Great scan christine it's amazing how flippy they are isn't it! Also on your question about back pain...I suffer with sciatica following a fractured coccyx when I was younger so know what you mean about the clicking to release some pain, so satisfying! I have a firm foam roller that I try to use morning and night to loosen the area of pain and also keep things from stiffening up. perhaps try one of those? coco amazing news on your house! Fingers crossed all goes smoothly for you. Ours is officially on the market now too and we have found another place, so just waiting for some offers on ours before we can push forwards. All a bit close timings wise but better to do now than when we have a babe running around the place!!

I have been feeling a bit under the weather this weekend, feel like I am coming down with something cold like which is annoying, my tummy also has been a little unsettled so am back on rather plain and boring foods for the next couple of days

Oh and 14+3 here today! My app is telling me baby can bend its knees and elbows now....perhaps I will start to feel some kicks soon!

I have a little acrobat inside me!!! scan went well, little one couldn't stop somersaulting during the scan trying to show his or her skills! DP had the first glimpse of the scan before me to ensure there were only 1 in there, lol! 8 tubes of blood samples were taken. Results in 1-2 weeks time. So much information in 2 and a half hours I'm still digesting from what happened this morning. I'm at work now and not really telling everyone yet. We will spread the news slowly when we get the blood test results just to be sure everything is ok. Here is my little acrobat, the feeling was just amazing! Back to 11+4 instead of 12 weeks.

I hope everyone here gets their scan real soon if they haven't already!

Also had my scan today! Baby was wriggling about so much, so cute! We also had the combined test done and were surprised that they were giving us the results straight away as I was expecting to have to wait. All went well, I'm glad to report!

Hi all! New to MN and pregnancy!
My due date is 10th Aug, incidentally my husbands birthday (found out I was preg on my birthday, due on his, weird huh?!)
Not getting my scan till 9th of Feb, when I'll be 14+6!! Thanks to the mini despot receptionist at my docs that wouldn't book me in to see the MW any earlier than last week!
I had a scan at the EPU @ 7 weeks due to bleeding, and there was a healthy prawn in there with a good heartbeat, just desperate to make sure everything's still ok, I can't bear the wait!

I meant to add that the sonography the asked if we wanted to know what he thought the sex might be. We said yes, I couldn't help myself! He thinks it's a boy! Honestly, between us Thought I wanted a girl but actually thinking of it as being a boy ...I'm not disappointed at all. Trying not to keep referring to "him" now in case it changes! The sonographer did say a guess is a guess. So so exciting!

Ooh Mama that's crazy he guessed so early! Congrats on all the scans ladies, I'm looking forward to the 20 weeks one now!

14+2 today and feeling run down again, I've been a bit hit and miss with my iron so think I'm anaemic again. I might go to the docs tomorrow about it, maybe they've got something stronger!

No news yet GlenCo thank for asking. She's being transferred to Newcastle hospital so they can try and suppress her immune system now asap. She's got the most severe form of the condition apparently so they should move quicker now.
Congrats on your house news! Personally I love living in a village! I'm just 50 mins from London though so get a bit of both!

Hi everyone, haven't posted in a while. Been lovely to read about all the scans, makes me look forward to mine which is next week. Tried to find baby using the Doppler yesterday but we werent sure if we found him/her. Makes me want the reassurance of the scan even more. Hope everyone is well

Yes mad that he was able to see some inkling of something that made him think it's a boy! Won't be making any purchases based on this at just 12 weeks though! We don't have out next scan until 21 weeks so might be tempted to book a private gender scan in between to have another peek at the baby!

Welcome fizzy! What a coincidence on your dates! We have a feeling that our bub will be born on either my husband's or my birthday as we are only 4 days apart...the bets are on!!

M2B lovely scan, all our babes seem to be little acrobats don't they, we should start our own cirque du soleil!

Great news on the scan Mama I am be interested to find out whether the prediction is correct... Suppose he has a 50/50 chance

jw thinking of you and your family, hope things start to move quickly for you all now. I too am under the weather, had a horrible breakout of coldsores this morning, just to add to the list. I have suffered with them for as long as i can remember but with my immune system suppressed during preg they seem to be non stop, very annoying.

Hi Rosa keep trying with the doppler and you will get there, its a fiddly art! My only tips are try aiming much lower than you initially think and apply quite a bit of pressure. You should first hear swooshing of the placenta then make small movements left and right and be patient. Use lots of gel too!

Phew! Had our scan this morning. All looks well and baby was awake and fidgety. Due date has been moved forward to 8th August.

I feel so relieved & relaxed for the first time in ages! Off to hunt down maternity trousers for work now aka holy grail

Will be 12 weeks tomorrow and scan on Friday, can't wait!!

And hopefully the sickness will start subsiding too!!

And we can tell people!

i have a (no doubt stupid) question - is anyone else feeling weirdly un-pregnant at the moment? it's my first, so i wasn't expecting to feel movements yet (though jealous of you jw and pickle! so cool...) but i'm also still in my normal clothes (tried to buy maternity jeans on the weekend and felt like a fraud).

i'm finally feeling a bit less grotty in the evenings, which i'm not complaining about, but it does make me feel a bit like i'm not really pregnant somehow - even despite the scan a week ago!

anyone else feel like this??

Absolutely dreading it.. Feel sure that it'll be a mmc. Sickness has long gone and I feel 'normal' . Had an ever so slight pink tinge when I wipe a few times over the last few weeks.

Hi all, just checking in. 11w today and scan on the 11th, so a while to wait yet. The sickness is still here, not as bad during the day but evenings are pretty bad. I have to eat constantly or the nausea takes over, it's getting quite boring now!

Clara I'm also 14+3 and feeling much the same. Into maternity bras now (which are amazing!) but all my other clothes still fit pretty well. I think it'll feel more real when we definitely start showing.

TBH I'm really scared too, that there will be nothing there. I have no reason to think that but it all seems surreal. Can't wait to actually see it and be able to know for sure. I think that lots of people feel worried before the scan..

Keep trusting, I think a pink tinge wouldn't be anything to worry about and most people's sickness does subside about 10 weeks I think? Have you been going to the loo more than normal or hungrier than normal?

What time is your scan? Mine is 10:20

ColaBottle exactly the same as you, 11+6 today and the sickness creeps in from 4pm each day with varying degrees but have to keep eating...but then sometimes feel sicker after eating too!

silver Not really noticed I'm going to the loo more or eating more, but didn't with my DS either. Sickness with him was worse but eased at 11 weeks.

Scan is at 10.30.. I'm 11+6 too

I too have been in a real panic I'm not pregnant anymore! I feel great, not sicky and my tender boobs have eased off... I'm about 2st overweight so if there was a baby belly, it's hidden by my regular belly! I keep doing pregnancy tests to try and reassure myself (I know I know) I just can't wait to get the scan done so I can accept I might actually be having a baby...

I'm getting so sp envious of all the lovely scan pictures. 13 days and counting until mine.

clara the doppler really is a fine art. I thought a full badder would help but in fact it really doesn't. My dd was off to the right when i found her but this one is bang in the middle just above my pelvic bone by about an inch. Even the slightest movement and you loose it though! You'll know it when you hear it, there'll be no doubt I promise!

I've been feeling better the past few days as well. My symptoms have been coming and going all the the time though, I've learned to enjoy the temporary little reprieves here and there before the nausea and constipation comes back with a vengeance.

My round ligament pain is getting worse though. Like an elastic band twanging when I laugh/get up too quickly/sneeze... Ouch 😳

Bump is still looking like bloat/pies as well!
