Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Hi ladies - can I join ? Been TTC since Feb for #1 and got our first BFP 2 days ago after a BFN 2 weeks earlier so was shocked ! Saw dr today and she puts me at almost 6 weeks, had really bad period type pain last night though and now convinced I'm miscarrying although I've had no bleeding !

LondonGirl83 · 09/10/2015 19:37

Stripe don't worry. I think I'm miscarrying all the time.

Before long I'll need to be committed!

Congrats!

Stripes1983 · 09/10/2015 19:46

Lol thanks london OH tells me to stop being negative but I'm trying to be realistic ! I'm due 4th June btw , glad to know I'm not on my own !

Kajamite · 09/10/2015 20:34

Congrats and welcome everyone Smile

I'm so sorry your little boy didn't make it kezod

Madrigal* I took your advice and got a
Big bag of tan fanatics. I don't know if they helped but they were certainly tasty Grin

Kajamite · 09/10/2015 20:34

Bold fail. And oh my *tangfastics not tan fanatics Blush

PrincessPunzie · 09/10/2015 21:01

Hi LondonGirl yes I love my spin classes! I haven't told my two instructors yet because a bit like you I kind of know them too well - if they were just faceless strangers it would be different, but I've been going to the classes for years. Most of my family don't know so the thought of spilling it to anyone else just seems strange. I've known women in my spin class continue til they're about to give birth, so we should be fine! That said, because I'm a sweaty and obsessive exerciser, I've been trying to take it down a notch since I found out I was pg, in case I overheat. I did my usual express abs class today and was absolutely rubbish at it though, so I'm wondering how long I'll be able to continue with that for. I might have to start obsessively researching pregnancy pilates DVDs instead! Anyone know of any good ones?

Welcome kezod - ever so sorry to read your story but huge congratulations on your BFP Flowers

PrincessPunzie · 09/10/2015 21:04

Welcome Stripes1983 as well - and don't worry, I think most of us are walking the fine line between being pleased and hopeful, but trying to be realistic because it's still early days. I think that women who walk around with silly grins on their face for the whole trimester and order stuff for the nursery are, basically, fictional.

PrincessPunzie · 09/10/2015 21:07

*whole first trimester

jbiscuits · 09/10/2015 21:22

Welcome stripes and kezod. So sorry to hear what happened though kezod Flowers

So glad I don't seem to be the only one with a sweet tooth. I feel like I've survived this week on wine gums and chocolate Grin

Feeling very unfit compared to some of you, although pushing DS everywhere in the pushchair has to count for something right? Spin classes sound like my idea of hell!

EmilyBStarr · 09/10/2015 22:52

Hi everyone, excited to be able to join too. Due date is 18th June I think. Already have DD aged 2. Worked first time for us which I can't quite believe! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

GuessHowMuchILoveGin · 10/10/2015 07:21

Hi Team! Dipping a tentative toe in the June water.

I am a bit pregnant with number 2 - DS is just over two. Because I am spectacularly disorganised, I don't know when my LMP was, but got a positive test on Weds, so am guessing it's going to be a mid June date.

I'll be 38 soon, so definitely an OAP. Smile

Will be testing again next week then giving the MW a call. Doesn't seem real yet - I feel fine, but wasn't sick last time. Anyway, fingers crossed that all is well.

Will add myself to the list when I have a better idea of date... Good luck evveryone!

mrsmugoo · 10/10/2015 08:24

Welcome to all the newbies, I'm losing track of names - wow haven't we all been busy making all these June babies?!

obsessedlex · 10/10/2015 08:38

Wow this thread moves so fast!
Welcome and congrats to all the newbies xx

I'm still worrying myself to death that I don't really FEEL pregnant anymore.
I had strong symptoms when I found out, really sore boobs and nausea but that seems to have gone...... Not really sure what to do.
Are you all feeling steadily more pregnant?

Belleboo23 · 10/10/2015 08:46

Hi everyone can I join please :). I'm 36 pregnant with #3 have a big age gap ds is 12 dd is 8 people will think this one was an accident but definitely not!! Got my bfp straight after coming off the pill which was surprising lol I did clear blue digital yesterday and it says 1-2 weeks so docs will add 2 weeks on I think? So I believe will put me mid June but my other two were 5 and 6 weeks early so hoping docs will monitor a bit better this time xx

