed all was good, but it really scared me!

Huggy yes I really hope I'm just a lucky sod that doesn't get tons on symptoms and that's the only reason. I do need to pee a lot at the mo, and when I really stretch my tummy feels a bit like I've recently been doing sit ups? Maybe? That's it though... Oh and I keep crying, but that might just be meWink

Jw goodness, how scary! My husbands uncle had a similar thing but a donor was found. I truly hope a similar event is soon on the horizon and your sister becomes stronger than ever xx

MintyBojingles · 02/02/2016 20:41

I'm not managing to keep up very well, but still reading, and excited to see everyone's scans :) our scan is booked in for next Thursday, really excited!

squigglepants · 02/02/2016 21:06

Feeling spectacularly awful today Sad
Sickness seems to be getting worse, all three meals came back today. (Sorry TMI!)
Utterly exhausted, I am self employed and struggling to achieve anything. Poor kids have a useless grumpy mummy.
Sorry for the moan, not "gone public" yet and nowhere else to rant.
11+2 today

Christinedonna · 02/02/2016 21:18

I'm the same squiggle non stop throwing up. And my heads pounding so I'm laid in my room in the dark waiting to OH to cuddle

hgleslie89 · 02/02/2016 21:34

Had my first antenatal yoga class this evening and feeling brilliant! Pleasantly stretched out and very relaxed.

OwlinaTree · 02/02/2016 22:11

zumba and silver my scan is Friday too. I'm also feeling like my symptoms have eased off, but I think that it's normal for this to happen round 12 weeks. My boobs are massive still and heavy so taking that as a good sign. Have had to dig out the next size up mat bra, doesn't bode well!

M2B816 · 03/02/2016 07:14

Any recommendation for work maternity trousers please? I've looked around online but not sure what's comfortable. I'm quite petite (short) and prefer skinny cut. I've got 2 over the bump leggings which are really comfortable. Determined to get one trouser for work for the whole pregnancy so don't mind spending a bit more.

MrsSantaClause · 03/02/2016 08:34

It's scan day today-finally!!! I'm so excited GrinGrinGrin

ToElleWithIt · 03/02/2016 08:59

Lovely scan pics everyone

jw35 sorry to hear that your sister is so bad. Really hoping that the treatment works.

MrsSantaClause Enjoy the scan

M2B816 I got a pair of cigarette pants from Isabella Oliver last time which were over-the-bump and did me right 'til the end. Not cheap, but quality was good. I didn't really like under bump stuff as I got towards the end.

silverstar77 · 03/02/2016 13:21

Only two more sleeps owl!

My boobs were sore and still are a bit but don't seem to have grown out of my bras...so different for everyone this pregnancy thing!!

Excited /nervous for Fri! What time is your scan?

MrsSantaClause · 03/02/2016 13:40

Here it is!! Baby was asleep for most of the appt, just moved a tiny bit from all the prodding and poking. Heart was beating away though Smile

Christinedonna · 03/02/2016 16:08

Congratulations mrs how far gone are you?

M2B816 · 03/02/2016 16:08

Nice one Mrssanta! Glad it all went well.

Thanks toelle, I'll definitely look it up. I have 2 maternity leggings and they are over the bump. Very comfy! I'm still wearing my old stuff but they are definitely getting tighter and I think under the bump trousers are not comfy at all. Ah well, the joy of putting on weight!

MrsSantaClause · 03/02/2016 16:51

Dates didn't change Christine, edd 8/8/16. So 13.2 Smile

Sophia1984 · 03/02/2016 19:00

Feeling very blessed today to have got a 1:50,000 risk for Down's Syndrome. Telling my parents about baby on meal out on Saturday Grin

[bit confused as letter didn't mention Trisomy 13 or 18 though]

MrsZumbaDancer · 03/02/2016 20:00

sophia Some nhs authority's still only do downs, despite the new leaflet saying it tests for all three trisomys. The test for all 3 isn't coming to my area until April, I queried with my midwife.

Christinedonna · 03/02/2016 20:28

Oh I forgot to mention after all the confusion of the blood test for downs it turns out that blood was nothing to do with it and after the scan showed everything to be normal I chose to do another blood test anyway (this time for downs) and should have the results in a few weeks. I was saying to the OH earlier..in 4 weeks is my 16 week mw appointment but il actually be 17 weeks. 3 weeks after that we're half way and will know what we're having!! Going very quickly now. I just want a huge bump and then it can take its time. Not too long though! Is anyone not finding out the sex?

Mslg · 03/02/2016 20:33

I'm not finding out. I don't want my house to become a sea of blue or pink and quite like the idea of a surprise at the very end. We have a boys and girls name picked already. Keeping those to ourselves as some people are awful for tearing name choices apart and judging!
