Hi ladies,

I've been TTC2 for 1.5 years and I've just found out I'm pregnant Smile 1 day before Xmas eve! Best present ever! Anyone else celebrating a bfp this Christmas? I've already had to dodge chocolate mousse, champagne and Stilton...all worth it though!! Grin

Hi ladies. I'm afraid I will have to leave the group. I had an mc a few days ago at 6 weeks. I am devastated, but looking forward to trying again.
Wishing you all a healthy pregnancy Flowers

Hi all, just stopping by to say hello. I'm still around, though I'm mostly loitering on the pg after MC thread. The crazy the anxiety is pretty overwhelming this time round and I don't want to upset people over here with my obsessions. I'll probably swing by if/when I make it to 12 weeks. Assuming I get that far I'd also be up for a FB group Smile

shopaholic I'm so sorry. I went through the same not long ago. I hope you have good support IRL and wish you the best with your onward journey Flowers

for those of you experiencing worrying symptoms.

ickle hope you are ok.

peardrop2 · 08/01/2016 14:02

Shopaholic - I'm so sorry for your loss Sad I keep reading that so many ladies fall pregnant straight after their MC but I know you must be feeling so low about it right now Thanks Look after yourself and I hope the silver lining will be that you will have a few extra weeks to move house before baby arrives Smile xx

Sausage2229 · 08/01/2016 19:43

Evening all, sorry to hear the sad news.
When is everyone telling people they are pregnant? X

peardrop2 · 08/01/2016 20:59

Sausage - I've told my mum (only because I've been ttc2 for so long and I know she's been worried for me) and I've hinted to one of my friends that I might be pregnant because I'm her bridesmaid this year and she wanted to buy a tea dress for when I'll be 6 months pregnant Shock Nobody else will find out until I'm past 12 weeks though!

My stats is a bit wrong but I won't bother asking you to update to 3rd September as my scan will probably change it anyway Grin

Sorry to hear such sad news shopaholic Thanks for you. I hope you have lots of support irl. Sending you hugs too.

Butterflies100 · 08/01/2016 23:27

I've booked in for a private scan in 2 weeks time as I'm too curious to know my due date! So if all looks OK on that I'll tell my dad and brother (my mom passed away a few years ago) and my dh parents. I've told my closest friend at work already (just incase the worst happens whilst I'm there). Dreading telling my boss (I work in a male dominated role and I can see this causing a few problems) and also my friend who I run a business with. Night everyone (I've just woken up after 2 hours sleep on the settee so off to bed for me!) xx

genome · 08/01/2016 23:27

Sending love shopaholic Flowers

MrsS182 · 09/01/2016 00:57

Can I join please. Got my bfp tonight although I have known all week I'm pregnant (I can't open the fridge without being sick). Edd 2 September 2016.

Still deciding whether to tell close family ideally I want to wait till after scan but DH wants to let everyone know. Dreading telling work though also work in a male dominated role butterflies** Smile

Pawpatroller · 09/01/2016 07:33

shopaholic I'm so sorry to hear that. Be kind to yourself, I hope you are being looked after.
icklekid hope you're doing ok too.

Pawpatroller · 09/01/2016 07:36

Oh, Sausage I've told my sister, she knew we were ttc (it was her baby that made me broody in the first place!) and she needs to save all of the baby things we'd sent her way so she can send them back! And I'll be telling a really good friend as we're going on holiday with them soon. Apart from that though I don't think we'll tell anyone til after the 12wk scan. Especially not my MIL, she is lovely but dreadful at keeping secrets!
And congratulations MrsS

Fifi10 · 09/01/2016 07:45

Really sorry shopaholic Flowers

Butterflies how many weeks will you be when you have your private scan? I have no date for 12 week nhs one yet and I'm stressing that it will get missed/delayed. I'm not able to see the mw for my booking appt until I'm 9w5 as they were fully booked so worried that I'll won't get referred for my scan until after that which is quite a tight time frame.

In terms of telling people, I told my mum as soon as I found out and have left her to tell immediate family when she wants to. I'm still too shy to say anything. My dp is worse than me and hasn't even told his mum yet- says it's my job and I should go round and see her (preferably on my own as he doesn't want his mum to work out he's a 28yr old who has had sex!?)

Butterflies100 · 09/01/2016 08:17

Fifi- I think I'll be somewhere around 8 weeks but due to me not having af appear between taking my implant out and getting a positive test 5 weeks later I can't be 100% sure. You can scan from 6 weeks so in 2 weeks time I should be past that point. My surgery is being rubbish too, no return call from maternity nurse and receptionists saying that I'll see her between 8-12 weeks despite me protesting that I don't know when that will be!! Hence why I'm going private for an early scan, I'm not in the mood to fight it out with the NHS until I can say for certain how far along I am!
And tell your partner to get off his arse and go tell his mom himself- my dh can't wait to tell his mom, I'm having to hold him back til after the scan!!

Does anyone else feel like their boobs are on fire? That plus the tiredness has ramped up massively this week but I guess going back-to work hasn't helped, which is where I'm going now :-( Have a good day all x
