Me I've put on 15kg Blush I was 50kg at my booking appointment and now I'm 65kg, can't believe it but dp keeps saying all he sees is a big bump so maybe it's the baby and all the water I guess, well I hope haha

scared my wc jab did not hurt at all, I could barely feel it, just had a sore arm for 2 days and after that I completely forgot about it! Also had a shit night sleep, woke up at 2 absolutely bursting to go to the loo it was so painful getting out of bed then it took me ages to go back to sleep, feeling super hungover today Sad

neh I was in the same situation this time last year and it was a nightmare, also first time buyers, no chain but the vendor was a nightmare, never gets back to the estate agent or solicitors and changed our exchange date so many times it's unreal! Hopefully you get good news soon Flowers

maybebabybee · 15/01/2016 10:27

I had already put on 15kg near enough at around 22 weeks so fuck knows how much I am now...I've not weighed myself as I think there is no point in the third trimester really. I'm trying to eat relatively healthily but I'll worry about losing it afterwards.

It's mostly bump and boobs, I've only put on about an inch on my thighs and nothing at all elsewhere.

neh DP and I put an offer in in November - hoping to move in April! We're chain free but our vendors aren't so let's see. Don't fancy moving with a 4 week old baby but not much I can do really as we can't move before.

Me624 · 15/01/2016 11:34

neh you might need to go onto proper prescribed iron tablets rather than just supplements? If I recall correctly the over the counter supplements usually have about 20mg in them whereas the ones I am on are 200mg 3 X a day! My 28 week bloods had me at 93 (which is quite considerably up on my lowest ever record - I have a history of anaemia!)

Hope your house move starts progressing soon. The first house DH and I bought as first time buyers we bought off a couple where the lady was about 7 months pregnant with her second - I didn't really appreciate at the time why she was so stressy about it but now I totally do!

scaredmum2be · 15/01/2016 12:09

I've put on 10kg so far. Was 60 at 8 weeks. Now 70.
I wouldn't worry about weight gain if I was you- it doesn't seem worth worrying over.
Just been to see midwife. Everything normal. Saw a trainee who felt my bump and she was a bit rough.

My wc vaccine went fine :) didn't hurt at all. No bruise yet arm aches slightly but not as bad as flu one did. Hopefully that'll be all though.

Shattered now. Tried to nap between 9-10 gave up eventually as couldn't sleep even though I had five hours broken sleep last night. Oh well. Theirs nothing I can do about it just have to get on with my day. Waiting for partner to get home from work now- need to tidy flat today but so tired. Just sat knitting, TV and mumsnet at the moment. Gosh I can't wait until mat leave now. I can't imagine work next week if my sleep doesn't get better.

Rosie- sorry you had a bad night to :(. Did you suffer insomnia before pregnancy or is this preg related for you?

I think my main concern is if this carries on until birth how will I manage during labour if it's a long labour and/or complications. Will i physically have the strength to birth? That's my main fear about labour now.

scaredmum2be · 15/01/2016 12:12

Oh also forgot to mention was meant to be seeing counsellor today. But got a phone call and she had to go home sick so been pushed back until the 26th bit upset about that.

Rosieblossom123 · 15/01/2016 12:23

scared nope never had it before defo preg related which I'm hoping it gets better after birth but then I won't be anyways for the next how many years hahah I'm glad everything went ok with your appointment and jab hun Flowers

scaredmum2be · 15/01/2016 12:31

Me to never had before. Hope it gets better for both of us x

dobbythedoggy · 15/01/2016 14:00

scared and rosie I slept terriably when I was pregnant with dd. Never had problems falling asleep before, used to be out like a light whenever I wanted to be. But after the first trimester of being exhausted I just couldn't sleep, no reason for it, I was just awake after very short bursts of sleep. It was very frustrating. But it did settle down a few days after she was born, having 2 hours solid for the first time was amazing! Sleeping badly, but not as badly, this time around.

scared I had a cs with dd, but a ladywho was pregnant I worked with just after had bad insomnia. The two days before she went into labour she just slept! Her body must have known it needed to prepare.

marmiteandcheeseplease · 15/01/2016 14:14

scared I wouldn't worry about being too tired to birth - you kind of go into a weird zone when in labour where you can just keep going. I was in labour for two days with DD and since she was back to back, and I couldn't actually physically lie down, I essentially didn't sleep the whole time apart from a couple of snatched hours here and there. and I managed to push her out unassisted.

I've put on a stone and a half since pregnancy which I think is around the 10kg mark. Mostly my bump which is huge, don't think I have put weight on anywhere else. I've realised I am going to have to dial back a bit on my exercise/running around doing things as yesterday I went to doctors for my bloods (my midwife asked me to go before my 34 week appt so she has my results), and I was running late and had to walk there really fast, about a mile away, some of it uphill. then I came home and had a 40 minute cycle on my exercise bike in the afternoon... today my legs are really complaining! also sorry if TMI but me and DP tried to have sex last night for the first time in a couple of weeks and it was a disaster! Positioning is a bit of nightmare. Doggy is out as last time we tried it my back was hurting for days, so I tried to go on top and my leg cramped up and I got stuck Blush. Then when we found a position I could actually do (spoons), DD woke up crying so we had to rush everything and by the time it was over she'd gone back to sleep! total fail.

