After welcoming the Batlet, we're ready for Halloween, our bellies full of candy and almost nothing green! With accidentally bald fanjos, never-ending nausea, and delinquent babies, it's JS Grads 40!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

i've got the arse rain today...yay!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/10/2015 09:55

Lovely jelly you lucky thing. I've had a dodgy tummy all week, literally a PITA. S'all glamour.

5hell I would deffo get on to someone about that.

jellypi3 · 23/10/2015 10:46

Well the good news is i don't gave gestational diabetes! Hooray!

The bad news is i need more blood tests because my bloods from this week came back with elevated liver thingy-ma-bobs...Boo!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/10/2015 10:50

Yay!

Boo.

honeysucklejasmine · 23/10/2015 12:21

Pud had mine this week. New things was positions for pushing. So kneeling, squatting, down on one knee. I also got a sticker to put on my notes.

MollyBloomYes · 23/10/2015 14:05

Gx country! jelly great about gd, not so much liver thing a mee bobbies! pud as far as I can recall it's recapping on the breaths and as honey said, different positions. I got my sticker earlier on in he blocks so might be worth asking you teacher if she does them? It's basically so that midwives don't think you're hyperventilating when doing the escalator breath or think you're not as far on as you are because you're so calm..

Carrot my birthday's the 29th which is also my due date. Has been LOTS of fun convincing various health professionals that I'm not an idiot and really have written down my due date correctly Hmm

pretzelpieces · 23/10/2015 14:19

Sorry to those with the arse rain. I've got the opposite (though it rains red when it comes out Halloween Angry), will be mainlining fruit today.

Good news about the gd jelly! Hope the liver thing is nothing to worry about.

5hell how crap of them. Angry on your behalf.

If, like me, you're struggling through the last couple of hours at work today, have a giggle at the Jamie Oliver AINU thread, I'm enjoying the selection of descriptive terms for the said Mr Oliver...Dickwad being my current fave Grin

SecondCupOfTea · 23/10/2015 14:58

As an example of the high quality of arguments made in the AIBU thread, here's one:

"Can't stand that smarmy bastard. Wish he would fuck off to the far side of fuck and take his slobbery, smug load of wankery with him."

GrinGrinGrinGrin

jellypi3 · 23/10/2015 15:16

that's a classic one tea :D

honeysucklejasmine · 23/10/2015 19:05

Evening all!

So, how many weeks should be be able to establish a pattern of movements? I have only felt them for a few days so want to know at which point to start stressing about it!

jellypi3 · 23/10/2015 19:31

I think they say after 24 weeks you should start taking more notice of baby's pattern but they are still small enough for it to change quite drastically. When I called up about the lack of movement this week they didn't say it was too early (at 26 weeks).

honeysucklejasmine · 23/10/2015 20:01

Thanks lovely. I figure at the moment it has plenty of room so I won't always feel movements yet. Will let it grow a but more first. Wink

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/10/2015 20:32

Anyone got any home remedies for heartburn?

Maybe a Baileys will do the job Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 23/10/2015 21:16

Yogurt is quite good. Or Rennie. ;-) Anything that will neutralise the acid or coat your throat.

CarrotPuff · 23/10/2015 21:25

Bicarbonate soda.

I'm so tired. It's been a long week. Thank god it's weekend.

I have to stop eating chocolate. I'll be a size of a small house soon!

oneyorkshirepud · 23/10/2015 21:28

Glass of milk Thurs? Or you can take some anti heartburn meds, I think some Grads have drunk gaviscon by the bottle?

Honey, I felt movements from 15 weeks and consistently from 17 weeks but I wouldn't say I felt any pattern until 26 weeks at least. Also the patterns do change as baby grows. I did find that the old drinking cold juice/eating something sugary and lying on my left always worked when I needed reassurance. Now that Baby takes up so much room it would be much more obvious I think if movements were reduced.

NFMBB: (belly button)... It is disappearing... It looks weird!

honeysucklejasmine · 23/10/2015 22:07

I am really quite excited to see what happens to my abdomen. I have a 20cm long thick scar down my belly which has caused my belly button to deform (by pulling on it) so intrigued to see what will happen.

oneyorkshirepud · 24/10/2015 05:54

Anyone heard from Gliding or RDM? They are both 38 weeks plus now, Eep! Hope you are okay if you are lurking ladies Smile

Moan away La, that's what we're here for!

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/10/2015 08:08

La you loon have you even posted?!

Needed home remedies as haven't had chance to get to the shops for gaviscon yet - but found a few ancient tabs in the medicine cabinet.

Hope you have a restful weekend carrot

Im off to get soaked to the bone at parkrun

honeysucklejasmine · 24/10/2015 08:20

La. Firstly, WTF you chatting about love? And secondly, even if it were true, that's the whole point of MN is it not? To have a whinge, share a problem and hopefully laugh a little. Now stop apologising and whinge away, even if, as I suspect, you planned to post that on Just Mumming.

We luffs you!

jellypi3 · 24/10/2015 08:53

Yeah I think that was meant for just mumming. But don't fret la, we love moaning! (Not that you ever moan).

RDM posted on fb the other day that she's finished work, not sure about gliding.

I keep having dreams about giving birth. Ive got so long to but it's always on my mind when sleeping apparently lol!

LaLaLaaaa · 24/10/2015 09:05

Yeah it was wrong thread! I then fell asleep so forgot to say so!!!!!