Violet88 · 10/10/2015 09:05

Welcome to all the new people and congratulations on your BFP's!! Flowers

I'm having a bit of a dilemma and wondering if anyone had any thoughts/advice? We moved to the other side of Liverpool about 2 months ago and as the move had been planned for a while in May I applied for a new job in the new location, knowing it would take ages to get a start date anyway. The new job is a bank health care assistant. Which means I will work ad hoc for a hospital trust on different wards depending on the day I want to work where the hospital is short of hca's. The work involves a lot of moving and handling. Transferring patients into and out of bed, helping them roll over, helping them to stand and walk etc. As well as toileting, feeding etc. My dilemma is I still haven't got a start date. I had an interview in June, in which they asked me sneakily after asking a question where I had to describe a time I had shown flexibility, if I was married/had any children already or wanted children soon?! I know they are not really allowed to ask such questions and it was done very cleverly, to not be obvious that it was an "official" question so to speak and was more friendly chat, but I knew it wasn't and they really wanted to know! Anyway I didn't disclose that I was trying obviously. Since then I passed the interview, have passed occupational health checks and CRB checks and am now just waiting for them to call me about a start date for my training. But I know don't know what to do? I was very proactive calling them up every week asking for an update, as I was eager to start, but haven't called since finding out. I think if it was a permanent full time job I would feel differently but as its a "bank" job I feel that I couldn't do the job properly now. Pregnant HCA's usually don't do any/much of the manual handling part of the work after they get their risk assessments done. I would feel ok about that if I was one of the full time team and my colleagues knew me and knew i normally contributed fully, but as a bank hca I would feel I was taking the piss really as I'm there because the ward is understaffed and they need another fully functioning team member to pull their weight and help out. I would pretty much be working with a different set of people every shift and never getting to know them. On the other hand I don't want to not tell them and put my baby at risk by doing too much lifting etc. Also if I tell them now before I have actually signed a contract, would they just not take me on?? I'm wondering if I should just forget about this job and try to find something else instead?

Sorry for the long post, any help much appreciated. x

LondonGirl83 · 10/10/2015 09:54

They can't withdraw the job at this point as they would risk being sued I'm sure. Its really up to you to decide if you can do it (speak to your GP) and if you feel you want to do it in light of the bfp.

AmIseeingRight · 10/10/2015 10:57

obsessedlex hi I was feeling less pregnant and thought I wants even pregnant anymore but yesterday I started having this sharp shooting pains on the side of my breasts, overnight its like my breasts have grown Hmm, they are so painful even putting a maternity bra on hurst, ab accidental brush, I'm tired, which gets worse at mid afternoon along with a dose of mild nausea. Anyways this is just to say, these things look like they just come and go at will. As long as healthy baby at the end i don't even care about the symptoms or lack of anymore.

yesterday we had a work event and afterward dinner and drinks, i had to tell everyone i was on meds thats why i'm not drinking, luckily i had been to the doctors on Thursday for my flu jab so no one questioned it Smile anyone had their or planing to have the flu jab. Also I'm craving Fanta? anyone else with cravings already

LondonGirl83 · 10/10/2015 11:35

You ladies are such a comfort. I'm going crazy worrying I'm not pregnant anymore! I tested for the first 5 days after my initial BFP and the line become very strong. This morning, I decided to test again after not doing so for a few days and the line was still clearly positive, it was much less dark than before. Of course google has sent me into a frenzy but I just have to step away from the internet and raise that we all share these worries and struggles. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE FURTHER ALONG!!!

mrsmugoo · 10/10/2015 12:11

I still feel completely normal and not "pregnant" at all, although I'm not even sure what that feels like as I didn't feel pregnant last time until I had a baby squirming around inside me! I'm thinking of doing my final CBD tomorrow?

GuessHowMuchILoveGin · 10/10/2015 12:14

Yep. This early time is a nightmare. Last time the news was full of how Kate Middleton's hyperesis meant she was carrying a super-baby (or something). I had no symptoms to speak of... It all turned out fine. ??.

I will be having the flu jab soon - get it every year with work.

Violet, might be worth speaking to Occupational Health to see what they say. I did fairly heavy duty stuff til pretty late last time, but not everyone would be comfortable with that I guess.

tigress23 · 10/10/2015 12:23

AmISeeingRight, I had the flu jab this morning. It's so great that it's free! DH got one too, for extra protection for me, but obviously we had to pay for his.

I'm dying of nausea. Ginger tea is the only thing I can manage. Ugh.

In better news, I've bought a sleeping bra from Asos to help restrain my boobs, which have doubled in size, while I sleep. I highly recommend them, I slept so much more comfortably (apart from getting up to wee several times).

Rose2806 · 10/10/2015 12:32

Hey everyone, I got my BFP last night so can join you guys! Nice to see some of the people from the October thread on the TTC forum :-) From the date of my last period and average cycle length I think I'm due around 20th June but haven't had it worked out properly yet.

Are you guys arranging doctors appointments asap? I'm planning to go next week. SO excited but also nervous, this is my first so trying to get as clued up as possible! Does anyone have a good book they can recommend?

DH is the one worrying the most that things could go wrong. My main symptoms have been mild cramping, needing to wee in the night more and the "gut slowing" effects of progesterone (slightly embarrasing!) but my boobs haven't done anything at all yet, I was worried that because they're not I can't really be pregnant, but seems that we all vary a lot!

Stripes1983 · 10/10/2015 12:40

Craziness of thinking I'm not pg here too - trying to hold off testing again until next week, got a hen do tonight though and have had to make up that I'm on tablets ! Might have to invest in that sleeping bra soon tigress !

obsessedlex · 10/10/2015 12:43

Oh mrsmugoo that's comforting - I had many many more symptoms last time which is why this is worrying me, but maybe I should stop panicking and just chill - thanks xx

BiffleRoo · 10/10/2015 12:45

belleboo my DDs were 8&10 when DS was born but he too was very much planned and wanted. DS is DHs 1st though (girls were marriage #1) so not so unusual I guess. Found the age gap to be the hardest thing to deal with by far as I had to contented with school runs and after school clubs etc
