Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

babysocks some areas give slimming world vouchers to overweight pregnant women so I'm sure you'll be fine. I'd just discretely tell your leader so they can advise you.
X

Welcome everyone! And London I am so sorry. Fingers crossed you'll be back next month or the month after.

I am constantly hungry! And eating loads (especially crisps too). I put on loads of weight with DC1 and really don't want to do the same this time. But I can't help it! And I've pretty much given up exercise even though I am usually quite into it. I'm just too exhausted!

This weekend I just don't feel well. I don't remember feeling this bad last time....but maybe I did. I hope the working week goes OK!

BabySocks · 11/10/2015 20:32

Thank you ladies, have an early scan booked due to previous problems so will wait until I get past that before telling my consultant but great to know it should be possible x

tigress23 · 11/10/2015 20:53

Jbiscuits, I also feel dizzy and faint if I don't eat. Let's try not to pass out!

tigress23 · 11/10/2015 21:01

Torfhinn, my nipples are also mega sore. It was cold while watching the half marathon today and my nipples felt as if someone was tearing them off. I nearly cried, it hurt so badly!

mrsmugoo · 11/10/2015 21:24

Babysocks my TDEE is 1600 so I try to stay around 1500 to give me a little grace for the occasional treat. I lost 28lb between January & August and have maintained since then. I only have two modes - strict and gluttonous!

BabySocks · 11/10/2015 21:39

mrsm I think I might be the same, eaten 2 biscuits, a chocolate pudding and a packet of crisps tonight. .. not a good start :)

mrsmugoo · 11/10/2015 21:52

Clockstooticky - yes please any of your wisdom would be greatfully received. Even if I could just use the MLU. I was all geared up for hypnobirthing last time and didn't even get the chance. I had such an easy pregnancy it was gutting that I didn't get the chance for a natural labour and annoying that it automatically classes me as high risk this time :(

Clockstooticky · 11/10/2015 21:55

So annoying! Hypnobirthing is awesome. I'll discuss it in a few months, before appointments and stuff! I'm aiming for mlu, but I suspect I'll be moaned at.

MadrigalElectromotive · 12/10/2015 06:40

tigress I am gluten free too, and have been eating Mrs Crimbles crackers. They are pretty good. I bought them in desperation the other day!

tigress23 · 12/10/2015 07:35

Thanks, madrigal! I'll check them out. The brand sounds familiar. I think they make chocolate macaroons too, which I've bought a few times.

SunnyScot89 · 12/10/2015 09:02

Hello, can I join you all? Got my BFP a few weeks ago. App says I'm due 5th June. This will be our first. Very excited but extremely nervous. I suffer from anxiety and depression and am on antidepressant meds so there's slightly higher risk of problems due to meds, and obviously very high risk of PND but I'm trying to stay positive.
Feeling exhausted and quite nauseous, and been having heartburn at night, but it's not too bad.
Only told my best friend so far, it's my mum's birthday next month so planning to tell her as a present and will tell DH's parents next time we see them. Everyone else will have to wait till Christmas.

Lovelybeano · 12/10/2015 09:41

Can I join you lovely ladies please? I haven't read through all the pages yet but I'm sure we'll get to know each other over the next few months, I've made some brilliant friends from pregnancy support forums in the past and still in touch with quite a few of them years later.
I did a test yesterday but it was so faint I didn't quite believe it, when I retested this morning though there is no doubt there is definitely a little line there shouting hello at me Smile this will be my 3rd, I'm not quite sure how we're all going to fit in my little home haha, i think I went into shock this morning, just shaking from head to toe for about an hour!! It's my day off today so I'm going to potter about doing the chores and obsess over little jobs that needs doing before the little one arrives!! Hope everyone is doing ok xx

MadrigalElectromotive · 12/10/2015 09:52

Welcome and congratulations to you both! Thanks

I have had to call in sick this morning. Fell horribly guilty but I can't eat or drink anything without gagging, and have been up retching since 5am. Sad

I just really hate letting people down, and I'm also worried that it will get worse before it gets better and I will need to take loads of time off. I didn't take any sick days at all last year so this is pretty new territory for me.

BiffleRoo · 12/10/2015 09:58

lovelybeano my June 2014 baby bus are still very much part of my life and hope this one will be too.

Congratulations to everyone that has joined and welcome

nehagarg · 12/10/2015 09:59

Welcome SunnyScot and LovelyBeano ... Congrats! [smile[

Madrigal .. I hope you feel better. That sounds horrendous. Have you told your boss? It might be easier to request time off if they know whats going on.

I am not really sick sick but the thought of foods that I usually love (like fruit) is making me nauseous. Really craving a cheese sandwich right now but I am vegan Sad .. Pregnancy is nuts!

MadrigalElectromotive · 12/10/2015 10:34

Thanks neha, she knows so I hope won't be too pissed off.

A friend of mine who is veggie kept craving meat when pg so her DH, who is a confirmed carnivore, said he would be veggie for the duration of the pregnancy so that she could eat what she fancied. If you are vegan for ethical reasons something similar might work for you if you can find a willing volunteer?

nehagarg · 12/10/2015 10:49

Good idea Madrigal .. How nice of the guy! Smile ... Unfortunately, I am vegan from a health perspective too (Forks over Knives is an interesting documentary to watch, if anyone is interested)

Will go home and make myself some nice and creamy almond milk cheese this evening and hope its not cow juice my body is after Grin .. But if that doesn't work, I'll definitely try your idea!

I'm driving myself round the twist obsessing about every twinge and cramp that I get in my stomach!!! I can't cope with this for another 8 months!!!! Help!! x

nehagarg · 12/10/2015 12:01

Welcome to the club Derbygirl ... I have an early scan tomorrow and am sat here shitting my pants (Last baby didnt make it past 6 weeks) ... If you get too worried or have constant pain, do you have access to an EPU? Mine are quite good at dealing with walk-ins.

Unfortunately the worry is part and parcel of the first trimester and I am guessing the other 2 trimesters too.

Derbygirl37 · 12/10/2015 12:08

I only got my BFP yesterday, by the date of my last AF I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow so it's really early days for me. Got my first appointment with my GP this afternoon xx

nehagarg · 12/10/2015 12:13

Aaah right ... It really is early days then. Congratulations though Flowers I had my first scan at 5+1 and all they could see was a gestational sac.

Unless you have constant pain and heavy bleeding, you are fine. A few twinges and pulls are normal as your body is changing and uterus stretching to accommodate life. But I completely understand the fear. I have it too. When I have a cramp, I worry why and then when it goes away, I worry why Smile

Derbygirl37 · 12/10/2015 12:15

Thanks nehagarg Smile I wish I could just relax and enjoy it!! xx

bikingintherain · 12/10/2015 12:31

Congratulations to all the newbies. It's exciting you can join us.

I called the GP last week and asked for the best way to go forward. The receptionist told me to come and get a book which I assumed woukd have a list of midwife practices to chose from. But no this was just a glossy magazine with the nothing useful at all. And the GP just said to choose my favourite midwife and book an appointment. But there are so many!!

In the end I gave up and emailed my friend who is a midwife in a different city and asked her how to navigate the Dutch maternity system. She gave me some helpful things to look out for but ultimately she said personal recommendation is best.

So now I have told the lady who is pregnant and lives in the flat above us and have asked for her help. My attempts at not telling people are failing. But the system seem so complicated! But on the upside they do a 7/8 week scan here so that's something to look forward to soon.

bikingintherain · 12/10/2015 12:34

And good luck for tomorrow nehagarg, I'll be thinking of you.
