Does anyone else think times going superfast, I need it to slow down a bit so I can get organised!! I'm out to finish the Xmas shopping today cos work is horrendously busy over the next few weeks, hoping to be all wrapped and bagged up by Friday but by the time the kids go to bed I'm so tired I just end up on the sofa falling to sleep!!

After all the cheese conversations I was dreaming last night that I went to a party with a massive cheese board and I couldn't eat any of it which was very upsetting!!

Have any of you had pgp in your pregnancies? Ive suddenly developed lower back pain that i thought was sciatica and I'm off work because i can barely move. Now starting to wonder whether it's pgp... The symptoms of both seems so similar. Any experiences?

torfinn I had real trouble walking between 20 and 24 weeks last time, it went by itself fairly suddenly and was apparently DS's head trapping a nerve. It started as back pain and I could only walk for about 30 secs at a time, super slowly. Fingers crossed yours is something similar and will evaporate too!!

Gorgeous photos biffle and earlgrey!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You must be so happy!! What actually happens at the 12 week scan? How long are you there for? Do you learn any other info? I'm new to this!

My scan is on Wednesday. I'm 12 weeks today :) I have been waiting for this milestone!! Once the scan is done I might actually allow myself to get excited! I cannot wait to tell my family! eeeekkk!!!

I am overweight but I can't feel a bump at all.... normal??!

yaaay congratulations biffle and earlgrey .. Lovely scan pictures ... Smile

Emma ... Mine took about 30 minutes, mainly because the baby was camera shy and wouldn't lie on its side for a proper NT measurement so the sonographer had to make me jump up and down and jiggle around to get the baby moving. The main things they do is measure the baby to check your due date (its not always the most accurate by LMP. I got moved 3 days) .. They check the fluid at the back of baby's neck to see if there is a higher risk of downs, edwards and pataus and do a quick limb and head count to make sure everything is as it should be.

Its definitely a big milestone. I was so relieved after mine. Good luck with yours next week Smile

Thanks Grubby, I actually feel a little better already - it may have been a long day lifting my very chunky 19mo son all day yesterday. No lifting for me this weekend and I've ordered to food shop online Smile

Spent part of today looking at reviews for double buggies! Quite fun Grin except for the pricetags

My scan was all fine too, been moved forward 2 days to 11+5 and due on 19th June :-)

I've just been out and bought a little comfort blanket as we plan to put it in a gift box with the scan pic to give my girls to open after the scan on Monday as long as all goes well obviously.

Congrats biffle, earlgrey and babysocks. So good to see such positive scans and another leggy baby!

I told my boss and some work colleagues today and am very surprised by how relieved I am!

I'm really annoyed, obviously some work colleagues know (but I have only told 10 people who needed to know due to working in a high risk environment) like my line manager and her line manager but someone congratulated me today who should definately not have known - breach of confidentiality much?! I think one of the line managers has been gossiping and I will be saying something! I lone work so don't work with them on a daily basis, only see them maybe monthly so it's definately coming up next time. Grrrrrr