I'm hoping not to have to take iron tablets this time - I did have to when pregnant with DD and they made my digestive problems even worse. I have recently started eating fish so I am one of those annoying pescatarians now (but I at least will call myself that rather than veggie - one of my pet hates!) so I am hoping the addition of fish twice a week will help. I have to say I am less tired this pregnancy than I was with DD despite being larger and getting less sleep, so hopefully when my bloods come back it will all be fine.

Rosieblossom123 · 15/01/2016 14:29

scared fingers crossed Flowers

dobby I hope it settles down soon, I really do!!

marmite Dp and I fail at it every time, it's frustrating, he can't go on top because my back hurts and it feels like he's going to squash my belly and doggy kills my back and me on top was a disaster last time when squishy decided to kick me in the ribs and I was in so much pain we had to stop. Blush

maybebabybee · 15/01/2016 14:30

sex? what's that? Last time we did it was December 27 Grin

TriJo · 15/01/2016 14:45

Spoons or doggy for the win at this stage tbh ;)

maybebabybee · 15/01/2016 14:46

I can't make spoons work logistically Blush. There is too much height difference!

Rosieblossom123 · 15/01/2016 14:48

hahaha I don't remember the last time we did honestly Grin

Paperblank · 15/01/2016 15:16

Sex? Yeah we're not getting any of that at the moment. We'll get back in the saddle eventually but at the minute I feel very un-sexy. Thankfully DH is not worried about the lack of action Smile

Ohwoolballs · 15/01/2016 15:40

Hello lovelies.
Hope everyone is feeling alright - with CSC and jabs galore I'm suprised any of you can even think of sex! I think we did the deed around New Years but I'm not sure. I've been very generous with the suprise Bjs so I think DP is surviving Grin

Had a massive stitch in my side every time I've gone to wee the last couple of days so just off to the docs this aft to make sure it's not a kidney infection (I seem to get them as soon as a frost appears) just feeling naff at the moment.

On another note - where abouts in the world is everyone? I'm West Yorkshire in a village north of Leeds. Smile

maybebabybee · 15/01/2016 15:50

Am in London, wool :)

QforCucumber · 15/01/2016 15:57

Middlesbrough, so not too far from you really wool my brother lIves in Burley and works in leeds city centre.

Dp and I seem to go through 6 or 7 days of nothing, then 3 or 4 days of everyday sex, then back to nothing again haha. Think we are just tiring each other out, seems to be spoons every times though (and he's a ft taller than me but never had issues with the height thing Wink )

maybebabybee · 15/01/2016 16:04

Q you are clearly more athletic than DP and I Grin! Though he is 6ft 3 and I am barely 5ft1.

I'm really boring tbh, my favourite position by far is missionary but that's obviously totally out at the moment.

TriJo · 15/01/2016 16:14

wool I'm in London.

7 inch height difference here (5'5" and 6') and we never had any issues with spoons :) Too big now for me on top though which was always my favourite...

Rosieblossom123 · 15/01/2016 16:38

wool I'm in Hampshire (south east)

Spoons is defo a mission lol I'm 5ft2 and Dp is 6ft2 so a little tricky!

Trinpy · 15/01/2016 17:13

Wow I'm very impressed at those of you trying out all these different positions. DH and I gave up on sex some time in November Blush because every position was uncomfortable and I get stitch after 5 mins. Tbh I don't feel at my sexiest right now either - boobs and bump currently in some sort of race to take over my body. I'm sure things will improve when I finish work in a couple of weeks though Smile.

Hope you all have a nice weekend (and lots of sleep)!

MyNameIsSuz · 15/01/2016 17:25

Me too trinpy, could not feel less like it. All swollen, crampy and uncomfortable. And so tired!

I'm SE too, Oxfordshire. We had a spreadsheet going for a while with all our details on, is that still about somewhere?

Paperblank · 15/01/2016 17:30

I'm in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

We did have a spreadsheet... about 3 threads back? I can't even remember who started it!!

Sex has not been on the cards for me and DH for months! He isn't particularly interested as the bump and kicking freak him out. I've been having lots of issues with piles so I don't really want him down there anyway! I'm not too concerned, we took over a year to conceive this little one and I think I prefer none to the pressure of always trying to time it right! We'll get back on track eventually!

Despite not getting any and theeefore having no real reason to, I decided to have a bit of a tidy up in the shower last night ... quite a feat considering I can't see past my bump and a mirror is no good in the shower! I used an electric razor as I didn't want to massacre myself, managed to do a surprisingly neat job considering I was going at it blind!!

wool I'm in the south east.

On the issue of weight gain, I'm not too concerned about mine - though I don't want to put on absolutely loads because I'm crap at diets - but I was just curious really to see where I'd got to!
