In the bath and my bump is sticking out way more on the left side and is rock hard there, so he has definitely turned himself into a really awkward painful position, hope he moves back soon!

joleyn · 09/10/2015 19:15

I seem to have 1 twin right down in my pelvis making it really uncomfortable in the car, I feel like I am squishing his head! ! The other is much higher up and kicks like mad. Pretty sure am also getting spd in my left hip :-(
Does anyone know how I join the Facebook group?

jellypi3 · 09/10/2015 19:30

I think you can pm islamann but I'm sure.

I also think I'm getting spd. I mentioned to my midwife and she's going to refer me to a physio.

I have no idea where baby is, all I know is she likes to kick me!

joleyn · 09/10/2015 20:23

I am lucky I work for the nhs so can self refer to physio and have an appt in 2 weeks. I just would like to prevent it getting worse!

MaryEllen1 · 09/10/2015 20:32

Am just 20 weeks and started throwing up didn't suffer with MS in first trimester, any one else had this?

Rufus200 · 09/10/2015 20:43

Baby moved when I was in the bath and kicks have returned to normal, hope he doesn't do that again, especially when he is bigger!

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 09/10/2015 20:55

Baby has started sticking its bum out! It hurts and makes my bump wonky Grin

RattyCatty · 09/10/2015 21:23

Oooh till how do you know it's the baby's bottom?

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 09/10/2015 21:46

My other 3 did it too. Baby #2 stuck her bum on the probe when I was having an emergency scan at 28 weeks Grin I'd been wondering what it was! Prior to that I was Confused but then I was enlightened. Twas hilarious. I suppose it could also be a head?!

goneswimming · 09/10/2015 22:20

Before we got pregnant, I thought that feeling baby movements inside me would be something like Alien- and I love discovering that it's actually the most comforting and reassuring sensation!

Troika · 10/10/2015 07:28

I've had a few painful ones Rufus but mostly not. I was being kicked in the fanny all morning yesterday which was pretty uncomfortable. Have also had a few moments where she's turned and one side has stuck out more. I'm bemoaning my short torso because she's already up under my ribs and there's still 18 weeks to go!

monkerina · 10/10/2015 09:57

Goneswimming, baby has been referred to as 'chestburster' to date; still think movements are a bit Alienesque but lovely nevertheless Smile I woke up the other night to a very uncomfortable sensation and a bottom sticking out of my tummy the other night Rufus, then he moved and all was well- weird though!

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 10/10/2015 10:30

DDs (7 & 4) felt movement for the first time this morning Grin There was a bum sticking out my left side again, seems to be the preferred morning position for baby. The look on their faces was magic. DNeph was also in bed with us and I asked if he wanted to feel (he's 5) and he said "Erm... No thank you." Grin

NorthernChinchilla · 10/10/2015 11:16

It does make me smile that the bump changes shape and can be totally lop-sided depending on where the baby is...then slowly reverts to circle-ish before your eyes!

Had flu jab yesterday as trying to sort ANYTHING through the doc's is hopeless atm. They're moving premises and this seems to mean that their booking system doesn't function either...Hmm

CalypsoLilt · 10/10/2015 11:24

22 weeks tomorrow!! Yikes!!

Great bump calypso!

Bubs does lots of wriggling around but definitely prefers my right side as most of his kicks and punches are on the right. I think his head is down though and maybe he just turns rather than flips. I've found that changing position or giving a little jiggle in the uncomfortable area tends to get him back to a better place. A bit alien but I've got used to it!

joleyn you've got double trouble! :) just one is keeping me very occupied (and distracted, it's like having a constant conversation going on while you're trying to work!)

Just picked up some freegle reusable nappies! I'll need to supplement some of it, but that's essentially 200 squid off my budget! :D we also found a cot and bedding for £10 in supermarket listing, so are picking that up today. And our little garden room/shed is being insulated today so we can use the box room as nursery. Our living room is a walk through and has no privacy so would be no use. Hopefully when it's all painted and ready we'll be able to convince our suspicious relatives to stay in there! No one sounds convinced just yet!

23 weeks today! One week until baby Haquoi is viable! :)

Calypso Awww lovely bump! I'm 22 weeks on Monday. It seems to have flown by, since the draggy days of BFP to 12 week scan.

Northern Bump movement is amazing. Its been 5 years since I was last pregnant (barring the MC) and I had completely forgotten all about it.

I may have another UTI. Ended up crying on the toilet because it burnt when I peed Sad Gahhhh. I'm consoling myself with half a box of After Eights that I stole from the Christmas cupboard.

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 10/10/2015 12:15

hacquoi Yay to viable! I've also been doing the countdown. DD1s issues started at 26 weeks and the same weekend I was in hospital gushing bleeding, my friend was downstairs giving birth to her 25 weeker Sad Although he is now a strapping 7 year old with minimal issues Grin

A friend of mine from Church is bringing me some stuff next week, can't wait!

twinkleontheweb and terrynappies have some incredible offers on right now! I'm totally in love with milovia prints but won't be buying any of them until baby is chunkier and out of newborn sized nappies. I've made a wishlist on amazon of nappies and I've emailed it to everyone who's asked what I'd them to buy for baby. DSis has admitted to having a big box of baby clothes already Grin

IKEA is my next stop - November pay day. Their cots are so hard wearing. DD1s Gulliver cot cost us £50 - it went through her, my friends boy, my nephew and when he outgrew it, DSis first used it as a sofa for his room then flipped it upside down and now he uses it as a desk! 7 years on and going strong.

Troika · 10/10/2015 13:43

Thought I'd get in on the bump sharing. 22 weeks tomorrow

madsaz76 · 10/10/2015 16:03

22 +5 here. Can't decide if it is convinced it's bump rather than fat but getting there. I also find the kicks less alien than I imagined though I think bubs registers strong views on the position I lie in

SO need to get a bump pic on here, will faff around with phone and get it sorted. Bought first set of newborn babygros for DD to be (actually feel quite excited writing 'DD' Smile ) and some bits and bobs for DS - he's massive for his age, not fat, just the size of the average 5 year old. Got him some 5-6 tops today as he's flashing his wrists, and he's only 3.9!

Sounds like you got a great bargain there haquoi, nice one!

Phoenix80 · 10/10/2015 17:45

My 22 week bump from Monday Smile

Love seeing all the bump photos.

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 10/10/2015 18:40

Just remembered that BIL moved to the USA a few months back. This opens up a whole new market of cloth nappies! Grin Particularly Green Mountain Diapers Clotheez. $2 per prefold nappy.

jellypi3 · 10/10/2015 18:41

Lovely bumpie!

madsaz that's deffo a bump

madsaz76 · 10/10/2015 18:54

I know. Just feels a lot like when I was fatter! I'll get my head round it.

Bizarrely getting a bump is so far the most exciting thing for me - suspect all signs of this being real will be gratefully received.

Bumps do all look great ..
