hello viroids sorry I fell off-thread a bit! Have been to GP today, waiting for MW appointment. Also went to dentists' where was overjoyed to find out about free dental treatment for pregnant ladies! whoohoo.

Saw couple of friends today, they're convinced it's some weird panicking thing he's doing combined with some sort of mental health dip. No need to tell me, this is so far removed from him and his morals that it must be. But also no convincing him either. Everyone's just advising giving him space and hopefully he'll work it out. In the meantime I certainly don't feel happy leaving DS alone with him so he'll have to deal with me as well for the time being. One day at a time I guess. I'm so tired.

Feathered my DH was a bit freaked out by pg sex. I was too until I got the 3 month horn all clear from my doc at 12 weeks. Was a bit of a disaster the first time we tried so the second time I took advantage of him when he was drunk . Had a weird moment the next morning when I wondered if purple nipple was a pg symptom and then realised it was a love bite! . Haven't been shagging nearly enough for my liking though, will have to get him drunk again. Bloody hell Pretz can born again virgins do babies? Your fanjo will be shocked!
Going to IKEA tonight. Finally buying a tv stand after searching for a narrow one, deciding to get one custom made and then backtracking after seeing the quote! Back to good old IKEA it is. Will have a look at nursery furniture too although I'm too scared to buy anything baby related until after the 20 week scan.

Corgi, it's totally up to you who you tell when. I think a lot of people keep schtum until 12 weeks/first scan incase of mc, but if they are people that you would tell about a mc anyway then it doesn't really matter when you tell them. Although i can see that it might be easier to tell friends for support after the event instead of telling them good news then having to break the bad news iyswim? I told a close colleague v early on (we were applying for a shared role the week of my bfp!) and told our parents at around 7 weeks ish then a couple of close friends at about 10 weeks. Just do what works for you! In the mean time, just pretend to drink, no one will notice! You can sneakily swap glasses with DH, he will get v merry! :-)
