April 2016 babies - 20-week scans, growing bumps and little kicks!

Hi all,

I've started a new thread to take us up to the third trimester.

Hope you are all feeling well. I feel like my bump is a little small and I'm not feeling lots of movement (but this may be due to an anterior placenta). Got my 20-week scan tomorrow so not long to wait to see if everything's ok - it's actually nearly 22 weeks though as baby really wasn't playing ball when we went last week and was hiding with its back to the scanner.

Getting excited that I'm halfway there though...

This thread is quiet! How do you get on to the Facebook group?? I'm due April 12th!

Hi all, been lurking the thread since it started - so quiet now though... Could someone add me to the Facebook group too? I'm scheduled for a elcs on 19th April.

We are finally in April! How exciting. I'm not due until the end of the month (28th) but had a long midwife appointment about labour choices last week and a whooping cough vaccine this week (goodness my arm aches from it - not looking forward to baby having injections now!). And I'll finally be full term in Thursday (a countdown that has seemed to take forever to arrive!). Hope everyone else is well and look forward to announcements soon.

My bladder is being used as a cross between a pillow and a punching bag. It's delightful.

Pre op day today so even though I really want a piss I need to hold it until we get to the hospital so I can produce the inevitable wee sample.

If I piss in the car Baby, it's all your fault.

oops The punch bag bladder isn't great.

So baby was born on March 28th and is now two weeks old. New had feeding issues so my stay was extended to 5 days. She isn't back up to her birth weight and the doctor doesn't expect that to happen before Wednesday.

We have a nasty diaper rash though. It's blistered her bum. I've been using zinc oxide cream which has helped calm it down but it's still bright angry red with blisters. It's either an allergy or teething. If it's teething in not touching DH until he is snipped. The old wives tale here is that when a baby teeths early it means they are getting out of the way for another baby. No more babies!
