Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

I have a suspicion that I'm going to get morning sickness at night.

Felt awful last night but had vile wind(!) so maybe it was just something I ate!

bikingintherain · 11/10/2015 16:59

I just drank a glass of apple juice as I've been feeling guilty about the amount of fruit in my diet. I used to eat loads but nearly everything now is making me feel so sick. Was a big mistake. I should have known it really, but I feel so rough now.

And last night I genuinely discovered that crisps helped the morning sickness. I did so well with DC2 not to put on crazy amounts of weight after gaining 4st with DC1, I fear I can see where this pg might be heading.

doricgirl · 11/10/2015 17:37

Glad it's not just me that crisps help!

Am finding I am both hungry and nauseous most of the time - ok if I keep eating small amounts...

Am also in Bristol not far from southmead but due to GP practice think I will be with st Michaels

Derbygirl37 · 11/10/2015 18:08

I got my BFP this morning. First with an internet cheapy and then with a First Response Digital. Been TTC since the beginning of June, I'm 38 and this will be my first. The only people I've told so far are DH and my best friend. I'm so excited!!! But really nervous too! xx

laughingGnomette · 11/10/2015 18:16

I'm so sorry London :(

jbiscuits · 11/10/2015 18:23

So sorry London Flowers

SarahChez · 11/10/2015 18:25

Can i join please? Got a super faint bfp on Wednesday, and another faint line this morning. Bought a Cb Digi to pee on in the morning.
Had a MC in August, so I'm crossing everything that it will work out this time.
This will be my 2nd baby, I have a DD who is almost 18 months.
No idea when I'm due because I'm not sure when my last period was. Whoops.
Super nervous / a little excited :)

jbiscuits · 11/10/2015 18:28

Welcome everyone new Smile

I've had a really rough weekend with nausea, which combined with tiredness has been making me feel quite down.

Crisps have been great here too, along with chocolate and milk. The thought of fruit is not good though, I wonder if it's the acidity?

JellyBaby26 · 11/10/2015 18:33

With DD I used to eat a couple of ginger biscuits before getting out of bed in the morning! Really hope that doesn't happen again as I put on so much weight Cake

bikingintherain · 11/10/2015 18:49

Yes welcome and congratulations to the new people.

I also want milk jbiscuits Although disastrously chocolate is triggering nausea for me at the moment. I want to eat, then if I do within 5 minutes am dry retching or curled up in a ball. I'm not sure it's worth it.

MadrigalElectromotive · 11/10/2015 18:50

Congratulations to new people! Flowers

jbiscuits I have been much the same - I can't really stomach anything much, and I started the actual vomiting today. Sad

Feeling a bit stressed about work, because I have to stand up in front of groups of students and teach them, and I am not actually sure how I am going to achieve that while I feel like this. Confused

bikingintherain · 11/10/2015 18:56

I feel your pain madrigal I was teaching both times before. Somehow I'd get through the lesson and then my boss would find me with my head on the desk at break and lunch times and would bring me tea and biscuits. He was very sweet. I think the kids did more independent research projects than before! But I was secondary so it was a bit easier in that sense.

GuessHowMuchILoveGin · 11/10/2015 18:58

Sorry, LondonGirl - hope you are ok.

Hello to the new people and sorry to those suffering in these early stages. I seem to be relatively unscathed so far. I craved roast chicken crisps last time - must have been the only person in the world to buy them. Today, after a very trying day with my beloved toddler, I am only craving gin, which is a shame!

jbiscuits · 11/10/2015 19:08

madrigal you have my sympathy. I cant imagine being at work and feeling like this. As it is I feel like DS might end up watching a lot more cbeebies than he's currently allowed in the next few months!

tigress23 · 11/10/2015 19:12

I feel your pain jbiscuits, madrigal and bikingintherain. I watched my friend run in the half marathon I had to withdraw from today. I alternated cheering with dry heaving... Luckily the nausea went away in time for the Canadian thanksgiving meal round my friend's house at 3pm.

I haven't found anything that helps. I've been drinking ginger tea and sucking on gin gins but they don't seem to help for more than a few minutes. I haven't been able to eat before 3pm for the past 4 days and yesterday I had serious nausea in the evening too.

Should I be worried or is this a normal degree of morning sickness?

jbiscuits · 11/10/2015 19:19

tigress I wouldn't be too worried unless you really start limiting the amount you can eat. If you can find anything you can remotely stomach try to eat little and often. I've added cream crackers to my shop tomorrow and will try to eat those throughout the day.

earlgreydrinker · 11/10/2015 19:29

Welcome all the newbies - congratulations!
Hope you are doing ok London
Sorry for those of you nauseous already. I felt seasick for about 8 weeks last time and ate my own body weight in crisps. I don't even like crisps!

Got a lovely strong line this morning so think I can stop testing now Grin.
But still got an ache (on and off)in my left side and got myself a bit stressed about it today so going to try and see the Dr tomorrow and hopefully get booked in at the same time. No other issues though so fingers crossed it's nothing! Early night for me, I'm knackered!

tigress23 · 11/10/2015 19:33

Thanks, jbiscuits. I'm normally a grazer, so not being able to eat my several mini-meals from waking until the afternoon is worrying. I haven't tried crackers, as I'm gluten-free, but I'm sure there are gluten-free ones out there, so I'll add them to my next shop. I don't want to lose any weight, as I'm already thin and don't want to be any thinner!

BabySocks · 11/10/2015 19:34

Well I am feeling brave and saying hello, have been reading from the start but scared! ! Have had a miscarriage, then a fab boy who is 3 then another miscarriage and it has taken 2 years ttc since then. Congrats to all the lovely ladies here already and sorry to those who have left already, it is a tough time and I know what you are going through :( xxx

jbiscuits · 11/10/2015 19:39

Welcome babysocks, and congratulations Smile

tigress I'm the same so also very wary about losing any weight. I also end up feeling quite faint and woozy if I don't eat enough. I'm terrified of passing out whilst home alone with DS!

mrsmugoo · 11/10/2015 19:45

I'm worried about gaining weight because I have only really just got back to my pre-pregnancy weight by being really strict 5:2 dieting then really strict MFP calorie counting to maintain. I feel like counting calories isn't good while pregnant but I struggle with discipline unless I'm rigidly logging and weighing in!

BabySocks · 11/10/2015 19:56

Ah I have weight concerns too, put on about 3 stone last time - mostly eating cake while breastfeeding :) and been doing slimming world and just got to target, am going to try to stay on plan and not gain much until after 12 weeks. .. hopefully my midwife will say I'm ok to keep doing it to stay healthy, I definitely don't plan to loose!

BabySocks · 11/10/2015 19:58

mrsm even though I want to stay on plan it is very hard to not mentally excuse having another biscuit :) How many calories are you allowed? I don't think counting is necessarily bad as long as you are not depriving yourself of healthy food x

Torfhinn · 11/10/2015 20:02

Evening all and welcome to everyone new!

Nausea here but thankfully my body is still allowing me to eat what i want. However, my super enhanced gag reflex is coming on a treat so I'm sure I'll have a few voms due to that. Last time, i couldn't brush my back teeth for weeks Shock

Oh and sore nipples! My clothes feel like sandpaper!

bikingintherain · 11/10/2015 20:10

babysocks my SIL did slimming world all the way through her pregnancy. I don't quite know how it worked, obviously she told them and kept going to meetings. I think it was partly to maintain her free membership. But if you go to meetings, then you could talk to the leader and I'm sure they would be able to make healthy and good recommendations.
