Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

We're planning on waiting till the 12w scan to tell people too, other than my sister and probably my mum, hence why I feel so guilty about telling my friend. Fortunately I think she's the only person tactless enough to ask outright so I think we'll be alright.

I don't know anything about painkillers I'm afraid, other than that you shouldn't take ibuprofen. I'd try not to worry too much about it though, just from the sense that it's done and you can't change anything now anyway. Hope your biopsy comes back alright though.

nehagarg · 25/09/2015 16:55

I am hanging all my hopes on - One little tablet wont make much difference. Last mmc didnt have any meds involved so its not like you can stop these things by googling ... Smile

thanks nehegarg yeah i would also tell my boos if i had to do anything physical, pregnancy comes first. but hoping i can wait till at least 8 weeks without having to tell work.

jbisuits i'm envious of you coz at least you have an idea of what to expect and hopefully it makes it easier second time around. Blush might be completely wrong lol.

yeah it was just a few wipes on tissue when I went to the loo on Wednesday (its when I was expecting AF) but I had had a faint positive on Tuesday so my heart did sink until google and it stopped completely so did the clear blue test when i got home from work got 1-2 weeks- sorry if TMI, and today I think it might have been the dark red berry smoothie I drank that tinged my wee coz its only happened the once and it was so faint and its not happened again. also did my other clear blue and it now says 2-3 weeks so my hcg is stronger in just 2 days, which i guess is good - that relaxed me a little.

anyways, now i've run out of clear blue digitals (as had 2 in the box) and not going to spend anymore money on the tests. so fx and just wait to see gp next week and for my booking with midwife a few weeks after.

again sorry coz i tend to write essays Blush

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 25/09/2015 17:23

Found a stash of tests from when we were ttc properly so have started on those! Will probably only accept this is ok when I have my first scan.

nehagarg · 25/09/2015 18:07

Know the feeling Macca ... I peed on every pregnancy test I had and I still cant accept it. I'llrelax when the 7 week scanhappens and then start eorrying the moment they turn the ultrasound off and I cant see the bean anymore.

What havewe got ourselves into? Shock

amiseeingright don't feel too jealous, I have to do pregnancy with a toddler! It was hard enough the first time round! Everything I learnt last time I go from MN anyway Grin

nehagarg you don't stop worrying about them once they're born either. This morning DS slept in longer than usual, and I was outside his room with my ear to the door trying to listen for him moving around. I'd almost convinced myself that he couldn't be sleeping that well, he must have hit his head and knocked himself unconscious or something!

MollieRos · 25/09/2015 19:24

Hi everyone, is it ok if I join? I'm actually due on 29th May and joined the May 2016 thread, but most people on there seem so much farther along than me so I thought it would be good to chat to people who are at a similar stage to me.

Looks like it's not just me that's finding it hard to believe I'm actually pregnant! My DH and I had literally just decided to stop being so careful, and I fell pregnant immediately. So it seems just so unlikely that things will work out that I'm just waiting for things to go wrong. Not very optimistic I know!

I got my positive test on Monday, and it's seemed like the longest week since then. I'm just counting down the days till my 12w scan. I'm currently 4+5 I think, so it seems like very early days.

MollieRos · 25/09/2015 19:25

Oh also, I forgot- congratulations to everyone! Smile

nehagarg · 25/09/2015 20:06

Hey Mollie ... Congratulations! We'll all hold each others hands through the worry and the obsessing. Smile

jbiscuits ... I knoooooow! My dad said to me the other day that you are 32 and I still havent stopped worrying! It all starts with one faint line on a stick and never ends! But I love every minute. Grin

Evening all, hello to AmIseeingright, jw35 and Mollie! Congratulations all!

jbiscuits I've been on the decaf for years and just drink tetley/PGtips. You kinda get used to it Grin Hope you find something you like.

Sorry, I don't know about the diclofenac nehagarg, but I really am sure 1 tablet won't do anything at all, especially this early.

AmIseeingright, I had spotting at 5 and 9 weeks with my first and everything was absolutely fine and I've had cramps on/off for the past week Smile I hope it all settles down for you.

I'm telling work and parents as I have a job that has the potential to be risky and I don't feel right telling work and not my mum. If i tell my mum, the DH wants to tell his mum... and so it goes on Confused

Feeling ok here, just vaguely sick and hungry. And the headaches have started - had them last time. It's sinking in that it's real now - the second time round you do know what's coming, but I'm not sure it's better to know! Is anyone else expecting number 2 except for you jbiscuits?

AmIseeingRight · 26/09/2015 08:59

Morning all

Mollie congrats and welcome - I'm 4+2 so just a few days behind you and also cant wait for my 1st scan. I spoke to the midwife service and they will send me my first appointment details next week (I think its the 8 wks). Also yesterday sore boobs kicked in, never had them with AF so a first for me, off to buy my first maternity bra.

