Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Dental care is only free if you go to an NHS dentist, though, LondonGirl. I can't fault the NHS for anything else because they are bloody brilliant, but one visit to an NHS dentist made me accept the dental cover offered by work so I could go private.

Potkettleblack2 · 09/10/2015 13:02

6 weeks today for me too madrigal and if I thought I was exhausted before I'm even worse today! I feel exhausted and hungover!
But I did find a pair of maternity yoga bottoms and I would advise anyone feeling bloated to get a pair ASAP-they are sooo comfy!

mrsmugoo · 09/10/2015 13:08

Last time I couldn't find an NHS dentist that would accept me - I rung round soooo many!

Kajamite · 09/10/2015 13:10

I think I spoke too soon about no symptoms. I'm sitting at my desk feeling horribly sick and can't do anything about it until everyone comes back from lunch in an hour.

I might just slyly grab the bin over beside me

tigress23 · 09/10/2015 13:21

Kajamite, try to distract yourself... It seems to help me a bit

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 13:39

I am feeling nauseous today too ... If anyone ever hears me complaining about not having morning sickness, I'll give you my address, please come to my house and give me a good kick! Angry

Kajamite ... Hope you feel better!

I don't think there are any NHS dentists in the place I live. Confused

I'm not going to our nearest Big City to go to the dentist (assuming one would even accept me) so I'll just have to pay I think.

Kajamite and tigress Sour sweets are helping with my nausea - tangfastics and I've ordered some "preggie pop drops" on Amazon which will hopefully arrive soon. Thought I'd mention it in case it helps. Smile

Kajamite · 09/10/2015 14:04

Preggie pop drops? I've never heard of those but I love sour sweets! I might just need to order some as well

It's my turn to go for lunch thank god. Feeling a bit better now I'm outside but still got the rest of the day to go.

Hope everyone else is feeling better soon too

MadrigalElectromotive · 09/10/2015 14:12

Yes, I found them when I was searching for anti-nausea remedies in general. It's funny - I actually can't remember the last time I ate sweets! I don't normally like them.

I'm starting to wonder if this baby is actually mine - I have been eating bananas, grapefruit juice, and sour sweets like they are going out of fashion. None are things I would normally look twice at. Confused Grin

Hope the fresh air and a bit of food help you to feel better Kaja.

PrincessPunzie glad to hear there is another spinner in the group! Have you told your instructor? I’ve read on the NHS that cycling on a stationary bike is meant to be fine while pregnant and I don’t feel like telling him yet because he’s a bit of a friend. I might have to tell my yoga and pilates instructors though!

Tigress23 I didn't realise that. I tend to go private with major dental work after a terrible experience getting a wisdom tooth removed on the NHS. The dentist (who was quite junior and looked to be learning) broke it and another doctor had to come and finish the work. Needless to say my mouth was torn to pieces!

ToInfinity · 09/10/2015 14:46

So just did another test (Internet cheapy), and it only showed a very faint line. First test on Sunday was CB.
Anything to worry about?

JellyBaby26 · 09/10/2015 15:13

My internet cheapies only got dark when I was a week late

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 15:15

Maybe a bit too early for this but the thread was hilarious and I had to share Grin. Maybe something to show our respective DHs?

Gin-gins were my sweet of choice last time around. They are pure ginger and come as hard or chewy and you can get them from Holland and Barrett. Great for popping in your mouth when waves of nausea hit you on a rush hour tube/train :(

kezod · 09/10/2015 15:46

Hi Ladies, hoping to jump on the bus! Tested positive a few days ago, so very excited.

I'm currently on maternity leave after delivering a little boy at 25 weeks in July that sadly didn't make it, so I'm pleased to catch again so soon.
Not sure how people are going to react when I tell them I pregnant again, still getting lots of pitying looks, can't even bring myself to tell my mum yet! so I think I'll wait and see how things pan out for a bit before opening my mouth!
Reading back (which took forever!) someone else said they're going to have to take Heparin Injections too at 16wks, wonder what that will be like! Started back with the yoga today, feels good to be getting back into a pregnancy routine!
No symptoms as of yet, and I totally breezed through my last pregnancy (believe it or not!) so I'm hoping not to have too much bother with this one!

Due 14th June (I'll update the spreadsheet when I get a chance), sorry for the long post!

ToInfinity · 09/10/2015 15:53

Welcome Kezod
Congrats on the bfp Flowers
So sorry to hear about your loss, can't imagine how awful it must have been. Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy!

LondonGirl83 · 09/10/2015 16:22

Congrats on your bfp Kezod Star

Sorry for you loss but glad you were able to fall pregnant again so easily. My fingers will be firmly crossed for you this time Flowers

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 16:31

Welcome kezod congratulations on your BFP and on the birth of your what I'm sure was a beautiful little boy, but I'm terribly sorry for you that he didn't make it Flowers

I'm interested to know what you are doing re maternity leave? I'm on leave as well, due back mid February but obviously not returning!

kezod · 09/10/2015 17:23

Thanks Laides.

Jelly Its a bit complicated for me, as I'm a paramedic. So as soon as I found out I was pregnant last time, they took me off frontline duties and banished me to an office! So I imagine I will have to go straight back to the office once I finish this maternity (should hopefully be about 16wks by then) and I think my policy states that if I return to work for 13wks (in any capacity) then I don't need to repay any of the mat leave I'm currently on, does that make sense? So that's my plan Smile
As for what I'm doing whilst I'm on my leave, I've gone back to uni to do another year of my masters, which is keeping me ridiculously busy, thankfully.
What are you going to do about carrying on your maternity?
Although I should be writing an essay, but I'm procrastinating on here, way more fun, finding out how everyone is doing!

MadrigalElectromotive · 09/10/2015 17:36

Welcome kezod and congratulations on your BFP!

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Flowers

doricgirl · 09/10/2015 17:51

Hi Kezod

Congratulations and also sorry to hear about your wee boy.

I think it was probably me who mentioned Heparin - am not sure when I have to start - is it something you've had before? I am used to using it for flying but not every day!

doricgirl · 09/10/2015 17:54

Have been a bit absent as I have been so tired and really struggling with work - it feels like I have had my brain removed which is not good when I have a very important funding application to do...

How is everyone else doing?

Feels so weird not to be able to tell people but I am getting used to it.

Got to work till 10pm today though zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Clockstooticky · 09/10/2015 17:54

Welcome kezod. So sorry about your little boy. That must have been awful. I'm also a front line nhs worker, Hello! Xx

Torfhinn · 09/10/2015 18:30

Another frontline NHS worker here!

Welcome kezod, congratulations on your BFP! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I can't imagine how hard that must be Flowers It's great that you can share here until you are ready to tell people in RL.

Still having sharps and dull cramps, especially on the right hand side. Also feeing sick and weeing literally every half an hour. Has some discharge that could possible be a bit of spotting. So pregnancy symptoms are on the up, but worrying symptoms are there as well Hmm

Toinfinity, I've peed on so many IC's recently. The lines were always fairly faint (some barely there) and did not change much until this week (period 10 days late). I think there are a bit crap so try not to worry Smile