Just a quick question, this last week I keep waking up at 3/4am and cant go back to sleep for an hour? anyone else have interrupted sleep this early in a pregnancy?

MollieRos · 26/09/2015 09:45

AmIseeingRight I've had exactly the same! All week I keep waking in the night, generally just before 4am, then I'm awake for a couple of hours or so. It's driving me mad. My poor DH is being disturbed by me being awake too, so we're both feeling a bit sleep deprived and grumpy.

Other than that, I haven't really had any symptoms- I've had a bit of nausea during the day, and feeling absolutely starving in between times. And my boobs have just started getting quite sore. But really just a general feeling of being a bit unwell, which could just be the fact that I'm awake half the night!

belkins · 26/09/2015 14:07

Can I tentatively join?!

I've had 3 days of faint positives, period not due until Monday.... I'm on a round of clomid and have had 7 early mc's in the past so am extremely cautious! Had to test early in order to start progesterone pessaries (ick) as soon as I got a positive.

Congrats to you all Grin

Re tea - I cut out caffeine (I drank around 5 cups tea/coffee a day before I started clomid) and began drinking peppermint tea. Its lovely! Tried various others (including de-caffeinated tea) but couldn't get on with them.

Yes yes MollieRos and AmIseeingRight, I too have been waking super early! And I also waking up burning hot?

I've also had period like cramps for the last 2 days which panics me.... But am determined to remain positive!

nehagarg · 26/09/2015 15:07

Oh no! No one should have to go through 7 MCs belkins. Shock Bestest of luck. Hope this one sticks like super glue. And welcome. Smile

I am in the same boat girls. Clock strikes 4 AM and my eyes fly open. Sometimes I get up go lie down in the guest room to not disturb DH.

Other than light cramps and super dry hair like broom twigs - no symptoms.

jbiscuits · 26/09/2015 18:40

Hello mollie and belkins, and congratulations Smile

I've also been sleeping terribly too. Not so much being awake for hours, but tossing and turning all night. I've also been having some really strange dreams.

I've also been feeling really quesy today. I'm sure it's not meant to start this early!

Torfhinn · 26/09/2015 19:27

Hi belkins, I'm so sorry for all your losses, hoping that pessaries are what you need and this bean a super-sticky one Smile

No major symptoms here except extra hungry. Sorry to all suffering with insomnia, but I had one of the best sleeps in a long time last night! I did suffer with pregnancy insomnia last time, after about 30 weeks and sometimes couldn't get to sleep 'til 7am! Not sure how I'll manage that with a 2 year old this time round Hmm

Right, off to find more food....Shock

Torfhinn · 26/09/2015 19:29

Would anyone like a stats list so we know everyone's due date? I can start:

Torfhinn, Baby#2 due 6th June 2016

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 26/09/2015 20:15

No symptoms though have got a cold and not sure if I can take anything? I'm sure I heard I can't even have paracetamol now?

This will be number 2 for us, there'll be a 4.5 year gap as had to wait a few years to get a repair op which delayed ttc.

nehagarg · 26/09/2015 20:37

Oh dont get me started on the dreams. I dreamt about Vogons and Voldemort last night! Lol. They do have a common link I suppose. They are both ugly. Grin

Stats sounds like a great idea Torfhinn

Torfhinn, Baby#2 due 6th June 2016
Nehagarg, Baby#1 due 2nd June 2016

jbiscuits · 26/09/2015 20:47

maccapacca I've just googled the paracetamol advice (as I took some yesterday). The NHS site seems to say it's ok, and the BBC article from May talks about the effects of long term taking paracetamol. So I think as a one off it should be fine. The NHS site does say to avoid paracetamol with caffeine tablets though.

Jbiscuits, baby#2 due 1st June 2016
Nehagarg, Baby#1 due 2nd June
Torfhinn, Baby#2 due 6th June

AmIseeingRight · 26/09/2015 21:09

while it not nice, its reassuring to know other are waking up at 4am for no reason.

Macca I also read, you should avoid any with codeine/Co-codamol and ibuprofen. But details are sketchy, even on the NHS website.

Jbiscuits, baby#2 due 1st June 2016
Nehagarg, Baby#1 due 2nd June
AmIseeingRight, baby#1 due 2nd June 2016
Torfhinn, Baby#2 due 6th June

bugsyburge · 26/09/2015 21:13

Hello! Tentatively joining with bfp...dd 4june. This is Dc2, my daughter is 19months. Such a shock to find out I was pregnant...really didn't expect it. I did a test on the off chance just because I was feeling "funny"

Fx for sticky beans for all

boatyroo · 26/09/2015 22:48

I've been a bit less queasy the past couple of days, and sleeping OK so far thankfully. It all still doesn't feel very real!!

Jbiscuits, baby#2 due 1st June 2016
